    Summary

    I write this in full knowledge that it puts to reality an aspect of Ishgardian culture that many would rather keep to whispered word of mouth. Writing this is in direct opposition of such confidentiality, but I do this not out of malice, aggression, or pointed defiance towards its people.

     

    I write down this record of events so that I can trust in my own hand that it did actually occur. That it was no dream. It was and continues to be a beneficial and glorious tradition that I now participate in. If you do not believe me, this is of no consequence. I believe me. As both a part of my autobiography and my continued anthropological studies of Etheirys, here it shall be written.
