“Car, wake up- it’s snowing!” Maya whispered as she gently shook Carina awake just as the sun had fully risen. Carina mumbled something and rolled over. Maya repeated “It’s snowing! Come on we have to have a snowball fight in our new backyard!” She then dragged Carina up out of bed and the two got ready to go outside, Maya much more enthusiastically than Carina who did not like the cold or being woken up.
The couple made it outside to their new winter wonderland Maya running around like a child and Carina standing watch from the porch with her arms folded in an effort to stay warm. Suddenly Carina was hit from the side with a snowball. She turned to see Maya running away giggling. Carina chuckled to herself and then picked up some snow and began chasing after Maya. She finally caught her and the two continued to throw snowballs at each other for sometime.
Eventually Maya scooped up Carina and threw her gently into a snow bank. They both were in a fit of laughter but when they settled a bit Carina kissed Maya passionately and simply said “I love you.”
