Chapter Text

Leo and Usagi were on a rooftop, star gazing while cuddling. Usagi's soft furry head snuggled into the crook of Leo's neck.

Usagi sighed happily. "Thank you, Leonardo," he says.

"What for?" Leo asks, brushing his hands along the back of Usagi's soft head.

"For helping me, I guess," Usagi says. "I don't know why, but whenever I'm with you, I can think clearly. I can feel as if...I'm wanted, more than I usually am, at least."

Leo chuckles as he gives Usagi a small peck on the cheek. "Probably because when you're away from me, you can't see my good looks," He joked, earning a playful punch from the rabbit.

"Shut up!" Usagi said, blushing lightly.

"Fineee," Leo groaned. "Let's just head back to the lair."

He and Usagi came back to the lair, to find Donnie, Raph, Mikey, April, Sunita, Casey Jr, Draxum, Cassandra, Gen, Chizu, and Kitsune, all there with party hats on.

"What's going on?" Asked Usagi.

"Did you guys forget?" Chizu asked. "It's your 2 month dating anniversary."

"Well, yes, we knew that," Leo said. "But you didn't have to throw a party,"

"Well, we, minus Donnie and April, only found out about you guys a month ago, so we wanted to make you feel special," Raph said.

Usagi looked at Leo, and Leo looked at Usagi, they both smiled slyly and started making puns and flirting, hoping to get the others to leave them alone. The others left when the flirting got way too annoying to deal with. 

Leo and Usagi laughed and went to Leo's room. 

"Hold on, I have something for you, it's in Donnie's lab, let me go get it," Leo said.

As he walked into Donnie's lab, he saw Donnie on his computer. "Hey, bro, where did you put Usagi's gift?" Leo asked.

"It should be over on that table with the glowing liquid. Don't touch the liquid, Leo." Donnie answered.

Leo looked over and saw the box, wrapped up, next to the liquid. Leo picked up the present, but thanks to his clumsy self, he knocked over the liquid and it spilled on him by mistake.

He started to scream in pain. Donnie immediately ran over to Leo and saw what he had done.

Usagi heard the screaming and ran into the lab, to see his boyfriend on the floor. Soon everyone else ran into the room and saw what was happening, Leo's magic was leaving his body, as he was screaming. When the last flow of mystic energy disappeared, Leo passed out.

"Sensei, I think he's coming too!" a voice said.

"Very good, thank you, Donatello," a calmer voice spoke.

"Dudes, is Leo dead? Can I drive the Shell Razor now?" An energetic voice asked.

"Are you serious, Mikey?" Asked an annoyed, raspy voice.

Leo's eyes snapped open, and he sat up quickly. "Owww," He groaned, holding his head. "I can see why I wasn't supposed to touch the liquid now, Donnie."

"What liquid?" An unfamiliar voice spoke. 

Leo looked up and saw four mutants staring at him.

"Oh my gosh, who are you, and why do you look like my brothers, only..." He paused. "Different at the same time..."

"Well," said the Raph clone. "It looks like Leo finally lost it, we can't have a leader who has brain damage. I'll happily take over."

"No, no, no," Leo said. "Remember our agreement Raph? After the Krang attack, we agreed that you would be in charge again if I was absent from the team for a reason."

"Umm...What?" Raph said, confused.

"Anyway, come on, let's do our patrol," Leo said as he took out one of his katanas and waved it in a circle. Nothing happened. "What the-? What happened to my Himato Ninpo?" He whispered to himself.

"Dudes, what's Leo doing?" Asked the Mikey clone.

"I'm not exactly sure," said Splinter. "I will talk to-"

"WHY WON'T MY SWORDS WORK??" Asked Leo.

"My Son, I do not seem to understand what the problem is." Splinter said, walking over to Leonardo.

Once again, Leo tried to open a portal, one more time, and, once again, it didn’t work.

“What is going on?!” Leo screamed. “Why won’t it work?!”

“Uhh…Leo? Can you please step into my lab? I need to make sure you don’t have brain damage, you’re acting really weird…” Asked rip-off Donnie.

“I’m fine, you rip off Donnie, now leave me alone, while I try to find out why my Hamato Ninpo won’t work.”

“What’s Hematu Nenpoo?” Asked the knock off Mikey.

“Hamato Ninpo is our family’s ancient technique, it’s how we defeated the Shredder, remember?” Asked Leo. “Gram-Gram fused with April, and they trained us, we met Cassandra, and blah, blah, blah,”

“My Son,” The tall Splinter said.” Please check Leonardo, I’m getting worried.”

“Yes Sensei,” Knock off Donnie said.

“Hey! No! I’m perfectly fine! Get away from me!” Leo said, throwing his sword.

“Dudes…I think Leo’s trying to kill us!” Mikey said as he dodged the sword. “He’s a Kraang droid!”

‘Krang? No, no, no! We beat the Krang!’ Leo panicked. ‘I-I need to get away from here!’

Leo ran across the room, grabbed his sword, and tried to run away, however, the rip off of his father grabbed him, and brought him to knock off Donnie’s lab.

“Let me go!” Leo screamed. “The Krang are gonna find me! They’re gonna get me!”

“Oh my god,” Rip off Raph said. “Leo’s going crazy.”

“It’s probably brain damage or a concussion,” Knock off Donnie said.

Leo started getting tired, he wanted his brothers, his real brothers, he wanted his boyfriend, he wanted this to be a dream, he wanted to wake up next to Yuichi, and cuddle into his soft fur, he wanted to text the Blue Crew and Randy, he wanted to go home.

The last thing he saw as he fell asleep was the knock offs staring at him, with a worried look in their eyes.

When Leo woke up, all he could see was a bright light.

He groaned as he sat up, looking around. He was still here, in this weird place, but why did it look so- wait, this was the place that Donnie had on his conspiracy board! Holy shit, he was in another dimension! That explains why everything looks so different! He got up off of the medical bed and walked into the living room, where an episode of Victorious had just come on.

“Hey, guys!” Leo said. “Sorry about yesterday, I don’t know what came over me,” he nervously laughed.

“It’s okay Leo,” This world’s Donnie said. “But you might want to rest for a while, you have a concussion.”

“I know wiseass, I’m not the team medic for nothing, I’ve had one for months,” Leo said before he threw his hand over his mouth.

“Did Leo just-“ 

“Shh! The Victorious theme song is coming on!” Leo said as he hopped over the couch.

“ Here I am, once again, feeling lost but now and then, I breathe it in to let it go, and you don't know where you are now, or what it would come to if only somebody could hear. When you figure out how you're lost in the moment, you disappear! ”

Leo started singing along, “‘You don’t have to be afraid to put your dream in action! You’re never gonna fade, you'll be the main attraction!’”

The other turtles looked at him confused, since when did Leo watch Victorious? April, Casey, and Splinter walked into the living room, wondering why there was so much noise, but as soon as they saw Leo, they stopped in their tracks.

Leo had gotten up, and started to dance as he sang. “Not a fantasy, just remember me, when it turns out right!” Leo sang, completely oblivious to the stares he was getting. “Cause you know that if you live in your imagination, tomorrow you’ll be everybody’s fascination! In my victory, just remember me, when I make it shine!”

“What the shell was that?!” Asked Raph. “Since when did you watch Victorious, and since when could you sing?!”

“Excuse you, I, Hamato Leonardo, love the Victorious theme song, as well as Ariana Grande, she is the only reason I watch the show, and I’ve always been able to sing, the rise fandom thinks I’m a great singer!” Leo said with a wink. 

“Oh my god! Leo likes Victorious! Don’t you know that’s a girl show?” Asked this world’s Casey, while laughing.

Leo turned to him. ‘Ah, this must be  this world’s version of either Cass or Junior.’ Leo thought as he walked over. “Look kid, nothing is a girl thing or a boy thing,” Leo told Casey. “Personally, I don’t care if you’re a boy, a girl, or a fucking unicorn, everyone is allowed to like and/or be who/what they want, I mean unless it’s against the law or something that could hurt you or put you at risk for something bad.” Everyone was staring at Leo again, only this time he noticed. “What?”

“Since when did you care about gender equality that much?” Asked Mikey. “If someone brings that up, you usually say something simple like ‘stop’, or you do nothing and do what Master Splinter does.”

