You walked into your little apartment above the daycare, smiling as you called out for your loves. At the sound of your voice, Sun and Moon popped their heads out of the kitchen, smiling once their eyes reached yours.
"Sunshine, you're back!" Sun stepped quickly to you, picking you up and spinning you twice before he hugged you close. "We missed you!"
You giggled from being spun, gently petting his rays. "I missed you too, Sunnybaby." His rays fluttered as you gently caressed them, his fans whirring in a gentle purr. "Moonie and I made a surprise for you!"
"Oh? What were you boys up to while I was gone," you asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We made you cookies," Moon's melodic voice reached your ears. You turned to him, smiling as he held out a plate of your favorite cookies, giving you the softest smile as you took one. "We know you've been working so hard lately, and sometimes it's hard to take care of yourself on top of it all."
Sun moved you to the couch and pulled you gently into his lap, pressing little kisses to your forehead. "You've been doing such a good job, daffodil! We're so so proud of you, aren't we, Moonie?"
The lunar bot sat beside him, setting the plate on the coffee table as he chuckled and nodded, moving his hand to gently rub your back. "We are, little nightingale. You're doing a wonderful job, taking care of yourself." He leaned over, pressing a kiss to your temple.
You melted into Sun, smiling over at Moon as you gently reached for him, wanting to snuggle both of your loves. "Come here, Moon Pie."
At your words, he leaned even closer, snuggling both you and the solar bot. You cuddled them both close, peppering their faceplates in kisses, which they eagerly returned.
You felt light as a feather in their arms, listening to their purrs and praises, feeling like you could take on the world.
Just as long as they were there to hold you and smother you in kisses at the end of the day.
