team is lying on the bed, a laptop on his pillow when he gets the message. team groans as he reads the contents of the text he just got from pharm. it was pharm asking to cancel as he had to deal with some 'traumatic events from his past life' with dean which is totally a normal thing people do.
"hey hia... pharm and p'dean aren't coming for the movie night." he calls out to win who just walked out of the shower as if on cue.
"ah okay. why aren't they coming?"
"something to do with their past lives." he answered.
"that's a totally normal thing to do." win snickered.
"that is exactly what i thought." team answers.
"well, whatever. we can just watch the movie with each other."
"yeah. c'mere."
win walks over to the bed and sits up next to team. team plays the movie. it's a random rom-com team found on netlix and he thought it'd be perfect for a double date. he knows both him and dean would prefer a horror movie but for his boyfriend's and his best friend's sake, he chose a rom-com instead. of course, win loves rom-coms which means team now watches a great deal of rom-coms. in fact, win made him watch so many classic rom-coms that team kind of likes them now. win too has started to like a lot of horror movies and although he still gets scared when they watch them together, team's presence dulls the fear to a great extent.
win relaxes his body and team rests himself against win's body and sighs in satisfaction.
fifteen minutes later, team is completely engrossed in the movie but clearly win isn't because he slides his hands under team's hoodie and team involuntarily lets out a low sound. "is the movie not good?" team questions.
"it is a very good movie, team."
team turns to look at win. win draws small circles on team's stomach and keeps his eyes on the screen while team keeps his eyes on win. "hia," team whines. "you just said it is a good movie but i don't think you're paying attention."
"i am paying attention."
team puts his hand under his own hoodie over win's long fingers to stop him and behind him, win lets out a noise of disappointment. "okay then tell me the plot of this movie."
"well the plot is that the guy is in love with the other guy. the plot is that they are in love?"
"hia... that's the plot of almost all rom-coms. that tells me nothing."
"exactly and that's the plot of this movie as well."
"why are you so distracted?" team raises his eyebrows.
"well...you."
"me?"
"yeah."
"what did i do?" team asks.
"you are cute and i want you."
team shuffles in the blanket as a deep blush appears on his cheeks. team can never get used to the effect win has over him and whilst he hated it at first, he isn't sure he wants win's words to not go straight to his heart and send a chill down his spine because it's a good feeling and it isn't indicative of what he cannot have anymore, it is indicative of what he will have and hold in the future so he cherishes every word, every glance and every touch because he knows that there is going to be more. the reassurance comforts team, but it also excites him. he wants to kick his legs in excitement but he still wants to preserve the ounce of dignity he has left so he just shuffles around.
"hia!"
"what? i am just being honest."
"honesty is the worst policy."
"i think you've got it severely wrong."
"watch the movie." from under the blanket, team removes his hand and this time, he lets win do whatever he was doing because really, team has no energy left to pretend that he does not like it and although it distracts him from the movie, the movie is just not worth it if he is being honest.
but then, it gets worse (or better) when win puts his mouth on team's neck and he is a devil for doing that because that's his sensitive spot and team has to stop himself from rolling his eyes because it feels so good. win kisses him on the neck, soft, wet and so slow that team's entire body goes limp beside win and he can't stop himself from letting out small whimpers. he cannot hear the sound from his screen, he can only hear his own staccato breaths and win's almost uneven breathing. when win suddenly stops and signals team to go back to watching the movie, team kisses him on the mouth because he wants to and he can. win kisses back almost immediately and when win pulls down team's hoodie to free his collarbones, team's laptop falls down on the floor. at the sound of the crash, team immediately pushes win back and widens his eyes in disbelief.
"oh my god! my laptop!" team hurries to pick his laptop from the floor but win stops him, "i'll just buy you a new one," win breathes out.
"but-"
"i'll buy you the best model."
"hia, no-" win shuts him up with a kiss and makes him lie down on the bed. he holds team's hands over his head and kisses him everywhere and everything else is forgotten.
"hia."
"hm?" win pauses to hear team speak.
"i am so glad that p'dean and pharm canceled."
win smirks and says, "you are a bad friend."
"no i am not. i am just a really good boyfriend."
win laughs at that and kisses team again and team responds just the way he always has and win has to stop kissing him to smile again and in that moment, team feels so much love for win that he wants to cry but instead, he pulls him down to kiss him.
