When Mei decides to come back to the Hyperion Battleship to take a break from divulging the secrets of Elysian Realm, She was nervous on the first few visits.
Due to the events prior, no one blamed her for being uncomfortable in the Hyperion.
Expecting a dirty and judging looks from the staff.
Preparing to listen through a emotionally painful protest.
Avoiding every corner and passageways that could possibly lead to harassment.
And the thing is she can't fight back.
To her mind, she deserved them.
Now?
She can rest easy as every staff in the Hyperion welcomed her back with smiles and hugs as if they truly missed her.
Hajime even proposed the idea of her being Bridge Duty valkyrie with Theresa's and Fu Hua's approval.
The one who was supposed to act as his bridge duty valkyrie didn't even mind as Elysia wanted to know more how Mei came to be.
The first mate of the Hyperion was even excited to hear how the original trio became St. Freya's valkyries.
"Oh~ Glad that you were still protecting Kiana after you became a herscherr." Elysia gave Mei a fond look.
"I am still pissed at the idea of someone implanting a bomb next to your heart whenever you couldn't control herscherr powers."
"Himeko suggested it." The herscherr tried to mitigate his anger by pointing out who thought of that insane idea.
It didn't work.
"Yeah. I am still pissed about it." Hajime grumbled as he kept typing on his holotab.
"Willing to kill yourself just in case you turned evil............. Good idea, my butt........"
He even glared at Mei.
"You don't even get a pass from me, young lady. Herscherr or not, that was not an excuse for agreeing to the damn idea in the first place." He turned back to his work, causing Ellie to giggle at the sight. Kiana giggled as she reassured to Mei that he isn't mad at her.
Raiden Mei chuckled as she truly missed the Hyperion and Hajime as her captain.
"To be fair, Hajime. It was a countermeasure just in case Mei turned evil." Theresa sheepishly smiled at him as she was trying to defend's Himeko's choice of action.
"You couldn't have a honkai-powered anesthetic on hand or something? Killing her off sounds a tad bit extreme. Even for my taste. And that says a lot coming from me." Elysia chuckled at her pissed husband.
"Awww~ Don't get mad, hubby. At least Mei's back here safe and sound." Hajime grumbled as Elysia leaned on her hands.
"Don't worry Mei. This is his way of saying that he loves you." The valkyrie chuckled at how Hajime can be cute sometimes.
Seeing Hajime so hissy, Elysia gave him a hug and pet his back as if he was a kitten.
A very angry, very stressed and a very spicy red kitten.
"GETOFFME!" He tried to struggle as he wanted to get back to work and yet somehow couldn't escape from Ellie's tight clutches.
Seriously, There is a reason why all of Fire Moths and some of the Flame chasers are scared of this woman.
So seeing Hajime resisting his wife's very tight embrace says something.
Nevertheless, All of the valkyries giggled how cute this scene was.
"How long has he been like this?" Mei turned and asked Theresa.
"Probably after World Leaders Convention 2 -3 weeks ago. After that, he kept working as if something or someone pissed him off." Fu Hua nodded in confirmation.
"It's very rare to see him this mad unless a certain valkyrie is involved. What happened there?" Both captains crossed their arms.
"It's a World Leaders Convention, Mei. What do you think it happened?" Both Theresa and Fu Hua raised their eyebrow at her while maintaining their blank look, causing the herscherr of Thunder to 'ah'.
"He didn't kill anyone, did he?"
"Nope. After what they said about the Valkyries? I almost let him though." Mei widened her eyes at Fu Hua.
"I said almost. Him giving them a punch to the face was satisfying to watch though." Mei covered her mouth to chuckle and watch the comedic couple captains.
"Oooh~ Can I pet him too, Elysia?" Elysia giggled and let Kiana pet.
"My~My~ Now this is a cat i would like to have despite being a dog person myself."
"Well....... I admit.......... His hair feels as soft as Stan's."
