Chapter Text
Glitch POV:
My eyes shot open as I gasped for life. My breaths were quick and panicked as the smell of salt and mold filled my lungs. I pushed myself off of the mattress I was on and whipped my head side to side. Next to me on my left was a girl about my age. She held out her arms and told me
“Hey, easy easy! You were gone for a bit. I managed to bring you back to life.” She looked at me with a straight face. Her milky white eyes showed a look of concern and worry. “You took a pretty bad knock to the head. Your brains likely scrambled from all the head trauma, but you will recover shortly.”
“My name is glitch. My name is glitch, and you are Helena.”
“That is correct. Let me get you up to speed. The 6 of us, you, me, Aoi, Akane, Trixie and Saki, all busted out of Magmas underground base. We stole a ship, which we are currently on, and the ship crashed. While you were unconscious, Aoi had a dream that said that we all need to round up some people and go to magmas Abandoned base in Canada.” Aoi and Akane were twins. Aoi has ice and water manipulation powers, and Akane has Fire manipulation abilities. Aoi also has the gift of future sight. Saki is a very intelligent human-bear hybrid with enhanced strength. Helena is a mix between a human and an alien called a Plazmazoid. She can secrete plasma from her skin, control many aspects of that plasma, and hover up to a foot off the ground.
“Who do we need?”
“We first need to find Moonjelly, who is currently at the avenger’s compound. Moonjelly might also be able to help wake up Trixie.”
“Is Trixie still not awake?” I asked. Ever since an incident at the MAGMA base, Trixie had been in a catatonic state. She had electricity manipulation abilities, but they were useless when she was in this state. Helena nodded. “Dang it. If Moonjelly can’t wake Trixie up, then we will have to leave Trixie with Bix.”
“I suppose so. How about I grab the others, and we can make a plan of what to do.”
“That sounds good.” I replied, and Helena left the room we were in. she came back moments later with Saki, Aoi, and Akane in tow. Saki was carrying a limp Trixie in her arms.
“Has Helena told you about my dream yet?” Aoi Asked.
“Yes, she has. She told me that your dream said that we had to get Moonjelly. Is there anyone else we need to get?”
“We need to find Sparky, who also lives in New York. After that, we have everyone we need.”
“And why do we need Patchwork? I know who she is, but why do we need to find her now?”
“Something bad is happening. I don’t know how, but patchwork can help us.”
“Ok, we need to start heading to the avenger’s compound as soon as we can.”
“I ransacked the ship. I grabbed every morsel of food there was.” Saki said. “I can Carry Trixie for now.”
“Alright, we need to get going now. We need to find the other two as soon as we can.” I said with an unshakable confidence.
We then left the crashed ship and started our journey through the woods.
