    Castiel is 21 when he escapes from an abusive relationship and flees to the Kansas country side to work at the Winchester horse ranch where he meets Dean, the oldest son of the Winchester family.
    Although Dean feels extremely attracted to the new stable boy, he denies his feelings and shuts him out. Until Castiel ends up in the hospital after an accident with one of the stallions.
