Summary
The ritual went wrong, perhaps not in the most chaotic way it could have, but it was sure as hell not the way Valerius would have anticipated; leaving him pregnant, the Countess comatose, Julius in hiding after faking his death, and Lucio, the first lover Valerius had had, dead.