“I’m trying not to go all Tik Tok trend on you and sing that modern feminism song, which slaps by the way, but it’s really hard.” Leo laughed. “Girl, boy, and/or anything in between, anyone can do anything, and that’s the cold hard truth, I mean, take a look at moi!” Leo said, doing the infamous mask tail flip, the sparkles appearing obviously.

“What about you? Why are you using yourself as an example?” Asked this world's version of April.

“Oh, so that’s who she is? Thanks, author! Anyway, it doesn’t matter, we gotta go on patrol.” 

“Wha??”

“Leggo!” Leo said, dragging this world's version of his brothers to the exit of the lair.

“Other way, Lame-onardo,” Raph said.

“Thats the best you could come up with?” Leo asked. “Thats just sad, come on April and Junior, we’re going.” He called out, as he turned around towards the real exit.

“Junior…?” April asks Casey.

“I don’t know,” Casey said shrugging.

“There’s something up with Leo, and I’m determined to get to the bottom of it.”

“Are you sure it’s not because of his concussion?” Casey asked

“No…” April answered. “Because his aura is completely different, I can’t put my finger on it, but It’s as if there's something locked inside of him…something potentially dangerous.”

“Wait what?” Casey asked. “Then I guess we’re gonna have to keep a close eye on him then and make sure that his ‘locked’ thing, doesn’t unlock.”

“Agreed,” Splinter said from behind them. “You two should go, if there's something dangerous in Leonardo, I want you two to make sure the others don’t get hurt.”

“Yes, Sensei.” The two humans said as they left to go after the turtles.

Chapter Text

Patrol was going fine, however, New York was extremely dark, which Leo found surprising. Wasn’t New York supposed to be the city that never sleeps?

“Hey, fearless,” Raph said sarcastically. “I see something.”

Leo walked over to where Raph was and looked down. Two identical men were hauling a big tube into a truck.

‘Dammit!’ Leo thought. ‘I can’t use my Hamato Ninpo thanks to Donnie’s stupid mystic drugs!’

“Why do the Kraang want that big tube?” Asked Mikey.

The Krang?!

“I don’t know Mikey,” said Donnie. “But whatever they’re using it for, it’s not gonna be good.”

April and Casey came over to where the turtles were.

“Hey, me and Red just got here, so could you fill us in?” Asked Casey.

“The Kraang have a big tube in a truck,” Raph said. “Now what’s the plan, oh great one.” He turned to Leo, who was frozen in place.

“Don’t die.” Was all Leo said.

“What?” Asked April. “Leo, the Kraang can’t kill you that easily, and besides, I can protect us, I’m part Kraang, remember?”

Leo snapped his head towards her. “Y-you’re a Krang?” He asked, feeling his mystic energy coursing through his veins.

“Yeah, not fully a Kraang, but I’ve got Kraang DNA,” April said, 

“Leo, you knew that,” Donnie said.

“Yeah, dude!”

“S-she’s a part of the Krang, and you’ve let her hang around with us? ” Leo growled, feeling the same level of anger he had at Casey Jr when Raph got captured.

“Hey, what’s going on over here?” Asked a voice. A teenage girl jumped down from the shadows and onto the roof of the building.

“Oh, hey Karai!” April said, thankful to get away from Leo’s rising anger.

Leo blinked. “Gram-Gram…?”

“Who? Is Blue okay?”

“We’re trying to figure that out,” Donnie said. “Now, please go, we don’t want you here at the moment.”

“Or any moment!” Mikey added.

“We, the ones known as the Kraang, hear the ones known as the turtles, talking on what is called the roof.”

“They found us,” Leo said, unsheathing his Katanas. There were only two things on his mind, 1, don’t get captured, and 2, protect his family, even if they were from another universe. 

“Leo…?” Raph asked. “What’s the plan?”

“Fight these bitches and survive,” Leo said, as he jumped down, and slashed the Kraangs metal body with his katana.

The others exchanged looks, and all but Karai jumped down to help Leo.

“I don’t know when you started swearing Leo,” said Donnie. “But don’t you think you're overdoing it?”

“Damn, never thought I’d hear that from a Donnie, lmao!” Leo said as he threw one of his katanas into a Kraang droid that was sneaking up behind Mikey.

"Dude, did you just say 'LMAO' as a word?" Asked Mikey

"And since when did you throw your weapons?" Asked Donnie

“Hey! Let me go, you disgusting bitch!” A voice yelled.

Everyone looked over to see Raph being held down by two Kraang droids. Everyone but Leo rushed over but was held back by more Kraang droids, even April couldn’t beat them.

Leo just stood there, the memory of his Raphs shell being pierced through by the Krang, flowing through his mind. This very moment reminded him of when the Krang invaded. He remembered how powerless he was as he took the key, how powerless he was when he put Mikey, Donnie, and Casey Jr in danger, and how powerless he was when Raph had turned into a Krang monster.

Once again, Leo was powerless, and he didn’t know what to do until he heard, “Help me!”

Leo snapped out of his thoughts when he saw Raph being dragged into the Kraang van.

“Hey! Uglies!” He shouted as his body started to glow. “Who the fuck do you think you are?”

Everyone stopped in their tracks and just stared at Leo. 

“I wanna let you know something, if there's one thing you shouldn’t do,” Leo started. “It’s, do not mess with Leonardo Blue Hamato-Draxum .” There was a bright flash.

When the flash died down, and everyone could see clearly, their eyes widened at the sight of Leonardo. He was back in his original body, his markings glowing, and he had a menacing grin on his face.

“Surprise Mother Fucker!”

Leo was on a medical bed, unconscious and unmoving.

Donnie and Usagi were sitting by him.

“So…uhh…can I let you know something? It’s pretty important…” Donnie asked nervously.

“Sure, what’s up?” Asked Usagi.

“So…when Leo wakes up, he might act a little different…”

“How different?” A serious look came over Usagi’s face.

“Uhh…well you see, my beautiful genius self, made a special liquid using mystic energy. It was supposed to be able to send us to other dimensions, but after testing it, it gives you amnesia for a while, but then you get your memories back.”

“And who or what did you test it on?” Asked Usagi.

“Draxum, he said he didn’t care, so I tested it on him.”

“I can’t believe you and Leo are related sometimes.” Usagi said. “You guys are so different.”

“What? Did Leo not tell you that Draxum threw him off a roof? Leo would have loved to do this with me, but I wanted it to be a surprise.”

“Excuse me for a second.” The rabbit said as he got up, and left the room.

A groan came from the med bed, as Leo slowly opened his eyes.

“What the? Where am I?”

“Greetings dear brother, I apologize for the liquid, even though it wasn’t my fault,” Donnie said sarcastically.

“Who are you?! Why do you look like Donnie?!” Asked “Leo”.

“Hmm…looks like the liquid affects people differently…” Donnie mumbled, as he pulled down his conspiracy/observation board.

Leo’s eyes scanned the board, before his eyes stopped on a picture.

“Hey, that’s a picture of me and my family! Why do you have that?” Leo said, trying to stand up off of the med bed.

“Wait…did my mystic liquid…make you and Nardo switch bodies?!” Donnie squealed. “Omigosh this is amazing! I knew alternate universes were real!”

“ That’s what you're focused on?!” Screamed Leo. “Get me back to my brothers!”

“Ooo, Mr. Bossy is trying to get me to do something? Have you no manners?” Donnie said dramatically.

Leo sighed. “I’m sorry, but if you were in this situation, you’d understand why I’m so paranoid.”

“And why is that?” Asked Donnie.

“Are you- What do- Did you- Look kid, if your version of me is with my brothers, he doesn’t stand a chance. One slip up, and they’ll attack him.”

“I don’t know if you have this in your universe but in our universe we have myst-“

“Donnie! Is Leo awake?” Asked Mikey.

“Yes, Angelo, but this isn’t the Leo we know and may/maybe not love.”

“What do you mean? He looks the same to me,” Mikey beamed proudly.

“Wait, wait, wait! That’s Mikey?! ” Yelled Leo.

“Yes…? Did that liquid do something to your head to make you go coo-coo crazy?” Asked the orange box turtle.

