   Summary

   You follow a lawyer who specializes in the supernatural. Vampiric feuds, werewolf territorial battles, centuries-old prenups, unambiguous purchase orders with the fae, airtight demonic contracts. Nephilim who need some help escaping or going around the law. One day a case file ends up on his desk with a last name he knows a bit too well.

   The lawyer has not only helped John with the research of past cases, but he has also had a few too many run ins with those who wish him dead. One of these instances resulted in a favor owed to the Winchesters, which is passed down to the boys. (This is still a john Winchester hate bandwagon, so he gets 0 sympathy).
