When the new kid first came to the school, no one knew what they should be expecting. A battle partner? The key for an otherwise hopeless plan? An accomplice to various crimes? While these could all be true, from a certain point of view, it’s safe to say that no one could have predicted just how much Florian would have affected the lives of not just his friends, but the entirety of the Paldea Region. “Hey Arven, is it just me, or does this sandwich kinda smell like updog?”
Arven looked over at Florian, oblivious to Penny’s look of amusement from across the picnic table. “Updog?”
“Yeah, you know, updog!” Florian stated, looking at Arven like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“No, I don’t know, what is updog-”
“Nothing much dog, what’s up with you?! Ha! Gottem!” Florian yelled out loud before laughing maniacally.
“Oh you gotta be kidding me.” Arven mumbled, with a hand to his face as Penny and Nemona joined in the laughter.
“Hey, Penny! Penny! Penny! Penny!”
“Yes Florian?” Penny replied as she opened up her dorm room door.
“I have a very important question, where can I find, like, actual clothes?”
“... What?” Penny asked, looking at Florian with complete confusion.
“I’m so incredibly tired of wearing this stupid uniform everywhere! But I literally cannot find other clothes anywhere! The closest I’ve found is that I can change into either shorts or pants or seasonal wear!” he explained, “but then it occurred to me, ‘Wait a minute! Penny doesn’t wear the uniform! I bet she knows where I can get actual clothes!’, so you gotta help me Penny, I’m sick of being formal all the time!”
“...” Penny kinda just stood there and stared at him for a while before finally replying, “Have you considered using the internet?”
“...” Florian paused for a second before turning around. “I’ll be right back to update you on the results.”
“Hey Nemona!”
“Yeah?”
“Wanna battle some crazy strong Pokémon?”
“You Bet I Do! Wait for me!”
-Later-
“Flor…”
“Yeah?”
“Isn’t this the one type of Tera Raid we were told to not go into under any cause?” She asked as the two stood in front of a dark black tera crystal.
“Yep! You got the best Pokémon for the occasion!?” he replied
“You know I do! Let's go!” she cried as the two entered the Tera raid.