“Sigh. Mikey, this is Leo from another universe, we need to get him and Leo back in their own bodies, and then get Leo to portal back here if available. Please don’t tell anyone about this, especially Usagi.” Donnie said, unaware of the rabbit that was behind them.

“What about me?” Asked the rabbit, who startled Donnie.

“Holy shit, you just gave me a heart attack you bitch!” Donnie yelled.

“Shut the fuck up, I heard you, my boyfriend is in another fucking dimension, and you wanted to keep this a secret from me?!” Usage yelled.

“Hold on, boyfriend ?!” Asked Leo. “Other me has a boyfriend?! That’s cool!”

“Thank you,” Said Usagi. “Now listen here you soft shit turtle, we are going to get my boyfriend back, and get this version of him home.”

An orange glow flashed. The two looked over at Mikey, who was using his mystic powers to try and bring Leo back into his own body.

“H-hey guys? I think something is happening to our Leo as well, because this is going surprisingly well according to the books Draxum made me read.”

Leo was staring at Mikey, before looking over at Donnie and Usagi.

“ How are you guys so calm ?!” He asked.

“Well that answers my mystic powers question.” Said Donnie, using a sticky note to write it down.

“ MYSTIC POWERS?! ” Leo screamed, as his entire body glowed blue before he changed back into his regular body.

Mikey wobbled on his feet. “That took a lot out of me,” he panted. “Someone catch me.” He said, just before he passed out.

Luckily, Leo was quick on his feet, and caught Mikey before he fell on the ground.

“Okay…” Said Donnie. “So how are we going to explain this to our dearest papá?”

“I already know, purple.” An angry voice came from the lab entrance. Donnie and Usagi turned around to see everyone staring into the lab.

“Well shit.” Usagi said, face palming.

Chapter Text

“Surprise Mother Fucker.” Leo spat, as his markings started to glow.

“Leo…?” Donnie asked, stepping closer.

“Not now Donnie.” Leo snarled, not taking his eyes off the Kraag.

“The turtle known as the blue turtle has turned into the turtle known as the glowing turtle.” The Kraang said.

“This is starting to piss me off, can you guys speak normally?!” Leo asked, highly annoyed.

“The ones known as the Kraang speak in what is known as-“ They were cut off when Leo threw his sword.

Leo grinned even wider, if that was possible, and teleported to where his sword had landed. April, Casey, the Turtles, and Karai, who was watching from the rooftops, stared in shock.

The Kraang, who were startled at Leo’s teleporting act, let go of Raph and started to try and fight Leo.

Raph regrouped with the others, and they all watched in pure shock and amazement at what was happening. Light blue flashes everywhere, with hints of green and a little red.

“T-that’s scientifically impossible…” Donnie said. “There’s no way Leo should be able to do that.”

“And how did he change his appearance?” Mikey asked. “I wanna do that!”

“That’s not Leo.” April said, having heads turned her way. “I already told Casey this, but Leo’s aura is completely different, and it felt like there was a part of his soul that was locked up. When I try to find that now, all I feel is a burst of strong energy.” She explained.

“So…that’s not Leo?” Asked Mikey.

“Forget that!” Raph yelled. “Why didn’t you two tell us?! That’s our brother for crying out loud!”

They heard a clunk and turned their heads around to the horror that surrounded Leo.

Kraang blood pooled around dead Kraang corpses. And Leo was covered in sweat and Kraang blood, still grinning, and starting to laugh.

“That’s what you get you shit bags!” He laughed. “Don’t ever come near me and my family, ever again. ” He growled, before taking a deep breath. His marks started to go back to normal too, losing their glow, as Leo calmed down.

“What the hell was that?? Who are you and what did you do with Leo?!” Yelled Raph.

“Relax buddy,” Leo said. “Don’t get so red in the face, I don’t wanna feel the Raph of anger that’s building up.” He laughed at his own puns.

“Dude, that was terrible, and that’s coming from me.” Mikey said, earning an elbow shove from Donnie.

“Okay, okay, I’ll explain everything, but I’m surprised I stayed in my actual body, it’s wei- oh my god, Michael used his mystic powers again, he must have used them to give the Leo of this world back his body, and while I was using my Ninpo, that’s why I didn’t go back to this world's version of me’s body.” Leo rambled, getting weird looks. “What? When your twin is a quote unquote “genius”, you pick up on a few things.”

“So…who exactly are you?” Asked Casey.

“I said earlier, Leonardo “Blue” Hamato-Draxum,” Leo said, flicking his hand into the ‘limp wrist’ position. “The gayest, and handsomest turtle ever.”

“‘Handsomest’ isn’t a word.” Donnie said, not noticing Casey staring at him.

“Casey, that’s kinda gay,” Leo said trying not to laugh. “Damn, the Blue Crew, and Randy I guess, would love to see this, can I get a picture of you two kissing like the lovebirds you are?” Leo asked pointing at Donnie and Casey.

“W-what?! W-we aren’t a couple!” Donnie said in protest, as he felt heat rising to his cheeks.

“Y-yeah! I hate Donnie!” Casey said, desperately trying to let his blush show through his face paint.

“Mhm, sure, keep telling yourself that,” Leo said, looking at his nails, his blue nail polish was chipped from the fight from earlier. “Fuck! Does anyone have nail polish? Preferably an Electric Blue color? Mine got chipped.”

Mikey slowly raised his hand.

“Great! Thanks mi hermano de un universo diferente !” Leo said, walking over the Kraang corpses, to give Mikey a hug.

“Wha?? What does that mean?” Asked Mikey.

“My brother from a different universe…? Did I forget to say that my Donnie created these dumb mystic drugs that brought me here?”

“Sounds like something Donnie would do.” Raph said.

“Excuse me?” Asked Donnie.

“You’re excused.”

“You guys are weird, I like you…minus the hitting, you gotta stop that.” Leo crossed his arms and stared at Raph.

“How did you-“

“The Fourth Wall is meant to be broken! And yes, I’m aware that I said that to my Ben Schwartz buddies, but I don’t care.”

“I like this Leo!” Mikey said.

Chapter Text

The way home was…eventful.

Everyone refused to use Leon’s portal, so they went home on foot, after making Leon promise that he wouldn’t slaughter any more Kraang, but come on, we all know Leo didn’t mean that promise

“Shut up author, they may hear you,” Leo yelled at the author, which was rude, while jumping over the rooftops.

“Who are you talking to…?” Asked Donnie.

“The stupid author,” Leo said.

“Wha-?”

“Don’t question it.”

Mikey got closer to Raph.

“This Leo is cool, but he’s also weird, Leo would never do half of the things that this Leo does!” He said quietly.

“Yeah, but this version of Fearless is more laid back, and doesn’t yell at us,” Raph said. “I could live with this version of ‘em if I had to.”

“You guys do realize we have to get me home right?” Leo said from behind, startling them. “I’d rather go back to my dimension, and not stay here where there are…things,”

“Why did you kill the Kraang?” Asked Casey, who had just caught up.

Leo didn’t answer for a few seconds.

“…Because they’re pieces of shit that deserve to die after what they did,” Leo said. “I’d rather not talk about it.”

The rest of the way back to the sewers was silent, they wanted to ask Leo about the Kraang of his world, but they knew better.

Whatever the Kraang in this Leo’s dimension did, it-

“Author, can we stop talking about it?” Asked Leon.

The author, who was tired of Leon breaking the fourth wall, stopped talking about the movie and started a new paragraph.

The turtles finally arrived at the sewers and climbed down the ladder.

“So uhh…how do you think your dad will react?” Asked Leo.

“‘Dad’?” Asked Mikey. “We don’t call Master Splinter ‘dad’, dude.”

“Strike 2. Poor parental figure names.” Leo said. “One more strike, then you're out.” He chuckled

“Oh come on! There’s gotta be something wrong in your universe!” Raph growled.

“I mean…I have a son, even though I’m 16, so-“

“YOU HAVE A SON?!” Donnie screamed.

“Mhm, CJ, he came from the future to help prevent…” Leo trailed off for a bit, meanwhile, Casey was questioning if ‘CJ’ was him. “S-something that happened because of me, anywhizzle, even though Cassandra is his future mom, he saw me as a father figure, especially after Cass-“

“Who are you?” Splinter said, appearing out of the shadows.

