Chapter Text
The sun rose, making it's way into Tatsumi's bedroom window, the birds chirping into rhythm with the trees made him struggle to get out of bed, and.. the warm blankets aren't helping at all. It felt like it took him all day just to gather the strength to sit up and stretch, slouching afterwards to relax and accept the invitation the atmosphere created in his room for him to admire. Though slouching wasn't his thing so he soon sit straight up to gather his thoughts for the day and to do his morning prayers.
The school got a week off due to a long holiday, so that means he gets to stay in his shop which he loves the most, which is his flower shop. The scent of different flowers intertwining and freely lingering inside the store is a heavenly feeling indeed, he also gets to chat the customers on how their day was and who is the lucky person to receive the flowers that they bought for them. Their stories are different, some similar, some not, but they have their own unique charm which makes it lovable to listen to.
He sadly need to leave his bed to start the day, it was so comfortable that he planned to lay down to it once more, But the sun rays says otherwise. Standing up to proceed to the bathroom, he took a shower and changed clothes into casual ones, preferably white so whenever he does flower arrangements, it doesn't look like lint or anything dirty.
Carefully going downstairs, he walked over to his fridge and humbly grabbed two eggs on the shelf, closing the silver fridge door afterwards. Tatsumi is not the type of guy to have a heavy breakfast, an egg on a toast is perfect for him. He removed the pan from it's hanger and gently placed it on the stove, turning the heat on. Once it was warm enough, he poured a generous amount of cooking oil to the pan, grabbing the handle and spreading it evenly on the surface, he smiled at how perfect it was.
He grabbed one egg and used a single hand to crack it at the edge of the pan, same as the other and disposing the egg shells afterwards. As the eggs were being fried, he proceeded to toast two thick loaf breads into the toaster and waited for everything to cook.
Once everything is perfectly well cooked, he turned off the stove as well as the toaster's plug. Putting everything together and placing it on the table, he adjusted his seat. Before he ate breakfast he made for himself, he prayed, thanking God for the meal and for the blessing he received each day. After that was done, he did a sign of the cross, there he ate his food.
When his plates are clean, he gently placed them into the sink, washing and hanging them on the dish rack for it to dry. Hearing the droplets hit the sink tiles made him think that maybe he should buy a proper dish rack. Tatsumi looked at the clock, it was quite reflective due to the sunlight inside the kitchen but he managed to read it, he also got a clue that he needs to clean it.. or perhaps shop for a new one.
"So a new dish rack and a clock hm.." He mumbled to himself.
Other than that, it was time for him to go to work, he fixed his attire as well as his hair before going out and locking the doors of his home.
