Crunchy Chip suddenly screamed loudly inside of his room, hitting his head against the wall hard, as he quickly covers his own mouth after realizing that it was 3 in the morning when he saw the clock at the corner of his eye.
The short Cacaoian warrior looks around the room a bit before noticing the tall Hollyberrian, Wildberry was worried and frowning as he was looking down at him with a worried face. “Crunchy Chip...Calm down, ok? You're safe. You just had another nightmare, alright?” Wildberry says, giving the captain a small warm and reassuring smile.
But Crunchy, however felt something warm dripping down from the back of his head. When Crunchy moved his hand to feel and see it...It was Jam, causing him to panic quite a bit.
Though Wildberry only frowned as he sighed before grabbing a few tissues from his pockets before giving some reassuring words to the captain. “Crunchy Chip, calm down...I know that may not look good but please, stay calm...I'll take care of it.”
“Calm down!? Can't you see that I'm bleeding Jam! How is this something you can't be calm about?-” Before the Cacaoian could have said more, the Hollyberrian put a finger between the lips of Crunchy Chip. “You'll be fine, I just need you to breathe in and out, slowly.” The captain was about to say something else but his eyes met with the other and nodded, slowly breathing in...1, 2, 3, 4. And then slowly out... 1, 2, 3, 4.
“Like that, I just need to...Wipe the jam off and you'll be fine..While I'm doing that...I need you to keep doing that.” Wildberry gave the bleeding warrior a small gentle smile as he used the tissues to rub the jam off the back of the Cacaoian. While Wildberry was doing that, Crunchy Chip continued to breathe in and out slowly, he knew the Hollyberrian knew all kinds of stuff so he trusted him with whatever he was doing.
“Just...stay with me here, alright..? Breathe in...Breathe out... Don't think of anything else. Ok...? Keep doing that...You'll be fine, you're fine..Don't worry about anything.” Wildberry continued to rub the Jam off of Crunchy Chip, but then the Cacaoian wondered and asked the tall Hollyberrian. “I...W-won't die from this...right..?”
The Hollyberrian stops what he was doing and looks at the Captain. “You won't die here, Chip... We'll get through this, ok?” Before giving another reassuring smile to the short Cacaoian, continuing where he left off as he reminds Crunchy to continue breathing in and out slowly.
“You're doing great, chip... Just...keep doing that, alright...?” Finally Wildberry finishes as he puts the jammed up tissues into the trash bin, then he walks back to Crunchy to hold both of his hands smiling once more as the Captain felt his eyelids getting heavier.
Wildberry frowned a bit, shaking his head some more before smiling gently at his friend. “G...good..Now, once you're ready... You..can...sleep...” Wildberry says, turning his head away from his beloved captain as the captain asked once more. “I won't die...right..?”
“You'll be fine...Chip, and of course not... You're not going to die, the jamloss is slowly...Stopping, you'll...be fine.... A-are you ready to sleep..?”
The Hollyberrian, Wildberry. smiles at his beloved Cacaoian, Crunchy Chip to reassure him. The captain nods, laying down onto the bed.
“Then, you can sleep now. Close your eyes and get some rest... You'll be fine... I'm here for you, Ok...?” And with that, Crunchy chip closes his eyes slowly while looking at his friend, and smiling back at him.
Wildberry frowns, slowly approaching the sleeping Cacaoian..stroking the hair of his friend who's asleep peacefully, “I'll keep you safe, Crunchy Chip... I promise you..And, you also deserve to have peaceful sleep... For everything you've been through, you...Deserve it..” Wildberry gives his friend a gentle hug, sobbing quietly to himself...