“Pffft- good one author, just like the live-action movie! lmao!”

“Again with the LMAO stuff, dude, why do you say it like that? And who is ‘Author’?” Asked Mikey.

“Because I can!” Leo said, flipping his mask tails, once again, causing the sparkles to appear.

“This does not answer my question.” The rat said. “Who. Are. You.”

“Ur Mom,” Leo said, trying not to snicker.

Donnie sighed. “Sensei, this is Leonardo, he’s apparently from another dimension,” he explained.

“He’s also a pain in the ass!” Said Raph. “Not as much as fearless though.”

“He killed, like, ten Kraang bots!” Mikey said.

“He’s why I felt that strange feeling,” April explained.

“This is Leonardo,” the rat said, although it sounded more like a question.

“Indeed I am,” Leo said. “Team faceman, and newly appointed leader for about 2 years, after Pops ‘fired’ Raph from the role, because of the stress it put him under.”

“Wait, I was the leader?!” Raph asked. “Maybe I should hold a coup, and overthrow our Leo,” He grinned.

“Believe me, Raph, if my Raph couldn’t do it, I don’t think that you’d be able to, besides, he has a new job now. As the older brother, he looks out for us, even if we make it difficult…”

There was silence, but Donnie spoke up.

“Raph is the oldest?”

“OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!”

Rise-verse

Leo held out his hands, focusing on mystic energy, but nothing happened. He sighed.

“I’m never going to learn this, are you sure there’s mystic energy in me?” He asked.

“There has to be, you were in Nardo’s body, according to my readings, you absorbed some of his energy, and it has become your own.” Donnie said, writing something down on a sticky note.

“I don’t even know what mystic powers look like, or how to use them.” Leo complained.

“You’ve tried one of Angelo’s techniques, try one of Raph’s, just smash your fist’s together.”

Leo smashed his fists together, but nothing happened.

“I feel like I’m Donkey Kong or that gorilla from Tarzan.” He stated, rolling his eyes.

“Try our Leo’s technique, move a sword in a circle, and see how that goes.” Donnie said.

Leo grabbed a sword, and moved it in a circle.

Nothing happened.

“This is stupid, I don’t have mystic powers, I think that you’re wrong.” He said throwing the sword on the ground, not realizing that it was glowing.

“Think again, wise ass.” Donnie said, gesturing to the sword.

The sword exploded, causing a portal to be made. 

The portal dragged Leo, Donnie, and Usagi, who had just walked in, through it.

2012-verse

“Oh, for crying out loud!” Leo yelled. “Yes, now can we stop asking questions?”

There was a thud and a yelp in the living room, causing everyone to shut up.

Everyone but Leo, went into stealth mode, and started walking quietly to the living room. Leo, however, closed his eyes, and looked for a Ninpo link, sure enough, he found it.

Leo ran to the living room, to find his twin, boyfriend, and counterpart sitting on the concrete floor.

“Heya, Don Tron!” Leo said. “How’d you get here?”

“Your counterpart had some Ninpo in him, from being in your body,” Donnie said.

“So that’s how we got here? You were running your stupid experiments again?” Asked Usagi, who had stood up, and put his hand on his hip.

“Indeed I was, you dumbass rabbit,”

“You fucking take that back, Dorkatello!”

“Children, please,” Leo joked. “Stop arguing. Anywhizzle, who’s that?” He said, pointing to the other Leo, who was staring at him.

“Your counterpart.” Donnie said.

“Ah, no wonder he looks so fabulous! Girl, you slay!” Leo said, once again doing the limp wrist.

“‘Slay’?” Asked Raph?

Usagi, Donnie, and Leo started laughing.

“T-that’s Raph?” Asked Donnie.

“Not only is he short, the fact that he said ‘slay’ like that-“ Usagi laughed, as he started to cry. “This is the most hilarious thing in the world!”

The 2012 Turtles, humans, and Splinter looked at the twins and rabbit, as if they had 3 heads.

“I’m so confused…” April said.

“Wait!” Donnie said. “ That’s April?!”

The three started laughing harder.

“Yeah, that’s her,” Leo said.

“How could you live here for two days?” Asked Usagi.

“Two? But it’s been one I thought,”

“Hmm, maybe time goes by faster in our universe…” Donnie thought out loud. “It would make sense but-“

“Yeah, yeah, whatever mi hermano , now, let me introduce you to this world's version of us! Also sorry, mi amor, you don’t have a counterpart here.” Leo said.

“Never gonna get used to Leo speaking Spanish,” this world’s Donnie said.

“Ah, so that’s me?” Donnie asked. “I look like a nerd.”

“And that’s a bad thing?” Usagi asked, rolling his eyes. “You love being a nerd.”

“Shut up Bunny Boy.”

“How dare-“

“I’m sorry about them, mi familia de un universo diferente. ” Leo said. “Donnie is my over protective twin, and Usagi is my boyfriend, so they’re at each other’s throats all the time.” He smiled.

“Nardo, the adults are talking, go do this somewhere else.” Donnie said.

“Excuse me?”

“You’re excused.”

Leo looked over at Usagi, and smiled slyly, Usagi did the same. They both took out their mystic weapons.

“What’s the rabbit dude gonna do with a yo-yo?” Asked Mikey, who got an elbow shove from Raph.

“I’m sorry Donald, but you’re dead.” Leo said, as he and Usagi pounced on him, the three of them were now fighting each other.

This world’s Leo got up, and walked over to his family.

“Now as happy as I am to see you all, we need to figure out different nicknames.” Leo said.

“How about Leon and Don?” Casey offered.

“Sounds good to me!” Shouted Leon and Don, who were still fighting.

“Okay, now come on! Space Heroes is coming on soon!”

The twins and rabbit stopped their argument.

“Is that like Jupiter Jim?” Asked Leon.

“I would assume so,” Replied Leo. “If Jupiter Jim is a space adventure show,”

“Okay, fight on hold! Let’s watch this world's version of Jupiter Jim!” Said Leo quickly.

“Some things never change,” Said Raph, rolling his eyes.

“Like how I’m holding on tight to you!” Leo sang, as he grabbed his boyfriend and twin and dragged them to the TV.

“What?”

“Oh, I forgot you guys don’t have Frozen 2, yet, you might not have Frozen either, that’s sad, anywhizzle, lets watch Space Heroes!”

Space Heroes wasn’t exactly like Jupiter Jim, but it was still pretty interesting, and caught Leon, Don, and Usagi’s attention for about 24 minutes, until the show was over.

“Not as good as Jupiter Jim,” Don said.

“I thought it was pretty good!” Leon said.

“It was fine, it lacked a bit of common sense, and was predictable, but I could probably watch it again,” Said Usagi.

“Oh don’t sugarcoat it,” Raph said. “This show is fucking stupid.”

“Language.” Leo said.

“Jeez, other me is like another Raph.” Leon whispered to Don and Usagi.

April walked over to the three, and took Don by the arm, and dragged him over to a corner, clearly not noticing him flinch when she grabbed his arm.

“So,” she said, twirling her ponytail. “What’s your relationship with your April?”

“She’s a sister figure.” Don said, clearly annoyed. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to make sure a stupid rabbit doesn’t touch my brother.”

“So, you don’t have a crush on your April?”

“What?! Ew! No, besides, April is lesbian, and has a girlfriend.” Donnie said. “I also don’t have time for love at the current moment, I have so many projects, and I have to make sure that Bunny Boy over there doesn't touch my brother.”

“Wait!”

“ What?”

“What’s your opinion on Casey?”

“Which one? Cass or Junior?”

“There are two Casey’s?!”

“Yes, now leave me alone.” Don walked back to the couch, to find Leon and Usagi asleep. “Sigh. As much as I hate this, it’s rare that Leon sleeps, so I’ll leave it alone for now.”

“What do you mean?” Asked Donnie.

“Nardo is the family insomniac, it’s rare that he sleeps, especially so soundly after the invasion.” Donnie said, staring off into space.

“Invasion?” Asked Mikey.

“The Krang invasion that almost cost Leon, Raph, Mikey, April, Dad, Cass, Casey, and I our lives.” Said Donnie. “I should probably get to bed, goodnight.”

Everyone walked out of the living room, and into the kitchen.

