Summary
The prison dimension was cold and dark. Debris everywhere. There were always things to be wary of, from broken ships to crumbling buildings. The Kraang could be hiding in anything. Despite the contrast in the bleak gray, the bright red lights of the creature's armor were hard to spot. Leo never had a chance to relax.
He wasn't sure what to really expect; he knew this would happen. He honestly wanted it to. Better him than his brothers, right?
He tried to suppress his memories of them. It made it that much harder to live- well, survive- in this desolate hell. He wondered if they moved on frequently. Had they made him a grave? Had they cleaned out his room?
His thoughts always circled back to them, no matter how hard he tried. It hurt to think about them.Series

Summary
After N's bodyguard is fired for failing to protect the prince from some village ruffians, Queen Tessa hires a new one. Uzi Doorman was at the top of her class, exceeding all expectations and surpassing every record. She'd be perfect for N as a loyal, persistent, and stubborn individual.
Over time, N finds that beneath Uzi's tough exterior was a nerdy and dorky scene kid who loved anime. Uzi discovers that N is more than his status as prince, learning that they aren't so different, after all.
Any blossoming affection between the two would need to be extinguished immediately; they couldn't love even if they wanted to.

Nightmares were a common occurrence for Shadow. Every time he slept, he'd have nasty dreams. Sometimes, he could distinguish if they were fictive or reality, but most times, he couldn't. Those ones scared him the most.
For the first time in a long time, Shadow finally sees someone else in Maria's place the day she died.
A flash of blue quills, emerald eyes, and a grossly high-pitched squeal of pain. (He knew Maria didn't make that sound, and he didn't want to put a name to the figure) (though he knew who it was, and it was glaringly obvious (sometimes ignorance is bliss.))
Shadow did not want to admit this to anyone. It's hard to avoid looking like he'd seen a ghost every time Sonic would cross his path.
Eventually, Sonic would find out, and force Shadow to talk about it. (he dreaded the day and prayed it'd never come).

Her boots make a heavy sound on the stone, your flats tapping softer just moments after. You have to look up to meet her eyes as you lean forward just barely, keeping the momentum of the dance, syncing your movements.
“See, you’re doing so well.” You say softly, breath fogging in the air between your bodies.
