   Summary

   Emma tugs on her necklace, the star of david which is loosely on her neck all the time, lightly so it doesn’t hurt on the back of her neck or risks breaking it, but it does make her lean close like Emma wants her to, while her heart is thudding behind its cage. Then, Emma grins down at her like she’s enjoying this situation where she’s having control over it and Kate feels like she’s just stuck in this moment. She toys with her necklace between her thumb and forefinger and it looks like she’s considering what she wants to do with her. So, Kate waits until she makes up her mind and it’s like she’s satisfied with her response that Emma tugs on it once more and leans down to kiss her.
