Sun sang softly as he colored; it was a drawing of him and Monty. The gator was currently spending time with the daycare attendant during after hours as he so often did now. Sun wanted to give him a gift, to show just how much he cared about him.
Monty chuckled softly, tuning his bass as he sat close to his partner. "Why're you singing that song, firefly? No kids around, ya know." His deep, Cajun accent echoed slightly in the large space around them.
"Oh, I just love love 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 nursery rhymes! They're so much fun to sing with the kiddos!" Sun replied with his wide grin, sticking his tongue out in concentration as he continued to draw. The gator smirked, "Perhaps I should show ya some 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 good music, Sunny." His eyes lit up then, getting an idea.
𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘴, 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥.
Sun's eyes also widened, lighting up with excitement. "Oh, oh, really???? That'd be so sweet, Monty!!!" He giggled, holding out the piece of artwork he'd been working on. "Aaaaand all done! For you, sunbite!!"
Monty gently took the paper, a loving smile on his face as he set his bass to the side and pulled Sunny close, kissing his forehead.
He had some work to do.

The next evening, Monty had invited Sun to his room, walking with the solar bot hand-in-hand. "So, cher, I have a surprise for ya when we get to my room." He smiled, chuckling softly at his firefly's squeals of excitement.
"Oooh, what is it, Monty? Can I guess? Oh, is it something I can put on my wall??" Sunny asked, his free hand shaking in a happy stim.
"No, cutie, but you'll see." Monty gently squeezed Sun's hand in his own, kissing his cheek. "I think you'll like it, firefly."
A short walk later, they arrived in Rockstar Row. Sun dragged Monty to his room in excitement, "Show me show me show me!!!" He chanted, practically vibrating. The gator chuckled as he unlocked the door with his pass, stepping inside and bringing Sunny to sit on the couch. He made sure not to trash his room today, solely for his love.
"Alright, cher, close ya eyes." He smiled as Sun obeyed, closing his eyes and gently patting his lap in more stims.

The lyrics flowed through stereo speakers, making Sun gasp softly as he opened his eyes. "Monty…what is this?"
"Heh, I told ya I'd show ya some good music other than nursery rhymes, Sunny. Made a whole playlist for ya. Thought we could listen as we hung out in here." The gator explained, blushing softly as he looked to the side. He wasn't used to this feeling, or romantic relationships in general, but he was trying his hardest for Sun. "They're all songs that make me think of you, firefly."
The solar bot blushed and stood, walking to him and holding Monty's large hands in his own, giving them a squeeze before standing on his toes to kiss his snout.
"I can't wait to listen to them all, sunbite."
