Chapter Text
Instead of Ariel being human-obsessed, it's Arista. Arista frequently goes up to the surface, often dragging Ariel along with her. Ariel struggles with the loss of her mom and doesn't trust them much, but agrees to go with her sister. All seems well from a distance until an earthquake beaches them, leading to a new onslaught of problems neither are prepared to deal with.
