How do you surprise a highly intelligent person and that practically nothing is a surprise to your reasoning?
Lumine had that doubt embedded in her head from days before.
He wanted to make a nice surprise for Tighnari, something nice and meaningful to celebrate his union, he also wanted to thank him for accepting to be his partner for the rest of his life.
He had in mind something simple perhaps, so as not to draw attention and inconvenience the boy, as the time when everyone heard about the mark on the neck of the young ranger, the congratulations and questions addressed to the boy had been very annoying. So something quiet was fine, but nothing came up.
Tighnari had an excellent sense to detect any lie or secret, however small, and the task of surprising him was practically impossible.
And the stress of not being able to give her a good gift bothered her a little, even Paimon had noticed her discomfort.
Then something in his head clicked.

The fox lay with both arms outstretched to the sky, stretching his body to relax his muscles a little after a long day fulfilling his responsibilities. Smiling slightly when her senses caught a unique sweetness that she loved.
Tighnari did not move from his place, simply letting Lumine get close enough to surprisingly kiss the back of his neck, a kiss on the fabric that covered the property mark. He shook slightly before turning around and looking straight at the pretty golden eyes.
"My beautiful Tighnari"
"Hello, Lumine" she smiled at the greeting, kissing this time the fox’s cheek.
"As long as you’re around and as far as I can tell, you’re done patrolling. I have to show you something" and stopped hiding his hands along with some cloth that was holding "But I’ll cover your eyes"
The young ranger did not complain, in fact he could not say anything about it, a moment of distraction was enough for her to fulfill her own whim.
Lumine covered her eyes calmly, gently wrapping that piece of cloth too carefully, Tighnari curiously did not bother to feel the softness on his eyelids, letting himself be carried away by the little game of his partner. In fact it was nice for him to start such games, it was nice to surrender to the tenderness given by his girlfriend.
Little by little his legs began to move, apparently taking him somewhere else, with Lumine holding his hands very carefully while pulling these slowly, taking care not to trip him. She was charming, no doubt.
She whispered sweet words that inspired her confidence and serenity, distracting Tighnari with love phrases and intensifying his aroma so that he could not guess the place where they were going or ruin the surprise, for Lumine’s fortune was working and with each step his expression of confusion was more noticeable.
"Don’t say anything for now, okay? Just trust me."
"All right," he said calmly, though inside he longed to take off what covered his eyes.
The soft hands of her let him loose little by little, caressing them a little and giving him a little kiss before separating completely, disoriented and curious could only take air.
I was not going to deny it, I was nervous and the curiosity in his chest became bigger along with the confusion, totally stunned by the sweetness of Lumine that permeated his sensitive nose, he did not complain, not much.
The fabric left her face, giving her the ability to open her eyes little by little to get used to the intensity of sunlight.
Then he looked around.
With a beautiful view of Sumeru and the small flowers covering almost the entire hill where he had been taken, with the pleasant breeze hitting his face and waving his hair, he wondered how they had gotten there so quickly, That wasn’t important at the time.
"Surprise" she said happily behind her back.
Tighnari was delighted, showing a little of his cute tusks as he smiled and his face warm before the soft carmine colour that adorned his cheeks. The detail was nice, she had taken the trouble to take him there, a peaceful place with the characteristics that he enjoyed, only to make him happy and could not be more grateful.
With her heart pounding as she turned and looked at her.
Lumine was beautiful, her blonde hair moved in small waves thanks to the soft wind, the most beautiful smile that she had illuminated her face and eyes, those golden eyes full of life shone with so much intensity that Tighnari felt melt of love.
In his hands, a huge bouquet of flowers that the boy knew very well along with those he only knew through books and his studies.
"Flowers?" he dared to ask a little embarrassed.
"It’s silly to give you flowers when in any corner of the forest you can find them" the nervous laugh that came out of his lips was lovely "But these are special"
Special, no doubt they were special, flowers of all kinds that were around Mondstad, Liyue and dared to say that also from Inazuma, how had he got them? I had no idea, but they were for him.
A bouquet specially made for him. His Lumine, his owner, his alpha had given him a gift.
The face of the fox, of that beautiful omega was coloured even more red, smiling completely dazed and of course, happy.

Tighnari did not hesitate for a second to approach his partner, not only to claim and hold the beautiful gift made of flowers, no, he would thank him as he best thought, planting a kiss on Lumine’s pink lips.
Every kiss that was given was unique and that last was no exception, it was a nice kiss, soft but intense and was loaded with so many feelings that the heart of the traveler accelerated with joy.
"What a cute little fox, so beautiful and so perfect" she smiled amused and clearly sorrowful, although the security in her words was still there "And you are only mine"

And without being able to contain themselves the laughs flooded the peaceful place, it was too much fun to talk like that, calling themselves 'alpha' or 'omega' respectively and enjoying it every time they did. Even if they only used those nicknames on special occasions apparently.
