Halloween is coming, and there is a prank going viral on TikTok. A popular skeleton decoration has a wire attached to it and if you pull that wire its eyes start glowing, it starts shaking and making very loud and scary noises. Couples on TikTok are scaring each other with this new thing. One of the people hides the skeleton toy somewhere. Most of them hide it in a wardrobe and attach the wire to the door handle so when the person opens the wardrobe door they pull the wire as well so the skeleton gets turned on. The person who records the TikTok hide somewhere as well. The purpose of the challenge is that scare the shit out of your partner because it's "sooo funny".
James saw how many views those videos got on TikTok which were related to that trend. So he wanted to do it as well. He knows Aiden gets scared easily so his reaction will be "extra hilarious". He buys that skeleton and put it in the kitchen cabinet and attached the wire to the handle. He hides behind the door with his phone. Aiden comes for a glass of water and when he opens the kitchen cabinet the skeleton turned on and scared the hell out of him. Aiden screamed so loud that James couldn't handle it and laughed, which Aiden noticed while breathing fast because of the shock.
James comes out behind the door while Aiden's scared expression turned into an angry one:
- Haha, you should have seen your face! It was priceless! This video gonna get me so many views and new followers – James laughed
- Wha... WHAT? JAMES!!! DID YOU RECORD ME? – Aiden shouted
- Yeah, here's the video. Look! It turned out hilarious I'm pretty sure I won this trend.
- Trend...? (he gets it now, what was this all about) what... WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU I THOUGHT I GONNA HAVE A HEART ATTACK YOU FUCKING MORON!
- Chill down baby it was just a prank...! – James tried to „defend” himself.
- DON'T JUST CALL ME "BABY" RIGHT NOW! YOU REALLY HAD THE NERVE TO SCARE ME LIKE THIS AND THEN RECORD ME TO POST IT ON TIKTOK?!?!? WITHOUT MY CONSENT?
- Wow relax, I haven't posted the video yet...
- YET? No... No, NO DON'T YOU DARE POST IT, I WON'T ALLOW YOU, I DEMAND YOU DELETE THAT VIDEO!!!
- But, look at how many views this challenge's hashtag has on TikTok. I'm pretty sure this will blow up and make us more popular.
- I don't CARE HOW MANY VIEW IT WOULD GET! SERIOUSLY HUMILIATING ME LIKE THIS IS REALLY WORTH THE CLOUT???
- Relax relax, don't see it as a humiliation. You may not understand it now but I'm pretty sure you will change your point of view about this when you'll see the feedback.

- Oh, c'mon I didn't pay for that junk just to not make the trend! – Said James in an unsatisfied voice - Please let me post it it's gonna be worth it!
Aiden couldn’t handle it anymore, he even starts to have tears in his eyes because of his anger:
- ...You know what? Fine. POST YOUR GODDAMN VIDEO AND ENJOY THE LIKES AND VIEWS YOU'LL GET. I DON'T HAVE THE ENERGY TO ARGUE WITH YOU ABOUT THIS. DO WHAT YOU WANT I DON'T FUCKING CARE ANYMORE!
- Hah, trust me it's going to be really worth it...
But Aiden was still angry, with his arms crossed and turned away from James, still having tears in his eyes.
- Hey c'mon buddy... – Said James in a comforting voice
- I don't want to talk with you right now, you jerk... You asshole. This was a dick move from you... – said Aiden quietly in a disappointed voice - Taking advantage of me... for a stupid TikTok video. Go post it and enjoy the fame and clout you'll get, but just to know... sometimes I wish that your phone was broken or you got banned from TikTok, forever. That you were never an influencer, that you were never a... huge jerk.
He walks away to his room and shuts the door. James starts to feel a little sad and guilty but unfortunately was too carried away with the video.
- He always overreacts everything! – Said James to himself - I'm sure he will change his mind soon. Even though he never really... cared about social media. But I and my ex used to do this all the time and always forgive each other when we see the feedback. We used to get so many views on couple-related videos.
James sat down on the couch to edit the video. While editing he heard voices in his head... well more like Aiden's voice in his head:
„ I wish that your phone was broken or you got banned from TikTok forever. That you were never an influencer, that you were never a... huge jerk... "
This sentence starts to repeat in James' mind over and over. He couldn't continue editing the video because he was too distracted. The sentence couldn't leave his mind.