“There was a Kraang invasion?” Asked Casey. “No wonder Leon was so paranoid earlier during that fight.”

“Wait, you let him fight?” Asked Leo.

“We didn’t know he was in your body and vice-versa, so we fought some Kraang droids, that was when we found out he wasn’t you.” Donnie explained,

“My sons,” Splinter said, walking into the room. “Why is there so much yelling?”

“Sorry Sensei,” Said Leo. “It’s just, we just learned something about Donnie and my counterparts,”

“And what is that?”

“There was a Kraang invasion in their world, which was why Leon was so scared earlier on patrol,” Raph said, rolling his eyes.

“There’s also apparently two Casey’s in their world as well.” April added. “‘Cass’ and ‘Junior’ as the other Donnie called them.”

“Hey, can you guys stop gossiping about them?” Asked Usagi from the doorway.

“How did you do that?” Asked Mikey.

“Do what?”

“Sneak up on us so quietly, you don’t look like a ninja.”

“Because I’m not?” Usagi said. “I’m a samurai, just like my ancestor, Miyamoto Usagi!”

“That name sounds familiar…” Splinter said, tapping his chin.

“Hmm, maybe I do have a counterpart here!”

“Can we get back to the fact that he’s a samurai?” Raph yelled.

“Shhh! If you wake up my boyfriend, you’re dead.” Usagi threatened. “And yes, while samurai usually hate ninjas, one of my best friends is an ex-ninja, and I’m dating a ninja, I’ve found that not all ninja are bad.”

“Dude! That’s so cool!” Mikey said.

“Thank you,” Usagi’s ears started moving. “Please excuse me, I have to help my boyfriend fall back to sleep.”

“That universe is interesting to say the least,” Said Donnie.

“It is, there was so much color, and New York was so bright, there was also a “hidden city”, from what that world’s Mikey said.” Leo explained. “They’re also really open about gender and sexual identity, if you couldn’t tell.”

Mikey and Casey nodded happily, which totally wasn’t sus at all.

“Shut up Author, we all know they’re in the LGBTQIA+ community, it’s pretty obvious.” Shouted Leon, from the other room.

“Leonardo “Blue” Hamato Draxum! Go to sleep!” Yelled Usagi.

“Should we be concerned about how much they do that?” Asked April. “And who is ‘Author’?”

“Just leave it, they’re probably doing that to mess with us,” Raph said. “Come on, let’s go to sleep.”

They all left, but April stayed behind. She wanted to ask a lot of questions, so without skipping a beat, she barged into the living room and started asking questions.

Chapter Text

April barged into the room, and started asking Don, Leon, and Usagi questions.

“What am I like?”, “Why are you so emo?”, “Why do you look different when you’re twins?”, “Is Mikey dumb where you live too?”, “Does Raph try to fight everyone?”, “What’s Casey and my relationship?”, and so on, and so forth.

Don, who was half asleep, flipped her off, and tried to fall back to sleep.

“Can we ask these in the morning?” Asked Leon. “I really want to try and sleep here,”

“What is your problem? I just asked simple questions!” April complained. “Do you not like me because I’m part Kraang?”

Leon, Don, and Usagi snapped their heads towards her.

“You dirty, low life, son of a bitch!” Don yelled, as he extended his battle shells arms at her.

April threw herself on the ground and smirked at the three, before starting to scream.

The two turtles and rabbit looked at her in disbelief.

“This is pathetic,” Usagi said, turning his attention to Leon, who had started shaking from April's Kraang outburst.

Four turtles came running in, with a Casey Jones and a Master Splinter with them.

April started fake crying and said, “Help me please, he’s trying to hurt me!”

“I’d prefer if you used they/them pronouns for me every once and a while.” Don said, retracting the arms inside his shell.

“Don’t waste your breath Don,” Leon said. “She’s not worth it.”

“I’m getting second hand embarrassment, please leave us alone,” Usagi said.

“All I did was ask questions, and you attacked me!” Yelled April.

“No,” Leon said, standing up, but still a little shaky. “You asked questions that were personal, while we were trying to sleep, and then you started accusing us of discrimination because you were part Krang!”

“I hope you get canceled on Twitter,” Don said emotionlessly, as he took out his phone.

Leon and Usagi started laughing.

“‘I hope you get canceled on Twitter’- Don 2022!” Leon said, before laughing harder, before realizing something. “Wait…I have my phone!”

“This is so confusing, what exactly happened, I want the truth.” Leo said.

“Bruh, we literally just told the truth,” Usagi said. “And we should probably go over pronouns soon,” he gestured to Don.

“We‘ll go over them later,” Splinter said. “What happened?”

“She was being a bitch and accusing us of hating on her because she was part Krang.” Don said as he shuddered. “When she said ‘Krang’, it caused me and Leon flashbacks, and I lashed out, which I apologize for, but I’d never hurt her at all, I’d never hurt a girl, unless it’s that disgusting female Krang, Big Mama, or Cassandra before she changed her ways.”

“Same thing for me, but only with the ninja against me and my friends.” Said Usagi. “Now can we go to sleep?”

“I’d like that,” Leon said as he sat back down, and snuggled into Usagi’s soft fur.

“But they were mean to me!” April complained.

“The only “mean” thing they did was acknowledge you.” Raph said. “I’m going to bed.”

“Me too,” Said Mikey. “Good night!”

Don waved as Mikey and Raph, before turning to the remaining 4, and April.

“Before the rest of you go, we should give you our pronouns.” He said. “I use He/They, leaning more towards They/Them, Nardo uses He/Him, and the stupid rabbit can answer for themselves.”

“I use He/Him pronouns.” Usagi said. “Now can we go to sleep?”

“Yes, that would be nice,” Splinter said. “I am sorry for the disturbance, good night.”

“Good night!” Usagi called.

When everyone, including April, had left, Don shot Usagi death glares.

“If you hurt him, you’re dead.” They said coldly.

“Yeah, yeah, good night.”

Don woke up to the smell of…fish and onions? They didn’t know why it smelled like that, but they intended to find out.

Getting up hurt their back. They hadn’t taken off their battle shell the night before, and now they were suffering the consequences. 

In their defense, they didn’t trust anyone in this universe except for Leo, and maybe Master Splinter. Possibly their counterpart, but definitely not Raph or April, especially not after the ‘Karen Stunt’ she had pulled the night before.

They didn’t want to admit it, but sometimes Usagi’s insults hurt their feelings, they knew that they probably hurt Usagi’s feelings at times, but it was to protect Leo…right?

The smell of fish became stronger as Don got closer to the kitchen. They could also hear humming as well.

Don walked into the kitchen to find Mikey surrounded by empty packages of gummy bears, gummy worms, raw fish, chocolate malt balls, graham crackers, and marshmallows. Don tried not to gag.

“Good morning, Angelo,” They said, trying to keep themself from becoming 'Vomitello'.

“Heya Don, sorry about last night, April is a little sensitive when it comes to her being part Kraang,” Mikey laughed nervously.

“Well she didn’t have to ask us sensitive questions either,” Don grumbled. “As well as wake up Nardo,”

“Why is it so bad if she wakes Leon up?” Asked Mikey

Don sighed. “Leon has insomnia, and when he does fall asleep, it’s usually not peaceful. A calm and peaceful sleep, like last night, it’s pretty rare, so when this happens, we don’t like to disturb him,”

“I see,” Said Master Splinter as he walked into the room. “Leonardo seems to have insomnia in your dimension as well,”

“I have it too, but it’s not as bad as his,” Don explained. “Yuichi helps him fall asleep though, but he still can’t be trusted.”

“Donatello,” Master Splinter said, placing his hand on Don’s arm, causing them to flinch at the touch. Master Splinter noticed this, and took his hand away, getting a thankful look from Don. “I’m sure you don’t have to be an overprotective sibling, your Leonardo is more than capable of protecting himself, from what my family has told me,”

Don moved away, they wanted to hit something, preferably the Krang, and maybe kill it? That would get their frustration out. The Krang was the real reason they were like this, they hurt them and their family, and because of that, they had to protect Leon, and make sure he never had to sacrifice himself again.

“Hey, guys! We’re awake! What’s going on?” Asked Leon, moving his eyes to see Don, shaking. “Oh god! Chi, stay in there!” He ordered Usagi.