"Captain's stress level is high. Bronya's current top priority is to stroke his back. Bronya wishes that captain had a tail."
And........ we could see the veins throbbing from his forehead despite being pampered by his valkyries.
Honestly, most men would have called this heaven.
Not him though.
"IAMNOTACAT!" He finally broke free which caused Elysia and Kiana to pout in disappointment.
The dude hates getting pampered.
He likes giving attention to his valkyries as he wants to treat them with respect they deserves.
He just doesn't like receiving it back.
"Thank you. Now, If you excuse me, I need to go back to work."
All of the present valkyries pouted at the sight.
"No matter what we tried, we couldn't make him stop working." Durandal crossed her arms.
"And Master Hajime is so emotionally and physically stressed during those weeks. Master Elysia and I were doing our best but sadly that didn't help." Rita frowned while looking at her captain.
"Fu Hua and I tried to order him to take a few days off but after what happened back then.............. I didn't want to push our luck." Hajime turned around and scowled at the two captain.
"YOU TWO SENT ME ON A MARRIAGE LEAVE WITH ELYSIA FOR THREE WEEKS." The two female captains averted their eyes from the man, whistling.
"Wait....... I thought you said you loved your honeymoon with her?" Kiana cocked an eyebrow.
"THEY DID IT WITHOUT MY CONSENT. And you of all people should know what it feels like being duped." He glared at the two valkyrie captains.
"To be fair, you needed the break." Fu Hua readjusted her glasses.
"I like working in the Hyperion, Fu Hua. SO DEAL WITH IT....." We could see Hajime's stressed look slowly morphing into the look of insanity.
And You can't honestly blame the valkyries for trying to stop him.
Seriously, The man looks like he is about to go unhinged for the next few minutes.
"Oh, come on. Hajime. We had a great time together." Elysia hugged his arm causing him to sigh.
"That we did." He pointed out with a blank look.
"But I'm still pissed at the fact that you ordered Bronya and Ai-chan to deny me access to the Hyperion's system. A guy couldn't even put in a single paperwork for crying out loud."
"And that's why we told them to not let you in. We knew that you would keep on working even in your vacation. You asked for a month off just you could work on to find Mei." Mei raised her eyebrow at him.
"I honestly thought you would actually take a month off and let your search with Mei be a small side hustle. Not the other way around." He turned back to his holotab with grumpy look.
"I didn't know you actually go that far, Captain." Mei gave him a side-hugged and gave him a kiss on a cheek.
"Thank you very much, captain." As he nodded after acknowledging the kiss.
"I got to give it to you, Hajime. You survived being with her for 3 weeks. Most of the flamechasers in my time could barely last a day."
"Are you kidding? I got physically and emotionally exhausted after that." He stretched out his back to let a few pop sounds out.
Wanting to help out her comrades, she decided to share a story before the 3rd Great Honkai Eruption.
When she was a model student at Chiba Academy.
Maybe even before that.
"Well........ Years before i met Kiana, If i often get overwhelmed during my days as the next heir to ME Corp, My father would let me stroll around in Nagazora."
"I never like buying expensive things or those that are in sale. But seeing new and different items displayed on the window often piques my curiosity where i often learn more things about them."
"I often get excited when there is a new restaurant opening up and i usually be the first customer. I always adored and cherished their meals there."
"Don't you have your own servants to do that for you?" All except Hajime were drawn in to the story.
"It felt special because i was treated as a normal person there. And after that, i wanted to learn how to cook and wanted to give the same amount of love and friendliness through cooking." The valkyries 'aww'ed' and the original trio hugged each other.
"What i am trying to say is........... Experiencing new things can be often life-changing or at least stress relieving."
"It is not unheard of that trying something new would at least help out the stress." Fu Hua stated her thoughts.
"Good idea. But this is Hajime we are talking about. It is almost impossible for him to take an hour off, let alone stroll around in Soukai. We only got lucky those times."
