I was there when they met a second time.
I was there when they met for the third, sixth, millionth time.
I knew everything about them.
When he met her something changed.
I didn't know everything about him.
He didn't do what he would normally do to somebody like her.
She knew what could happen to her and she was surprised when he did the total opposite.
He fell in love with her.
He never told her or anyone else about it.
But she knew.
Everybody knew.
Just he didn't know.
He thought he can't.

“I'm leaving!” She yelled at him through the rain.
“Why, Mage?!” He yelled back. She was serious and he knew it. He was nervous.
“Because I can't be here.”
“Why?”
“Because I love you.” She said with tears in her eyes.
He was speechless. It's not like she never said it, this was just different.
“That's why. I can't be in love with someone who says that it's more than sex, but then doesn’t care about me!” She yelled at him.
“Kuni… I can't do this anymore. I did everything for you. I left my old life behind just for you. It's time for me to go back.” She said and wanted to walk away. After one step she heard him.
“Please! Don't leave me, Mona!” He said.
She was beautiful even when she was broking His heart. She was looking into eyes of man who was saying that he has no heart.
She turned to face him.
Tears were rolling down on her cheeks.
“I love you, Mona. I can fix it!” He said.
She shakes her head. Her lips were shaking. “N-no. You- We can't fix it. We can't be together. Not now.”
“Then when?”
“I-I don't know Kuni… Just not now.”
Who would say that he would feel bad for Scaramouche? For a man who killed more than a hundred of people just because they did one wrong thing.
I knew that he wasn't lying. He loved her. Truly.
“NO! You don't understand Mona! I fucking love you. I really can fix it. I will fix-” He was yelling.
She knew very well he meant it.
“Shut the fuck up Scaramouche! You are not listening!” She was mad. She was using Scaramouche when she was mad at him.
Normally she would be dead for months, but she is different.
“We can't fix this. You can't change this. Don't talk to me ever again! You should forget about me. I hope fate will never let us meet again.” She wasn't thinking straight. She was mad at herself. For letting herself fall for him.
She turned and left.
He wanted to go after her, but when he made a step he fell on the ground.

It started after their third meeting.
They made a deal. He could fuck her and he would pay her rent and some astrological things.
They told themselves it was just for sex.
But suddenly he was leaving more often to Mondstat and Scaramouche was spending thousands of Mora on gifts and one single house in Mondstat.
He suggested that she would come on missions with him so he wouldn't spend Mora on her house. (He didn´t stop paying it.)
After that, they acted like a couple, but then something changed. Scaramouche was more distant from Mona.
They both thought they are now dating.
But they both had different opinions on what is dating.
He gave her his body and he gave her material things. She wanted more, but he couldn't.
She wanted his heart. But he couldn't give it to her. He thought he doesn't have one. That he needs Gnosis for it.
He was wrong.
So wrong.
I don't blame Mona Magistus.
But I don't blame Scaramouche too.
They love each other.
They met at right time.
But they started loving each other at the wrong time.

After that fight, he was so mad. He always makes from his sadness anger.
So after that even one mistake, not even a mistake could you get killed.
I wanted to do something.
If I say something, I would get killed.
So I didn't.
I felt guilty that I didn't do anything.
Even though it wasn't my fault.

After that their path never crossed again.
He didn't try to find her.
He left it in past.
Last time I saw heartless Scaramouche was when he was fighting with Honorary Knight.
After that nobody heard about him.
There was somebody new.
Wanderer.
Not Scaramouche.
Not Balladeer.
Not Kabukimono.
Kunikuzushi, maybe.
Wanderer, maybe.
I heard that this time he was different.
Maybe this was right time to meet Mona again.
But he has forgotten about her.

When Nahida sent him to Mondstat he met her.
He remembered.
Everything.
He wanted to talk to her.
But he couldn't.
If he did he could mess it up again.
Little he knew that Mona was waiting for him.
That she didn't care if they massed it up again.
She just wanted to be with him again.
Even if it was just for second.

Wanderer and Mona met again.
This time Wanderer was collecting some flowers at a cliff late at night under the moon.
He wished that Mona will be here.
But he was scared if it was true.
And it was true.
As he stood up from the ground he saw shoes.
Mona’s shoes.
He looked up.
It was really her.
“Kuni?” She said with hand infront of her mouth. Tears were rolling down on her cheeks.
Words stuck in his throat. “I-”
“You changed style?” She laughed little.
He smiled and chuckled.
“I guess so.” He said.
“I'm so sorry Kuni. I'm sorry for what I said. I love you.” She was crying so hard.
He hugged her and then kissed her.
He looked into her beautiful light-green eyes. “Mona… I love you… Please. Believe me.”
She nodded and softly smiled. “I believe you.”
“I don't want to mess this up again. I don't want this to end like last time.” Wanderer said.
“We won't mess this up again. And even if we did, we will fix it.” Mona said and looked into his eyes. They were different this time. They were softer.
They kissed again under the shining moon.