Usagi realized what was going on, and did as he was told, he knew what happened when Don got like this.

“Is Don okay?” Asked Mikey.

“No, and it would probably be safer if they and I were in a large space,” Leon said.

Don started to growl.

“We have a dojo you can use if you need to,” Splinter said.

“That would be appreciated,” Leon said, as he grabbed a knife.

“Why do you need a knife?” Asked Mikey.

“To do this,” Leon said, as blue flames surrounded the knife, and it turned into a sword. He slashed through the air, making a portal. “And in we go!” He said as he threw Don in.

Around two hours passed when Don and Leon walked out of the dojo.

Leon had a bite mark on his arm, other than that, he wasn’t hurt. Don, on the other hand, looked(and felt) like shit.

Everyone was in the living room, Usagi was telling the five mutants and two humans about his ancestor.

“And then, he trapped the king in a special stone, called the Key Stone!”

“Hey guys, we’re back!” Leon called.

“Oh jeez, are you guys okay?” Asked Donnie.

“We’re fine,” Said Leon. “Don got angry, and their primal instincts took over, It’s happened a lot since the Krang…”

“Why are you talking for him?” Asked Raph.

“It’s ‘them’,” Leon corrected. “Anywhizzle, Don can’t usually talk for a few hours after they get like this, due to what happened after they got pulled out of the Krang ship’s main controls...” Leon started tearing up, he still blamed himself for everything that had happened during the 24 hours that the Krang were on Earth. 

He was pulled into a hug by Don and Usagi.

“...I’m so sorry,” Leo spoke up. “The Kraang in your world sound like monsters.”

“They were…” Usagi said. “I wasn’t there, but it was all over the news in Neo Edo.”

“Is there anything we can do?” asked Splinter.

“Don’t touch Don or Leon, try not to bring up the Krang, yours or theirs, around them, and most importantly,” He said looking directly at April. “Don’t ask personal questions, they’ll tell you what they’re comfortable sharing.”

“Alright, now come on dudes! iCarly is starting!” Said Mikey.

“Hold on…” Leon said. “It’s the old one! Not the new one! Scooch!” 

Everyone laughed at Leon, being the theater kid that he is, getting excited over the show. It felt as if they were one big happy family, and none of them wanted this feeling to end.

Leon was fixated on iCarly, the old one was so much better than the new one on Paramount+, and just like Victorious, he started singing along to the theme song.

Don took out their phone and started to record Leon dancing.

April was watching Leon with a scowl on her face. She was supposed to be the center of attention, not Leon !

“I’m sorry, what?” Leon said after he heard the last bit of narration.

“As I said last night,” Usagi said. “This is just pathetic.”

“Does she really think that?” Don asked. “Talk about toxic relationships!”

“What the fuck are you guys talking about?!” Screamed Raph.

“Little Miss April “I Can Do No Wrong” O’Neil over there thinks the world revolves around her,” Don explained, rolling their eyes. “I miss our April, she’s so much better than whatever the hell this thing is,” Don jerked their thumb towards April.

“Classic white girl shit,” Leon said, examining his nails. “Also, I still need to repaint my nails.”

“Thats really offensive…” Casey said.

“Bro, it's a meme that exists in 2022,” Usagi said. “Damn where do you live? Ohio?”

The twins and rabbit burst out laughing.

“I don’t get it,” Said Mikey.

“All the coo-coo crazies live in Ohio, it's a big meme, that’s starting to die where we come from.” Explained Don.

“I can confirm this,” Said Leon. “I portaled to Ohio one night when I couldn’t sleep, and saw someone dressed as Wednesday Addams, from the new series on Netflix, screaming at an ice cream man because he didn’t have a lemon flavor of ice cream. It was hilarious!”

“Did you video it?” Asked Don.

“Yeah! Hook it up to their TV, and we can watch it!”

Leon sent the video file to Don, who started typing on his wrist.

“There we go, everyone look at the TV!”

In the start of the video, Leon is running across some buildings, the camera is turned to face him.

“Hey whoever is watching this! It is I, the great Leonardo Blue Hamato-Draxum!” Leo said dramatically. “I was bored so I portled to Ohio, but I’m hearing weird noises…”

Leo flips the camera into an ice cream shop, where a girl in a Wednesday Addams costume is screaming at a man in an ice cream shop.

“I want lemon!”

“Ma’am, we don’t have lemon ice cream, try Cold Stone,” The ice cream person said.

“I. Want. LEMON.” The girl screamed. “NOW!!”

The video then ended, with a bunch of laughter coming from behind the screen.

The room started howling with laughter from all of the turtles, and Casey, however the scowl on April's face remained the same.

“Why are you laughing at that girl?” April growled. “She just wants ice cream, and you’re making fun of her?”

Usagi rolled his eyes. “We’re laughing because of how she's approaching this situation, anyone with a sense of humor can easily laugh at this, most people in Ohio think it’s funny too,” Usagi sighed. “I hate this universe, Don, is there a way we can get back?”

“Well…can’t Leon portal us back with his swords, like he does when he goes to meet ‘The Blue Gays (and Randy)’?”

“I tried already!” Leon complained. “While fighting the Krang here, I tried to open a portal home, but it closed immediately, we need someone on the other side to open one too, but the only person who can also open portals is…”

“No, we are not going through that again!” Don said. “He still has the cracks on his arms from when he pulled you out of the prison dimension.”

“Who?” Asked Donnie.

“Would it be bold to assume it’s your Mikey?” Asked Leo, getting weird stares from everyone but the Rise crew.

“Yeah,” Leon said grinning. “Mikey’s awesome!” He threw his hands in the air, not realizing he hit the remote until the sound from the TV changed to…

“HOLY SHIT IS THAT RANDY?!” Screamed Leon. “I didn’t know his show was on!”

“Hold on,” Casey said. “You know him?”

“Yeah! He’s one of my Ben Schwartz buddies!” Leon squealed like a child.

“Mama Mia,” Donnie sighed as Leon started explaining about his group chat. “Here we go again,”

“Wait, could Sonic or Dewey bring us home?” Asked Usagi, cutting Leon off mid story.

“Lemme go ask them!” Leon said as he took out his phone.

“What about the story?” Asked Raph.

“I’ll finish it later, let me text the blue boi’s!”

Leon turned off his phone, and looked at the others.

“Okay, so, Dewey is missing, so the guys are focusing on that, we need to find another way home.” He said. “Don, go with Donnie and start planning a portal machine, Junior- I mean, Casey, go with them.”

“Wow,” Mikey said when the two Donnie’s and the one Casey left the room, no body noticed that April had gone with them. “I thought you were only serious when you fought the Kraang!”

“Leon can be pretty serious when he needs to,” Said Usagi. “You haven’t seen half of it,”

Leo smiled, he liked the fact that his counterpart was able to be a teen and be a good leader at the same time.

“Awww, gracias desde otro universo!” Leon said.

“Huh?” 

“He says things in Spanish a lot,” Mikey said.

“Holy shit, that place is a nightmare!” Don said, coming out of Donnie’s lab. “Those two are fighting over a girl!” Don flopped onto the couch.

“What else is new?” Raph said, rolling his eyes.

“You let them fight over April?!” Don yelled. “If it was Cass, that would be one thing seeing as she’s in a relationship with April and Sunita, but Casey looks like Junior here, so I don’t know! But the thing that flabbergasted me the most is that my counterpart has a crush on April!”

“Eww!” Leon said, trying not to gag. “I thought he and Casey were a thing!”

Don looked at Leon, “do you have a death wish?”

“I mean, good old Fearless over here had a crush on Karai for a while,” Raph said, trying not to laugh.

Leon’s face had an even more disgusted look than before after he heard that.

“You’re joking…right?” He asked.

Leo looked away, ashamed.

“I hate this universe even more than I did before,” Don said.

“I can’t believe I had a crush on Gram-Gram,” Leon whispered.

Usagi looked at the three turtles and the rat, and then back to the twins.

“I’m so glad I don’t have a counterpart here,” he said.

“Actually,” Splinter said. “I found these old scrolls, does the name ‘Miyamoto’ ring a bell?” He asked.