"Y'all do realize that i am right here?" He kept assessing the information on his holotab while taking a few notes.
You got to give credit to the guy.
He sure knows how to be hardworking.
"I swear..... It's like he is more married to the Holotab than to you, Elysia." The herscherr of Thunder crossed her arms.
Hearing what Mei said, Elysia slyly smiled.
She slowly approached the captain with her hands behind her back.
"Say....... Ha~Ji~Me~ If we were to say........... take your attention away from your holotab for a few hours, would you agree on hanging out with us as we just stroll around the city?" She said that with a usual cheer and sweetness in her voice.
"Oh? Yeah. I might need to bring my credit card and wallet though. In case some of you might get hungry." Elysia giggled and winked at the Overseer.
Theresa cocked an eyebrow as she was curious on what was Elysia up to.
She wanted to ask but decided to lay low and see if she could give her more clues.
"But if you are asking me if you want something from a store, I don't see why do you need to walk around the shopping district when we could just looked it up from the online store and have it delivered to our home.
It is cheaper and faster this way.
It gets more work done too." As he mindlessly stated while focusing on the holotab.
Finally realizing Ellie's plan as he finished said that, Theresa smirked.
"Oh. No need for you bring your wallet and credit card.
After all, we have accumulated enough funds to have buy something we want. As we all know, being a valkyrie pays a lot. We just want you to be with us while we take a stroll. We just want you to leave your holotab behind." He nodded.
Mindlessly thinking about his conversation earlier while working, he took deep breaths.
"Risking your life saving the world and you get paid less as a result?
I am not letting that happen. Not on my watch." As he clicked his tongue remembering the awful memory of someone taking advantage of the valkyries.
Finally realizing what these two were up to, Rita raised a finger on her lips to the valkyrie to be quiet, in which they nodded.
She gestured them to slowly surround Hajime with her finger.
She only hoped that he doesn't realize the situation.
Unfortunately for the Schicksal's Maid of Roses, Hajime is way smarter than that.
He stopped typing on his holotab and turned to the valkyries with his eyes wide open.
He narrowed his eyes at them as he caught them red handed.
"NO."
"Oh come on. Hajime. You need this."
"NO. I DON'T."
"Don't make us do this, Master Hajime."
"YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PRY THIS HOLOTAB FROM MY COLD, DEAD HANDS." As he slowly backed away with his holotab clutching to his chest after seeing them approaching him.
"PRY THAT OFF HIM, GIRLS!" All of the valkyries lunged at him in which Hajime quickly pressed an Emergency Command Button on his Holotab with his thumb.
Every light was turned off and the bridge view camera were shut down.
No one could see a thing.
"OW!"
"Ugh....... Bronya's head is aching from the collision."
"My~Oh~My. This is unbecoming of me."
"Did anyone get him?" Theresa loudly ask in the dark.
"No." As they all responded in unison in the dark.
After that mess, the lights went back on.
Both Elysia and Theresa assessed the situation and hopefully see where Hajime was as the lights didnt went out that long.
Unfortunately for both of them, He was already gone.
The valkyries couldnt catch him and they sensed a usage of global time fracture device.
They realized that he used GTF device to get away.
"Darn. He escaped."
"Well....... He couldn't have gone that far. We are on a flying battleship that is hovering more than 10000 feet off the air."
"Well...... Good thing we can use our surveillance system to track him down." Theresa typed in on the desk.
ACCESS DENIED.
"Heh? Ai-chan? What's going on? Why the Hyperion didnt grant me access to the surveillance cameras?"
"Sorry. Theresa. Hajime took direct control of the Hyperion's computer systems that are only qualified for the captain of the Hyperion.
Even Ai-chan feels useless to help you now." The valkyries watched the Hyperion green haired elf sat in the corner, wallowing in despair.
