It was middle evening and Bakugou was going back to the dorms after training, all the extras were at the mall, shopping, but he couldn't take a break, no when he was at the top 3, with Deku and Todoroki, in that position the only thing left was to fall and he couldn't let his guard down, that and he wasn't ready to stand the extras for an entire evening, classes and time at the dorm was enough for him, the blonde however was highly surprised to find Deku at the dorm, the green-haired boy was curled up on the sofa hugging an All Might plushie tightly to his chest, he looked tense like he was in some sort of pain, and Bakugou wondered if he was sick or maybe homesick, in other circumstances he couldn't care less but now he couldn't help but worry about the nerd.
"Oi Deku..." He said. "What are you doing here?"
"I live here Kaachan..." He simply said. "So do you..."
"I know damn it! He said rather loud. "I just tough you would go with the extras"
"Didn't feel like going out" he said.
"Are you sick or what?" He asked. "If you're sick you should go to your room and stop spreading germs nerd"
"I'm no sick okay!" He snapped. "Mind your own business and leave me alone! I've had enough shit today..."
Bakugou stayed in place and just looked at Deku, kind, bleeding heart and well mannered Deku who just snapped at him and cursed in front of him all in the same line...
"What?" Deku said. "I got something on my face?"
"You just cursed" Bakugou said.
"Well sorry Kaachan if I wasn't in so much pain I would have filtered my words so I would sound more like me and less like you..."
"Pain? What do you mean?" Bakugou asked suddenly frowning.
"Just pain Kachaan" he said "It sounds simple right? Sometimes I just want to be quirkless again I'll be a loser but at least I wouldn't have to deal with this..."
"It's because of your quirk?" Bakugou asked as he sat next to him.
"That and the fact that I broke all of my finger wich was also because of my quirk" Deku said while he closed his eyes, he looked tired.
"You have to talk with Aizawa sensei" Bakugou said.
Deku sneered.
"I already did, I also talked with Recovery Girl and two more doctors and All Might" he said. "There's no cure for this pain...it's chronic"
"So all you do it's sit a wait it out?!" Bakugou screamed making Deku wince. "Sorry nerd...it's just.."
"Yeah I know" Deku said moving his hand to a more comfortable position. "I take meds that make it better... sometimes cold or hot also helps... I do excercises...But some days nothing works"
"Like today..." Bakugou said, Deku nodded breathing hard.
"Sorry I snapped at you" The Green haired boy said. "It's just hurts and it's making me angry..."
"Is not your fault" Bakugou said. "You just can't control it"
Before either of them could keep talking Bakugou's phone started ringing and the blonde answered, talking quickly and a minute later he hung up...
"It was Kaminari" the blonde said. "He and the extras are going to stay at Momo's house"
"At least they're having fun" Deku said. "After the things that happened they deserve it"
"You deserve it too nerd" Bakugou suddenly said. "I know it's no probably the best moment for something like this but...I'm sorry"
"Why are you sorry for?" Deku asked. "There's no reason for you to be sorry"
"Of course it is!" He said. "I was a jerk to you, I said dumb shit to you and I'm sorry ok?"
"Are you doing this just because I'm pain?"
"What the fuck Deku?!" He exclamed angrily. "We're having a moment here!"
"I was kidding" he said laughing softly. "I know what you're talking about and I know you didn't meant it, now that I think about it...we were both stupids, being a hero without having a quirk, what I was thinking?"
"You had dreams" Bakugou said. "That was okay...I used to think you were an obstacle on my way but the only obstacle I had was myself so...I'm sorry Izuku"
"I forgive you Kaachan but...please call me Deku"
"Alright Deku is there another thing that works for the pain?" The blonde asked.
"A distraction..." He said. "If I'm doing something like reading or watching movie I can just focus on that and not on the pain, it's not ideal but..."
"Good, let me change and we'll watch that new movie Kaminari downloaded from that pirate place"
Bakugou bathed quickly and changed into his black tank top and all might matching pants, while Deku closed his eyes and just waited, no more than a few minutes later, the blonde came and sat besides Deku throwing his huge blanket over the both of them, he turned on the tv and the dvd...
"Can I do something?" He asked as he took Izuku hands in his.
"Yeah" Deku said. "Nothing could possibly make this worse..."
Bakugou warmed his hands using his quirk and began massaging Deku's crooked fingers, then he moved onto his palms and went even to his wrist, the green haired boy sagged against Bakugou all tension leaving his body, his muscular demeanor becoming putty in the blonde's hands...he hadn't feel this good in while, wich made him think about how lucky he had been, he had friends, he had his mom, he had Kaachan now too...oh shit he was going to cry...
"Oi Deku!" Bakugou said. "You're heavy you dumbass!"
"Sorry..." He said in wavery voice "It's just I've never been this good before..."
"So this is working..."
"Yeah..." He said his waterfalls opening. "It's good"
"Oi! Don't start crying!" Bakugou said quickly, he couldn't stand watching Izuku cry anymore. "Wanna know where I learn to do this?"
"Where...?" Deku asked more composed.
"My mom did a manicurist course" Bakugou said. "So she made nails and massage hands...she practiced with me...this was the only shit I enjoyed so I asked her to teach me how to do it"
"So you're a manicurist now Kaachan?" Deku asked innocently.
"If you tell someone I swear Deku!"
"I'm not gonna tell anyone Kaachan" the green haired boy said laughing softly. "You know about OFA so we're even"
They stayed in silence, Bakugou massaging Deku's hands while screams of terror and monsters rang in the background, it was pretty bad horror movie but at least the nerd was feeling better and Bakugou was relaxing as well, if he closed his eyes they both were four again, in Deku living room watching All Might cartoons because the green eyed couldn't sleep, he was afraid of the dark back then so he used to wake Bakugou up and watch tv after they stole some cookies from the kitchen...
"You can ask for...you know" Bakugou said after a while.
"Ask for what?" Deku said.
"For help shitty nerd"
"I know" Izuku said.
"Really nerd" Bakugou said. "If you're in pain you can tell me and the extras...we'll help you okay?"
"Thanks Kaachan" Izuku said. "Can we watch the movie now?"
"Meh...another stupid horror movie!" Bakugou said pissed off.
"Yeah but I think if MC would control his emotions the ending could be...better? I wonder..."
"If I was there I would blow those people to death..." Bakugou said with a smirk.
"You're a hero Kaachan you can't just blow people to death" Deku said.
"Pffff! Of course I can!"