“Holy fucking shit! That’s my ancestor!” Usagi screamed. “Do you know him? Is he nice? Can I meet him? Does he-“

“I'm so done with Casey’s bullshit!” Donnie said, as he stormed out of the lab.

“It’s not his fault,” Don said. “It’s that toxic, manipulative bitch that’s causing the problem.”

“Hey! That’s rude!” Donnie said.

“Donnie, look,” Leo started. “April is a great girl, but Don is right, she is kinda-“

“No! Leave me alone! I can’t believe you’re siding with alternate versions over me!”

Donnie ran out of the lair.

“That wasn’t smart,” Raph said. “It’s day time, he’s going to be seen.”

Leon looked at Don, and reached into his fanny pack, pulling out a cloaking brooch, and handing it to them.

“No.” Don said

“It’s your counterpart.” Leon argued.

“So?”

“Go.”

“Nardo-“

“Now.” Leon gave a cold stare

“Fine! I swear you’re like another Raph,” Don said, as they turned on the cloaking brooch. Purple waves of energy swirled around them. “I’ll go look for my counterpart.”

Leon turned to the turtles and rat, who had confused/shocked looks on their faces.

Usagi gave Leon a look. “Yay, more explanations!” Usagi said sarcastically.

The air was cold as Don lifted the sewer cover, causing them to shiver. They pulled their coat close to their chest, trying to keep warm.

Don was glad that Leon gave the brooches to them so that they could program the brooches to put clothes on anyone who wore them.

“Donnie?” Don said, not used to calling out their own name. “Donnie, are you there?”

They heard shuffling on the roof of the building next to them, so they decided to climb up.

There on the roof, was Donnie, he was shaking and silently sobbing.

“Hey,” Don said. “You good?”

Donnie whipped his head around to find Don in their human form.

Donnie’s bloodshot red eyes widened. “Who are you?”

“Sigh. It’s me, Don, sorry about the appearance at the moment, Nardo made me put this cloaking brooch on because he’s a fucking pain in the ass.”

“Why do you swear so much?”

“Huh? The fuck do you mean?”

Donnie sighed. “Almost every sentence you say contains a swear...why?”

Don sat down next to Donnie. “I usually do it because of my murderous tendencies, due to me being a spiny soft shell.” They looked away. “I’m sorry if it makes you uncomfortable, I can’t help it most of the time,”

“But I thought you and Leon were twins,” Donnie said, raising his non-existent eyebrow.

“Oh yeah, we should fix that, good thinking author,” Don said, making Donnie more confused.  “And anyway, Nardo always says we’re twins because we have the same birthday, which is stupid,”

“Your Leo is pretty different from ours,” Donnie said smiling. “You all seem to act like normal teenagers, how do you do it?”

“Because we are…? I’m surprised though, honestly, we’ve been through way too much trauma,” Don said. “First the Shredder, then Draxum, then Big Mama’s battle nexus, then Gram-Gram, then the Raph incident, then the Dad incident, then the Krang incident,” they shuddered. “No one should ever have to go through what we did, just to keep our city safe.”

“The Raph incident?” Donnie asked. “And who are Gram-Gram and Draxum?”

“Gram-Gram was Karai, our very great-grandmother, she was a mother figure to all of us, especially Leo,”

“Not surprised,” Donnie said.

“Anyways, blah, blah, blah, Shredder breaks into our lair and…well…he kills Gram-Gram,” Don started tearing up, wiping the tears from their eyes.

“I’m so sorry,” Donnie said, unsure if he should touch Don’s arm, due to their past reactions to touch.

“It’s fine. Anyway, before Gram-Gram actually died, she possessed our April, and tried to teach us how to unlock our ninpo.” Don paused for a few seconds. “That was when Raph, who was having trouble with being the leader, and not knowing what to do, jumped off of some high trees. We caught him, and he swore he’d never do that again, but it scared all of us,”

Donnie didn’t know what to say. He knew that if he lost a loved one *cough* canon tmnt 2012 season 3 *cough* or almost lost someone again(idk whether to be sorry about this or not, bc yall probably know what I’m talking about), he’d probably be traumatized as well.

“Damn, Author, stop being so harsh,” Don said.

“Who’s ‘Author’? I’ve noticed that you, Leon, and Usagi yell or talk to someone who isn’t there,”

“Oh, yeah, we tend to break the fourth wall a lot. Leo and I, more than the stupid rabbit,” Don huffed.

Donnie gave his counterpart a confused look. “What's wrong with Usagi? He seems nice,”

“I…I don’t want Leon to get hurt,” Don sighed. “He’s already been through so much, it's my job as his twin to protect him.”

“Jeez, you sound worse than me and my feelings for April,” Donnie laughed.

“Nah,” Said Don, examining their nails. “You’re still pretty bad, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but a word of advice, maybe start paying more attention to Casey.” 

“It’s getting cold out here, can we head back to the lair?” Asked Donnie, trying to avoid what his counterpart just said.

“I like that idea a lot,”

Leon: What time is it?

Mikey: I don’t know, hand me kazoo.

Leon: *gives kazoo*

Mikey: *starts playing kazoo*

Raph from his room: MIKEY WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU PLAYING A KAZOO AT 2 IN THE FUCKING MORNING?!

Mikey: It’s 2 in the morning!

Leon: Don, I’m hungry.

Don: Hi Hungry, I’m Don.

Leon: I swear to fu-

April: *walks into a room*

Don: Oh look, a bitch.

April: Where?

Don: *holds up a mirror* Right here!

Leo: Remember everyone, violence is never the answer!

Leon: The question is violence, the answer is ‘yes’.

Raph and Casey: *wheezing*

Mikey: According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyways. Because bees don't care what humans or mutants think is impossible.

Donnie: What the fuck.

Usagi: Truth or Dare?

Casey: Dare.

Usagi: I dare you to kiss the hottest person in the room.

April: *blushing* Yes?

Don: No, I don’t think you can fight because you’re wearing a dress. For what it’s worth, I don’t think Leo can fight in a dress either.

Leon: Sí my trans bestie! Author don’t forget to use she/her pronouns for my counterpart!

Author: Yes, I know, Leon. I gave you guys a once in a lifetime break, don’t ruin it.

Don: *opens a Caprisun* I guess I’ll drink my sorrows away.

Casey: My ultimate goal is to punch God in the eye, just to spite him one last time.

Mikey: *watching their house burn down*

Casey: *holds up their class notes* And then this doodle of a burrito because when I first read Aristotle, I thought it was pronounced like “Chipotle”. 

Casey: *in shock* Wait a minute, is it “Chip-o-tottle”?

Mikey: *Takes a sip of milk and gags*

Donnie: Maybe you should throw that out?

Leon: My life isn't as glamorous as my wanted poster makes it look.

Leo: Your what now?

Leon: *fake smile* Nothing

Leon: I love the term 'partners'. Are we dating? Are we robbing a bank? Are we the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies and are members of an elite squad known as the special victims unit? Who knows.

Don: Leon, stop acting like that worm and Hypno!

Raph: I’m sorry, worm?

Donnie: Well you see, the explanation is perfectly simple and scientific. It was because, shut up. Shut up is why.

Leon: No one asked but okay

Usagi: The only thing I'm guilty of is being adorable... ...and also assault with a deadly weapon.

Don: Are you sure about that?

Don and Donnie walked back into the lair to see Leon explaining cloaking brooches.

“And I think that’s it!” Leon said before turning to Don and Donnie. “I’m glad you’re back mis hermanos!”  

“Damn Leo, Grammarly’s throwing a fit over your Spanish!” Don said.

“Well, you know Don,” Leon said with a shit-eating grin on his face. “Writing is not that easy,”

“Nardo no!”

“But Grammarly can help. This sentence is grammatically correct but it's wordy and hard to read!” Usagi chimed in. “Oh my god, Grammarly is throwing a fit over its own ad!”

“What Grammarly?” asked Leo, earning herself a weird look from the twins and rabbit.

“Oh wait…that's right! Even though it was made in 2009, it didn’t become popular until 2015, and I doubt you guys use YouTube,” Don said.

“Okay, what the hell is YouTube?” Yelled Raph.

“A video streaming thingy where people upload videos,” Usagi said. “There are so many animatics of Leon and I, I’ve seen so many people throw a fit over them!”