"Can Aillie help us, Ellie?" Elysia tried to ask but Aillie reappeared in front of them, sitting beside the Hyperion AI, wallowing.
"No....... Once Master Hajime pressed that emergency control button, No one except who is holding the holotab has complete control of those systems.
Any action towards to those systems is treated as hacked.
And You looking up on the surveillance cameras that requires captain's permission is considered as breach to the Hyperion's computer system."
"WHAT?! WHY DID HE DO THAT?!"
"He wanted to prevent another World Serpent incident." Bronya widened her eyes how clever that plan is.
"Bronya sees this a good plan as it is more wise to sever the connection between the hacker from the computer than fighting the hack itself. And seeing how he temporarily shut everything down, he made us lose control with the advanced part of Hyperion from the start."
"Well...... Preventing things to happen is better than stopping it." Durandal crossed her arms with an amused smile.
"NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO COMPLIMENT HIM!" Theresa sighed. "Bronya? Can you hack into Hyperion?"
"Bronya could but it would take time. Bronya honestly recommends that the valkyrie acquires that holotab.
After all, Theresa is possibly suggesting that Bronya should hack the computer while letting it activate the Zaychik Protocol." Theresa flinched as she knew what would happen if Bronya gets hacking into that.
That would possibly take hours
Their day would have ended by the time they hacked into the computer.
Theresa sighed with rubbing her forehead.
"At least, The Emergency command button didn't impede the staffs work right?"
'Affirmative. Only those that requires Captain-level access are restricted.
He basically made you lose all of your title as 'Captain' in the eyes of the Hyperion, Master Overseer." Theresa leaned on the desk as she listened to both of the AI.
"Do we still have our communications and access to the whole interior map of the Hyperion?"
"Just not the P. A. system. All communications between staff are still fair game."
"As for the map, We can display the holographic interior of the Hyperion as most staffs that are on shift need them to navigate around, Master Theresa." Theresa nodded with a smile.
"Can't honestly blame them. It is a big ship."
""All right, girls. We will play the game of "FIND THE SPICY KITTEN" with the captain." All of the valkyries smiled, giggled or nodded.
"I will stay here to look at possible ways as how Hajime escaped by examing the map. You should do the search by pairs." They all nodded after watching the short overseer looked assessing the hologram
"Good. Now. FIND HIM!"
"Right!" The valkyries left with amused look on their faces.
"All right. Hajime. If you are going to play. Let's play." Theresa leaned on the table with a smile.
The valkyries have a different way of showing their love to the captain.
And If loving him means that they have to drag his sorry butt away from his work so he could take a break, then why not?
After all, Hajime's stressed and unhinged look shows that he needs it despite not saying it.
Anyways........................................
Let the 'SEARCH FOR THE SPICY KITTEN' begins!
Durandal and Kiana entered the Simulation room as it was one of the areas that required captain level access.
Both entered and take a look around.
"Looks like he is not here, Durandal." As Kiana stated after a few minutes of searching.
"Apparently so. Come on, Kiana. Let's report it to Overseer."
CLICK!
They heard the door got locked and the simulation got turned on.
"Was that.......?"
"Yeah. He locked us in here."
"NOT FUNNY, HAJIME!"
"Y'ALL NOT GOING TO STOP ME FROM WORKING. IT 'S MY SAFE SPACE ."
Both Durandal and Kiana made a blank face as they both heard him through the simulation room's speaker.
"Well. Since he locked us in here, we might as well fight the simulation.
After all, the door automatically unlocks once we are done battling it." Kiana prepared her greatsword with a nod while Durandal stretched out her shoulders and circled them as she stabbed her lance to the ground.
When the enemy appeared, they both smiled on who it was.
After all, There is never a good reason to not fight False God Otto.
It's Otto, for crying out loud.
"Oh..... I am going to have fun with this."
"Agreed." As they both charged to strike the simulation.
Hajime watched through the surveillance and sighed in relief.
"Good. That will buy me enough time to finish my work."
