"Hey Lu, who do you love more, me or Mr. Pumpkin Pie?" Law asked as they waited near the exit for the rest of the group to get back from apple picking, her voice dripping with disdain as she said the name Luffy had given the pumpkin. Why they’d needed to name it anyway was a mystery.
Scrunching her face up (rather cutely Law thought), Luffy seemed to really think about the question. It took everything in Law to not tap her boots as she waited for an answer. It didn't seem like a hard question, they'd been dating for almost a year and Luffy had just picked the pumpkin an hour ago.
"I don't know, Torao,” Luffy started finally, “Sanji said he was gonna turn Mr. Pumpkin Pie into food just for me, that's pretty awesome!"
Law grit her teeth. "Luffy, I swear to the seas—" Her cursing was stopped by Luffy's sweet laugh.
"Shishishi, you're so silly, Law. Of course I love you more," she stated, grabbing Law's hand and pulling her in to pepper kisses across her face.
Only when Law was giggling from the sensation and all the lip smacking noises did Luffy pull back. She couldn’t get very far when Law was holding onto her flannel, but that didn’t seem to bug her so Law let herself enjoy the soft fabric as Luffy smiled up at her.
"No matter what Mr. Pie turns into, you'll be a thousand percent sweeter, Torao."
"Luffy!" Law exclaimed, trying not to flush at how sincere her girlfriend sounded. She was pretty sure it wasn't working because Luffy's smile just got bigger as her eyes roamed Law’s face, studying her reaction.
"You're so cute, getting jealous over a little pumpkin."
"I wasn't jealous!!"
