HC: Nancy taking care of you on a bad mental health day

Summary:

Just a set of headcanons.

Work Text:

Hugs. She gives the best hugs if you feel bad. And you can cry while she's hugging you, she won't mind the tears on her shirt.

- If you feel like talking, she's sitting there with you for hours if needed - just listening or talking with you. If you need to open up your heart to her, she's always willing to listen.

- She does her best with distracting you - like you might watch something funny from the TV or listen to some music.

- Don't try to stop her - if she has decided to make you feel good, she will accomplish that mission.

- She hates seeing you staring to the emptiness, because she can almost see what's going on inside your head. And she's determined to make you feel better.

- But if you really feel like she's pushing too hard (and that makes you anxious), you have to tell her. She can also work her way with a gentler approach.

- Sometimes she just might go overboard so she'll only be grateful if you tell her that her fussing makes you just nervous/anxious. She tries to turn it down then.

- And if you can give in to her puppy eyes, she'll be ready to go anywhere with you to make you feel better.

- Movie theater, carnival, mall, restaurant, cafe... sometimes getting out there helps.

- Like if you go to a cafe, Nancy buys you a nice piece of pie/cake/cupcake/hot cocoa with marshmallows, whatever you'd like.

- She cares about you so much and you've always been there for her when she has needed you. You haven't abandoned her even if you felt bad about yourself at that moment, even if you felt like you don't deserve someone like Nancy. Deep down, you always knew that Nancy needed you just as much as you needed her.

- And she was determined to help you through your own bad days as well.
