– He's a pretty confident guy so you wouldn't think he would be trying to keep it as a secret if he's got his eyes on you.
– But the truth is, he's kinda scared of you rejecting him if you ever found out he's fallen for you and hard.
– I mean most people in your school think he's weird and annoyingly over-active.
– You don't seem to think so, you laugh at his jokes and smile widely when you greet him, but it might just be you being polite and that's it.
– Your friends don't look at him weirdly though either, they also genuinely greet him when they pass him on a hallway.
– And sometimes he thinks he hears one of your friends tease you about him when he's around the corner.
– He tries to brush it off as daydreaming because he's convinced you wouldn't like him, or at least wouldn't say it aloud.
– Because as I said, people think he's weird and even though he has never really taken that seriously, he's not sure if you want to be called "the freak's partner" or something.
– Or if he would be able to deal with it in a way that doesn't embarrass you if he noticed you got hurt about someone calling after you with that name.
– You probably have no idea he has feelings for you, his friends have never asked about it either. He hides it well.
– You offer to help him study so he'd pass the finals.
– The studies prove themselves partly ineffective though as he's lost into listening to you rambling about anything (even if it's maths or physics) and he won't remember much anything else after that.
– Maybe someday he's able to confess his feelings for you, gather his courage enough and take the leap.
– But until then, you two studying together would do...