- Aiden hasn't called me a jerk and an asshole for a long time... since I betrayed him in Disventure Camp. Wait... Am I betraying him right now? Again?
He put down his phone and just continued thinking:
- Wait I minute... did I... Did I just compare our relationship with my past exes? - He started to have a shocked expression - Oh shit, I just did, didn't I? It really was a dick move from me, wasn't it?
Aiden's other sentences started to repeat in his mind too:
" WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU I THOUGHT I GONNA HAVE A HEART ATTACK YOU FUCKING MORON! "
" DON'T JUST CALL ME "BABY" RIGHT NOW! YOU REALLY HAD THE NERVE TO SCARE ME LIKE THIS AND THEN RECORD ME TO POST IT ON TIKTOK?!?!? WITHOUT MY CONSENT? "
"SERIOUSLY HUMILIATING ME LIKE THIS REALLY WORTH THE CLOUT???"
James put the video in the draft and watched a few TikTok videos which were related to the challenge. The comments were packed with nasty ones like:
"Haha, what a scared little pussy they are!"
"I swear that person probably pissed in their pants!"
"Bro prob shitted themself 💀"
James realized if he posted that video the comment section would probably be full of these types of comments. He didn't want to humiliate Aiden, he really didn't. But back then he didn't realize that. He now knows if he posts that video their relationship won't be the same again.
He feels like a REAL jerk. Like his ex. So he knew what he should do in order for their relationship to go back to normal. He deleted the video he had never posted. He slowly went to Aiden's bedroom door and thought about how he's gonna apologize to him.
Aiden was drawing in his diary. He was doodling James with horns and an evil expression:
- Jerk. A big jerk. I wish TikTok would just disappear so he wouldn't act like a big, big jerk. An evil jerk. I don't hate him but I sure HATE HIS STUPID TIKTOK ADDICTION! It turns him into an evil motherfu...
*knock knock*
Aiden looks up from his diary looking at the door, while James slowly opens it a bit:
- Heey, Aiden...!
- Great, you're here again. Look I don't care how many views it got so far I told you! Leave me alone I'm not in the mood of talking with a TikTok jerk!
- Oh yeah about the video... I deleted the footage and... never posted it.
- You didn't? I thought you „didn't pay for that junk to not make the challenge." - said he with an annoyed expression
- Yeah, the challenge... and what you said to me earlier... You were right. It was really a dick move from me. Scaring you like that and then intending to humiliate you on TikTok. – said James in an ashamed voice - I'm sorry. I never realized that earlier, and I'm also really sorry for acting like a jerk, being a jerk.
- Well... I'm glad you realized that and came to me to apologize. I appreciate it but don’t want to forgive you at the moment and I'm still mad.
- Please Aiden, don't be mad at me... Well, you have every right to, but I never wanted to make you mad I thought you would change your mind later like my... – He realizes what he just said- You know what... You're right. I'm just a jerk, a BIG jerk. But I don't want to be one anymore. I promise Aiden I swear I'll never do pranks on you and record it like this, EVER again! I'm truly sorry I swear I'll change, but I don't want to lose you... again.
Aiden starts to have a surprised expression. He knew what James is saying right now is genuine. He even notices the tears in his boyfriend's eyes:
- Please Aiden please, forgive me... You don't have to right now I can wait... but please don't hate me. I want our relationship to stay the same. Please.
Aiden stood up went to James with a smug expression but still in an annoyed mood and hugged him:
- Okay James, I forgive you. I could tell from your expression and voice that you were genuine. That you truly wanted to apologize. It's okay we can put this little incident away.
- Soo (*sniff*) is everything okay between us?
- Well, I'm still kinda mad at you, but I'll get over it, so... Yes.
James' expression quickly turned into a happy one, got closer to Aiden's face and wanted to kiss him, but Aiden put his hand on James's mouth:
- Nope! Do you think you can get away without punishment?
James was surprised:
- A what?
- No kissing and cuddling for a WHOLE day! You get a 24 hours penalty. Starting now. - said Aiden with a huge smug smile on his face
- WHAT???
- Let's prove you truly regretted it and learned your lesson!
- NOOOOOOOO!
Aiden just giggled.