Looks like he isn't in the simulation room, folks.
ON TO THE NEXT PAIR!
"Bronya wished that the hallways weren't narrow and short for Project Bunny to navigate."
"It wouldn't be a good idea to turn into your herscherr form when we are looking for him."
"Is it because Captain might have put the security mechs on high alert and might've mistaken us as enemies?"
"No. That isn't Hajime style. He doesn't have it in him to hurt us.
I am just suggesting you that because it might quickly tire you out.
We could find him more quickly that way but we should preserve our energy for later." Bronya chuckled.
"Is Mei that excited to bring him to shopping?" Mei chuckled.
"Of course i am. All of The Hyperion are hanging out with the captain like family.
It is honestly been a while since we last did that. Don't you think so too, Bronya?" Bronya smiled and nodded.
"It's good to have you back in The Hyperion, Mei."
"Me too." As Mei let the shorter valkyrie hugged her.
CLANK!
They both followed the noise and traced it back to the ventilation tunnels.
"CRAP!" As they heard a familiar voice once they both looked at it.
"Somehow, It does not surprise Bronya that Hajime is hiding in there."
"Same." Both Valkyries stared with a blank look.
Mei helped Bronya reached for the grates.
As Bronya took a peak, she was surprised to see that nothing or no one was there.
"Is Hajime there, Bronya?"
"Nyet. The tunnels are empty."
"What? How? We literally heard him scream in there a few seconds ago." As she put Bronya down.
CLANK!
CLANK!
CLANK!
"Well...... Bronya finally has the answer to that question, Mei."
"For a guy is about 5 foot 7 or so, he sure knows how to move quickly in the ventilation tunnels." Bronya nodded to Mei's comment.
Both valkyries kept following the clanking noise, not knowing that they were just a following a remote controlled small but fast spider mech bot.
Shame.
ON TO THE NEXT!
Both Fu Hua and Rita decided to team up together and use their investigation skills to find Hajime.
And they both started in the area filled with People.
"You sure that Hajime is hiding here, Rita?"
"I wouldnt say that i am certain, Master Fu hua. It is more of a lady's intuition.
After all. During our old days, Hajime often hide in the crowd and put on a mask so he could let me in and do my work ordered by the Previous Overseer."
"Yeah...... It makes sense that Otto taught him and you a thing about disguises or two." Rita nodded in confirmation.
They investigated and even asked the staff if they have seen the captain of the Hyperion.
None have seen the man.
They entered in the kitchen and saw multiple chefs discussing with each other.
Curious why they aren't cooking for staff since lunch was about to start, Rita asked.
"Is there a problem, Head chef?"
"Oh? Miss Rossweisse. It's so nice to see you here." Rita returned the greeting with her usual maiden bow.
"Nothing's a problem of sorts. While we are waiting for the stew to cook, I am teaching the new transfers here that sometimes it is best to keep an open mind as it helps you learn new recipes. They recently came from North East Branch of Schicksal."
Realizing that some of the chefs are interns from St. Freya culinary division, Rita and Fu Hua greeted them back.
"Is it true that you are always willing to learn despite being an S rank valkyrie?" Both valkyries nodded.
"And Master Durandal doesn't mind you testing new recipes now and then?" Rita smiled sweetly while Fu hua chuckled.
"Oh...... I didn't know. I thought it would best to be good at what you do. I always sucked at trying new recipes." The younger chefs looked ashamed at their own weakness. Pitying the young chef, Rita decided to share a few secrets about Hajime and Elysia.
"You recently heard both Captain Hajime and Captain Elysia of the Hyperion, correct?"
"Who doesn't?"
"Did you also know that those two are rookie cooks in the kitchen?"
"No. I didn't. Are they really that bad?" Rita and Fu hua chuckled.
"I wouldn't call it bad. It's just that they are not on par with both of our cooking. It is acceptable and satisfying but not gourmet level." Fu Hua crossed her arms with a smile just to confirm Rita's statement.
