Put Me To Bed

Summary:

Lukas has a hard time sleeping, so he goes to his roommate's bedroom for comfort.

Work Text:

Lukas stood at the foot of the doorway looking into the dark room. "I can't sleep."

Aiden rubbed his eyes and beckoned with his hand for the male to come in. So Lukas did so and shut the door. It was much more relaxed than his room. The fan gave a familiar chill in the air.

"Did you take your pills?" Aiden said half asleep.

Lukas nodded. "I'm really restless tonight. And lonely."

The blond sat on the bed next to Aiden. He trailed his fingers along his own arm, his fingernails slightly digging into his skin.

Aiden scooched over and pulled himself out of the teal sheets. He could see the bags under Lukas' eyes when he stared long enough.

"It's okay. Me too." He whispered.

Emerald and blue eyes made contact and a warm feeling overcame them. Aiden's hand was gently placed on Lukas' thigh. It trailed its way up to his side where he rubbed his thumb against him. Lukas took the touch and he felt a flush rise in his cheeks. With each passing second, he grew more tired. He didn't know if it was from the pills or if he just felt safe.

Lukas gently grabbed Aiden's side, making the other freeze for a moment. He blinked heavily as he drew himself closer to his friend. His body weight fell onto Aiden's chest and he could hear every breath he took. His body felt like static against such a warm body. It was nice.

Aiden wrapped his hairy arms over the blond's back. His breath made him away slightly but the rhythm quickly became a peaceful sound. Was it possible to always feel this way? It was foreign, but his instincts told him this wasn't a bad feeling.

Blond hair tickled against Aiden's cheek when he nuzzled himself closer to him. He wanted to stay like this forever. And hold his hand as he slipped out of the waking world. Nothing could ever be this perfect.

"Tired?" Aiden smiled.

Lukas groggily moaned out a reply. Then said, "But don't move, I like you right here."

Aiden adjusted his grip so he could hold on tighter to Lukas. "Okay. I can do that." He sweetly whispered.

And that's what happened. The two held each other until slumber overcame them. It was exciting. But peaceful. Something so small meant the world to both of them.
