WandaNat Christmas Drabbles

Summary:

A series of Christmas drabbles in honour of the holiday season, focused on Wanda and Natasha.

Chapter 1: Snow

Chapter Text

The sky was dark as Natasha and Wanda walked through the city, hand in hand. They’d just left the restaurant where they’d had their date and were walking back to their car to head back to the Compound.

It was almost Christmas, meaning it was cold and frosty but both women had dressed warm while still maintaining a sense of stylishness for their date.

There was frost on the windows and on the plant life they walked past, and with the moonlight and other lights, it looked like the city of New York was sparkling.

Wanda smiled contentedly and leaned her head on Natasha’s shoulder as they walked.

“New York is so pretty,” Wanda said quietly, watching the people walk by with Christmas presents and on the phone.

Even at night, it was still fairly busy.

She felt Natasha nudge her slightly and she looked up at her girlfriend.

“Not as pretty as you,” Natasha mumbled cheesily with a smile.

“Nat,” Wanda looked down with a smile.

They’d stopped by their car now, but made no move to get in just yet as they stared at one another.

Just before Wanda or Natasha could say anymore, they paused and looked up a little bit.

Falling down from the dark sky, they spotted countless tiny specks of white floating down towards them.

Wanda gasped with delight and let go of one of Natasha’s hands to hold it palm up. Tiny snowflakes landed weightlessly on Wanda’s palm before melting at the from the heat and leaving behind little pools of water on her hand.

“Snow,” Wanda mumbled as she looked back at Natasha who was watching her fondly.

The both of them were quickly becoming coated in snow, their hair holding countless snowflakes. Against Wanda’s chestnut hair, the white snow was a stark contrast.

“I haven’t seen snow since I was a little girl.”

“Me either,” Natasha said, lifting a hand to brush a snowflake off of Wanda’s cheek. “Merry Christmas, Wanda.”
