it hurts. when kinn sinks his teeth in, deep into his flesh, it fucking hurts. there’s no magic moment, it’s just a grown alpha sinking his teeth into the tensed up flesh of porsche’s neck, eyes clenched shut; porsche's hands come up and pull at his hair, but he stills; he thinks this story ends a lot worse if he manages to yank kinn away, he’d probably end up taking a few arteries with his sharp teeth.
nobody warned him that it would hurt, all the romance novels make it sound like magic; all that happens is that his hips stutter and he blacks out for a second, before coming back to himself with a gasp; kinn is lapping at the blood running down his neck; growling, low and soothing; and suddenly, in a flip of a switch; it doesn’t hurt at all.
