My Sister’s Boyfriend

Summary:

Alec Lightwood is a mess. He works in retail and he hates it, he owns a pride flag and his parents hate it, he hates Christmas and it’s coming. His life could not be any worse than this.
Or so he thinks.
From Richmond, where his sister studies at college, she comes back for the holidays with her brand new dazzling boyfriend, Magnus Bane.
For Alec watching him is like being hit by a racing truck and he finds himself wanting something he is not supposed to have and he is not supposed to crave.
Will he survive the holidays with Magnus’ presence in the house, knowing he is destined to look and not to touch? How does it feel to want so bad something that could destroy someone you love?

Here I am!

Back with another malec story 🔥

A little premise because I need to clarify a few things before starting.

First things first: the story is already completed and I’ll post a chapter every two days, starting the day after tomorrow with the first one. It has twelve chapters, so I should finish posting it on December 24th, for Christmas Eve. Yay!

Second: in this story you’ll find an Alec a little different from the one you’ve read in the books. He is not seventeen anymore, he’s in his twenties and out with his parents (who do not accept him, we know how Robert and Maryse used to get). He’s into mundane stuff, since it’s a human!AU so you’ll find pop references and also his style is a little more extra than in the books because mundane Alec would be more stylish, or at least that’s my take . He wears nail polish, for example.

Third: English is not my mother tongue, there could be errors. I’m sorry about that! Be kind and if you want to make me improve and correct politely it’s okay, but please do not be rude. I am trying very hard on this.

I am posting this premise because I wanted to be clear with the previous explanations and I didn’t want an author’s note too long, and to give everyone the possibility to turn on a bookmark for when the story will start to be posted, in two days.

Little fun fact: the story will be set in Minnesota, USA, and Magnus comes from Texas, also USA. He will therefore be very cold all the time and very covered up in many layers of clothing, lol. Wonder if some darling boy would take them off?

Now that I said what I wanted to say, buckle up because it’s gonna be a wild ride!
