It was until another hour had passed that Alhaitham finally broke, his focus completely and utterly shattered. His chest had begun feeling sore and just touching it made him flinch in sensitivity.
“Just what is going on?” He wondered if it was just his imagination that his pectorals appeared to be bigger than before. They also seemed to be heavier, as Alhaitham stood up and felt his balance being thrown off. Frowning in confusion, he packed up the papers on his desk and decided to head home for the day to rest.