"Captain even asked for my notes and tips for my Shenzhou specialty cuisine and thanked me for being his teacher." All of the present chefs widened their eyes as how bizarre that sounded.
Captain calling his valkyries teacher? that's like saying Durandal calling Himeko sensei despite the former outranks the latter.
"Master Elysia even came for me to teach her how to bake delicious sweets." She giggled at the memory. "I even remembered her exact words to me."
'Thank you very much, Teacher Rita. I hope that i get to keep learning from you as my teacher." They all looked at two valkyries as if they grew another head.
"Believe it or not, that actually happened. All because they wanted to try new recipes."
"I feel sorry for Captain Hajime though. Elysia is sweet but her pastries leaves a lot to be desired. And he is often the first to taste them." Rita giggled.
"Seeing him passed out on the floor for tasting so absurdly sweet will always something to remember." Fu Hua chuckled.
"I never knew those two are so humble to their subordinates."
"Why wouldn't they be? After all, they are handling army of valkyries that are risking their lives to save the world from Honkai. If they didn't give any amount of respect towards us, no staff, let alone valkyries, would have been under their command."
They all watched two valkyries put on their cooking apron and smiled at them.
"How about Master Fu Hua and I teach you a thing ot two about recipes that are foreign to you?" All fresh chefs were eager to learn from the 2 S ranked valkyries that were expert to their cuisine and they are taking notes of everything they did with a huge smile.
The two Valkyries didn't mind that they needed to halt their investigation to find the red-haired captain for a while.
After all, teaching the new generation, valkyrie or not, is always something worth to consider.
In all honesty, Hajime got lucked out on this one.
An engineer of Hyperion decided to take a break.
He took a can of soda from the nearby vending machine and headed straight to the Hyperion's battleship balcony.
He enjoyed the view from the sky and the ambience more.
He took a deep breath and appreciated how quiet it was.
"Oh, Hey, captain." As he closed his eyes and took a deep sip after looking around.
He saw the captain was sitting on his greatsword that is deeply rooted to the hull of the Hyperion as if it was a hanging chair.
"Sup." He heard a reply and let the captain work on his holotab.
"...................."
"....................."
The engineer finally processed what happened and did a spit-take.
"WHAT THE HELL?! WHY ARE YOU............" Hajime shut him up.
"Would you shush? I am hiding."
"You are a captain of the Hyperion. What on earth that scares you so much that you decided to hide by dangling from hull of the ship?" The engineer watched him opened his mouth and yet a holler interrupted him.
"Ha~Ji~Me~ Where~ Are~ You~ Darling?" The engineer finally realized why he was hiding as she watched the pink elf walking on the hallway.
"Captain Ellie?"
"Mmhmm."
"Well........... Uhmmmmmm............. Good luck?" Hajime gave a blank look and nodded.
The engineer parted from him as Hajime kept on working on his holotab while sitting on his greatsword.
"This ship, i tell ya....................." The engineer left after throwing the can to the trash.
Hajime was almost finished early for his work that needed to be done today. He has now other works to do for the whole week.
And it was 11:10 in the afternoon.
Somebody please stop him.
We could literally see steam coming out of him.
Due to the quiet ambience, he could focus a little bit more than he could.
One thing was bothering him though.
He was thirsty.
"If only i have something to drink." He sighed.
"Here you go, Hajime~" He watched a plastic bottle of water reached out in front of him.
"Oh? Thanks Ellie." As he mindlessly accepted the drink.
"Hehehe~" As he mindlessly heard a giggle beside him while drinking.

"..................~"
Finally realizing who was with him, he did a spit-take and widened his eyes at her while trying not to fall to his demise.
"Oh........ Hi Ellie." She waved back with a cute smile. "How long have you been standing there?" He couldn't escape because he has no way out.
