He's certainly not ashamed of taking care of his body, there’s nothing wrong with it at all, it’s not like- okay, maybe he’s just a little ashamed. What he means, really- well, people wouldn’t exactly be surprised by something like that coming from him, but- you know, usually men are not- let’s just say that whenever he sets foot in one of these stores, the lovely shop assistants simply assume he’s a caring boyfriend who was sent by his girlfriend. Kiyoomi is plenty happy to let them think this way.
«I don’t run.» Miya gives him a confused look. «Outside of practice, I mean.»
«Ah» he mutters and then- then he does something utterly unforgivable.
Miya pouts.
And under usual circumstances Kiyoomi wouldn’t care less about Miya’s pout. Even now he shouldn’t care about it. But. But- but- but his mind is still hazy from sleep and this odd sense of guilt washes over him. He owes Miya. It’s not like he’s asking for the moon, it’s just a morning run, there’s nothing wrong in giving in and-
Miya grants him another overwhelming smile and Kiyoomi is terrified because he never smiled at him like this, because no one else ever did it before and he’s clearly not just tired, there really is something shifting inside of him, something rising from his stomach threatening to choke him. He has to look away because if he keeps staring at Miya, flushed from the run, kissed by the first sun rays, all bright smiles and soft words, he will die.