“I can’t help that I’m fruity, I’m sorry,” Leon laughed.

“You’re fruitier than the fucking Jamba Juice menu!” Don said.

“As much as I hate to ruin whatever is going on over there,” April said, as she sashayed her way over to Don. “What's your April like? Is she hot?” A smug look appeared on her face.

“April is fine, she’s a very good friend,” Don said.

“April es muy bonita!” Leon said with a smile. “She always knows what to do, and she even has a crane license!” 

“Do you have a crush on me in your universe?” April asked Leon.

“What?! No! I’m gay, and I have a boyfriend, you know this!” Leon yelled. “Besides, April has a girlfriend.”

“Then why did you say I was very pretty?”

“Because our April is pretty, and she’s not a disgusting bitch who allows people to simp over her willy nilly!” Don said.

“You are beyond disgusting at this point,” Usagi said. “I don’t think our April would like you anymore than a pile of moldy trash,”

“Please,” Leon said as he rolled his eyes. “Moldy trash looks better than this hoe,”

“Damn! What’s with the April slander?” Raph said, trying not to laugh, leaning on Mikey, who was dying of laughter.

Leo had her hand over her mouth. “Oh my god, that was so mean!” She tried to say in her most serious voice

“Are you just going to stand there and let them make fun of me?” April snarled. “Donnie, could you be a dear and get them to stop? I’ll give you another kiss if you get them to stop,” She batted her eyes.

“Excuse me?!” A voice came. “What did you just say?!”

The whole room went silent, and turned to see Casey and Master Splinter in the doorway.

“Nothing! I said nothing!” April said quickly.

Splinter narrowed his eyes, and Casey stared at her in disbelief.

“You tried to bribe Donnie with a kiss?” Screamed Casey. “You are one sick bastard!” 

Donnie looked down at his feet.

“Wait…” Mikey said. “April kissed him before dudes!”

Don turned to April, and stared at her with pure disgust.

“Leon, my dear twin, can I ask a favor?” Asked Don, as innocently as possible.

“But of course my dear sibling!” Leon said, giving a smug smile.

“April O’Neil.” Splinter said, walking towards the female human. 

“No need, I got this,” Casey said to the rat. “How dare you try to bribe Donnie, and take advantage of both of us!”

April rolled her eyes. “Oh please, you guys will do anything I say, you’re head over heels for me.”

“Correction,” Donnie says. “We were.”

“What?”

“You really think we’d want to be with someone who takes advantage of us?” Asked Donnie. “That's just pathetic.”

“See,” Usagi said. “Finally someone else agrees with me!”

“Indeed we do Bunny Boy,” Said Casey.

“Don’t call me that!”

“Back to the topic at hand,” Leo said, turning her head back to April. “I want you out, now. I don’t want you near my siblings, or my friends anymore.” She crossed her arms against her chest.

“You guys really aren’t going to let him do this to me, right?” April said.

“It’s her.” Leo mumbled, getting a hug from Mikey.

“Don’t worry mís hermanos y mi hermana!” Leon said. “We have a way!”

Don took out their bō staff, and Leon took out his katanas.

“Hatchi Matchi!” Leon said, opening a portal.

“Did you really need to say that?” Asked Don.

“Yes.”

“Oh hell no!” April said. “I’m not going in that thing.”

“ Mí amor?” Leon said, giving Usagi a look.

Usagi quickly took out his yo-yo, and threw it at April. It wrapped itself around her, holding it in place.

“Bye bye!” Don said, as Usagi dragged her into the portal. “Take some snacks for the road, why don’t you?”

As soon as April fell through the portal, Don summoned some missiles and a rocket, and sent it through the portal.

“Good job peeps,” Usagi said.

“Holy crap!” Donnie said, staring at his counterpart. “That was so cool!”

The turtles, rabbit, and human started to chat about mystic weapons, no one noticing Master Splinter until he said something.

“I would like an explanation, please.”

“Oh fuck!” Usagi said.

“Stop ending chapters like that!” Don said.

“Oh fuck off!” Usagi said. “We have to explain more!”

“REEEEEEE!”

“What in the actual hell Leon?”

“Just end the chapter!”

It had been a few days, and after explaining everything, Don and Donnie found a way to get everyone back! The only problem was that only the people, in both dimensions, who would remember what happened would be the ones who went to a different dimension. In other words, only Leo, Leon, Don, and Usagi would remember everything.

After hours of going back and forth, it was decided that this was probably going to be the only way to get the twins and rabbit back to their own dimension.

“So…the only one who will remember us will be my counterpart?” Asked Leon.

“I’m afraid so Nardo,” Don said, wrapping their arm around their twin.

“So the only one who will remember April being a jerk will be Leo?” Asked Usagi. “No offense, but I don’t think anyone is going to believe her, and if we see these guys again, we won’t have any proof to back her up.”

“It’s fine,” Leo said. “I’ll do my best to convince them, if they don’t believe me, it’s fine, I am going to be more protective of my brother though,”

“Thanks, sis,” Donnie said.

“No problem!” Leo said happily.

“Leo, you better tell us everything, as soon as they’re gone!” Raph said.

“Don’t worry, I will,”

“I like how the author is trying to stall some time by writing all of this dialogue,” Usagi said, lau-

“Oh my god, the author broke character just to yell at you mí amor!” Leon laughed.

Oh shit…uhhh…the 2012 Turtles, Casey, and Splinter looked at the twins and rabbit as if they lost their minds.

“What’s going on?” Asked Mikey.

“Oh right, we never told you, did we?” Asked Leon.

“I told Donnie,” Don said. “We break the fourth wall, it’s in our nature, Leon broke it at the worst time in our movie.”

“Hey! It was a great pose! It needed to be the poster cover, and it was!” Leon argued.

“You said it at the worst time!”

“So?”

“So?! Nardo, we could have gotten killed.”

“Says the one who was standing in a heroic pose with their chest puffed out as their battle shell was being put on their back.”

“Shut up!”

“No, you shut up!”

“Uno reverse card!”

“Hey dare you ‘Uno Reverse Card’ me!”

“I apologize for those two, they’re called the disaster twins for a reason,” Usagi laughed nervously. “Can you get the portal thingy up and running?”

“Sure?” Donnie took the ball that Don had put on the ground earlier and threw it.

The ball bounced on the ground, and after it bounced, it flashed and turned into a portal.

“Thank you,” Usagi said. “Now come along now children,”

Usagi took out his yo-yo and threw it at the two twins, however, instead of wrapping it around them as he did with April, the two twins started to glow and float up as soon as the yo-yo touched them.

“Chi, why???” Whined Leon.

“Because you two wouldn’t stop arguing, now come on!” The rabbit dragged the two turtles through the portal. “Bye, you weirdos,”

A bright light shone as the twins and rabbit walked through the portal.

Usagi tugged on his yo-yo and freed the two turtles from their floaty state.

“Owww!” Donnie said as they fell on the floor. “Never do that again you dumb rabbit!” 

“Well excuse me for getting us through that portal and home!” Usagi rolled his eyes.

“What are you all doing here?” Asked Raph who had heard yelling from the lab.

“Raph! Mí hermano! You’ve come to save me! I’ve been dealing with this non-stop arguing for days!” Leo said dramatically, throwing his hand over his forehead.

“Non-stop for days?” Asked Raph. “But you guys just got back from star gazing,”

“Wait…” Donnie said, pulling up the digital screen on their wrist. “When my other self and I made the portal to get back, we said that no one would remember besides us, and Nardo’s counterpart, so that means-“

“Oh my god, the world reset back a week!” Leo exclaimed.

“Huh? What do you mean?” Asked Raph. 

“Nothing, don’t worry about it, Red,” Usagi said. “Eww, I sound like that other Casey!”

The twins burst out laughing.

“This is an experience I will never forget!” Leo said.

“Boys!” They heard Splinter yell. “It’s late, go to bed!”

“I’m probably not gonna sleep, but okay!” Leo yelled.

“Get out of my lab,” Donnie said, shoving everyone out of the lab.

“I like how the author doesn’t know how to end the story,” Leo said.

“She’ll figure it out,” Usagi said.

“You’re right! Let's go to bed,” The two walked off leaving a very confused Raph behind them.

“The authors here?”