"Oh....... Long enough for me to appreciate how handsome you really are sitting like that~" He looked around for a way out.
There were two ways.
Fall down to his death.
Escape through the balcony where Elysia was his only obstacle.
He sadly didn't have any better options.
She snaked her hands to his hand and slowly grasped his holotab from him.
He tried resisting but Ellie gave her a mischievous smile.
"You know i am stronger than you, Hajime." She slowly removed one of his fingers from his holotab.
"I want to keep working, Ellie." She giggled.
"No, You really don't. You have been working on your frustrations for a while now and it isn't emotionally healthy." She gave him the baby Ellie look.
He always hated the look.
Emphasizing her cute baby-like eyes and her frown as if she wanted to cry.
She looked absolutely adorable with it.
He tried to avert his eyes and resisted with the same amount of wills.
But........
There is one thing that is always true when it comes to Hajime in the battle of wills with Ellie.
He isn't stronger than Ellie.
Seriously folks.
Never engage a battle of wills with the Miss Pink Elf.
Just. Don't.
Darn you, Ellie.
Also...........
You are weak, Hajime.
"Fine........... You girls win." He sighed as he finally let go.
"Yayyyy~ Now all of us can take the city for a walk.
Who knows? It might get your mind off from work and keeps your noggin fresh." He nodded with a faint but tired smile.
Since he finally agreed, he tried to unmount himself from the sword but Ellie stopped him.
"How about i help you get off? You might give me heart attack when you get down." He appreciated the gesture.
He just didn't like how Elysia looked at him, all slyly like that.
He would assumed that Ellie had another 'fun' way to get him off from the hull of the ship.
He would be correct.
"Can anyone tell me why the valkyries in the Hyperion are running around in the ship?" As one of the workers talked to each other during their breaktime with coffee on hand.
"I honestly heard that they were looking for the captain."
"Oh? Is he lost or something?"
'Who knows? All i know is that they have been going at it for a while." All of them drank their coffee.
One decided to turn around to drink again.
What he saw made him cough out the contents of the beverage and patted his own chest.
"What happened to you?" The almost-drowned man pointed at where he was pointing while the other two kept drinking.
It was understandable why the 1st man almost choked while the other 2 spit-took.
The three watched Captain Elysia walking down the hallway while carrying Captain Hajime tucked in her arm as if he was her whale plushie.
"Girls~ I finally found him. We can finally take him on a date to Soukai City right now!"

The three workers watched the two captains left with a flabbergasted look.
"Did Captain Ellie just carried him in the hallway like he was a teddy bear?"

"You gotta admit though. Landing a bomb-shell of a wife like that who also happens to be a valkyrie? I am a bit jealous of him."

The day ended with a small group picture, taken by Aillie, of the Hyperion squad eating at a Hot Pot restaurant with a huge smile on their faces.
Yes. Even Hajime was genuinely smiling in the picture as well.
Theresa was playing on her Homu-Shift while playing against Fu Hua and Bronya with similar consoles but different colors for their casing.
Theresa had bitter melon green.
Bronya had beach blue.
Fu Hua had fire red.
And you can guess who are losing in the game.
Rita was covering her mouth as if she was laughing how comedic it is to watch her Master Durandal trying to feed Stan with outmost difficulty as it hated normal and basic cat food and trying to escape from Master Kiana's strong clutches.
Felis, the Hajime's and Elysia's house cat, was sleeping soundly on Mei's lap.
Mei couldn't even resist chuckling how messy Kiana looked as the latter was helping Durandal.
Sensing how relaxed Felix is on her lap, Mei kept stroking its fur, earning her purrs from the disciplined pet.
We could even see that Elysia and Hajime joining in the comedy while grasping each other's hand under the table.
And from the looks of it, they were still having fun while aiting for their meal to arrive.
They didnt mind.
The longer the day, the livelier the party can get.
It doesn't hurt to take a break from work once in a while, no?
