getting few questions about birthday week so: basically gems don’t really do birthdays, but some of them decided to pick days anyways just because it’s fun. that’s what birthday week is! a few years back peridot, lapis, and bismuth all picked days on the same week for their birthdays to make a whole celebration of it, it’s more about just having fun and all of us gathering than the birthday part of things.

It didn’t even get basic lore right! They never once spelled Pierre’s name correctly, they removed everything interesting about the Color War and what it has to say about the nature of love and sorting people into arbitrary groups to instead sort people into arbitrary groups! You couldn’t even have meaningful interactions with people outside of your cabin’s color! When the entire show is supposed to be about showing how stupid these lines are!

basically when me and peridot first watched the cph reboot and saw how much it sucked we tried to make our own version. and that. Went. and then a bunch of other things happened and that got shelved

almost all of the camera stuff was bismuth, though lapis helped with the aerial stuff! and you can sort of tell we all acted in it for the most part but amethyst did the most. garnet figured out a lot of the prop stuff and pearl did the editing! well i helped a bit with that. oh! i also did most of the music! dad helped out for some of them.
