When Harry Potter, poster-boy of the Light side, was kidnapped, he didn't expect to enjoy it. And that was true, at first- he didn't. Hell, he fought for about three days before it started to set in [with lots of help from the Cruciatus curse, the Silencing charm, and the Incarcerous spell] that, hey; maybe this wasn't so bad. Sure, he was locked in a cold cell, and yeah, the shackles around his ankle hurt, but look at the positives!
- He had a near constant supply of food, even if it was just what scraps were left over from everyone else's meals. (it was more than he got at the Dursley's, that much was true)
- He had shelter. (also more than he got at the Dursley's, with how often he was locked out)
- They healed up the wounds they inflicted (something about the mental scars hurting more, which, mood)
- And, his Master, though rough and often cruel, looked after him and gave him little gifts every now and then when he was a good boy. -
