or, the one where Remus pines after Sirius endlessly, Lily bullies him for it; James pines after Lily, and everyone bullies him for that. There are rats on the Tube, and also everywhere else. The whole group listens to a lot of music, the rain is endless, the angst is also seemingly endless but it's really not, some birthdays are celebrated, and above all, Sirius is an oblivious, devastatingly attractive mess.

modern muggle au. being roommates with one of your best friends should - in theory - be the easiest thing in the world, but remus lupin discovers that there's nothing easy about it, when you've got some very practical feelings for them.
cute little roommates-to-lovers get-together. remus is so in his head regarding his fancy for sirius that he resorts to wallowing around while listening to depressing 90's music on repeat, as if he needed an excuse to do that. thankfully, the constant rain and also lily - who's busy floundering about her own quite complicated feelings for one james potter - keep him rather good company (my god, do i cherish their friendship!). remus' time in berlin was so compelling to read about; i just love watching him get taken out of his element and thrown in too deep and off his axis lol. he's such a creature of habit in my head that i'm sure it'd drive him mad, all this change so soon - but at the same time, there's something about his tenacity and flexibility as a person that i think allows him to fit in and get relatively comfortable pretty quickly wherever he lands.
