Stouch of stones and one.
After the gradual phase out process of with the old order that all durders and
detective-look-alikes used to abide, everything gained its stable footing to where peace and paradise is being established but while keeping the chaos present at times. People can't help but
think, if this isn't getting all too old fashioned by the time this established "construct" of peace is built into the city. And the Duremactives, now just a friend group and after Mayhay resigned
with reasons unknown, the two have since signed a contract with an agency that helps bring down anomalies like magical objects and alike, one that happened a while ago being the magical
printer that they took in the building and street they found it in. Marikous and Jemaw, began sharing an apartment after the find in the myyer, together they both felt content that they might be
able to make a stable income with the effort and help of each-other. The neighbors next door that they had on both sides, along the lines of some familiar old friends, ones that Marikous knows
very well during his time as a police-trainee and ones that he happened to have mutual interest with before the time of having a duremactive group and after the resignation. Although
Marikous didn't really visit his friends during his time as such prestige; he did have many kinds of types. Ranging from some memorable ones that helped his career to go somewhere to nuances
with someone like Vuvo, who he met very dear but didn't seem to be much of a talker, considering they were agents, so he didn't bother pestering them too naively. Jemaw on the other hand
has been curiously reopening parts of the world that she may have accidentally forgotten with stuff like old cassette tape players, though some people have been going on a more CD and
cassette hybrid kind of fashion in terms of those things. Jemaw wasn't too keen on following what was hip and trendy, nor did it seem to interest anyone in the city of Myyer. The things on the
other hand, however, are tight within the agency.
Introduction of an agency.
Within the company, that the other people worked/or work within. The highly qualified known figures of the agency being; Takula, a woman wearing a coat of casual qualities, and something
more akin to referencing a certain someone named 'Sherlock', a popular figure in the detective genre. She's worked with the main spokesperson of the agency before, them being Quobi, an elf
man that arrives from bizarre lands of fantasy to which he started work here not long ago, 2 weeks after her mysterious arrival to the city of Myyer. He dresses in ways that no other, like lower
class workers, do. His work clothes consist of maple leaf themes but enough to look fancy and normal enough for something like a professional job at the agency. And with recent reports they've
been getting, which are objects spawned with time distortion that would happen frequently, and it didn't help with their current predicament being that the janitors are on vacation to their
remote mansions or whatever other utterly bizarre places that they decide to take rest in, this week.
And it was all up to those remaining workers to compensate for it. After a while, Takula then receives papers with reports that the source in all the ruckus of this, has been identified, and all
they need to do now, is try and get rid of it. The source in question looks to be humanoid and is believed to be of ancient origin but seems to be made out of mechanical parts, with it being a
goddess of time. To which, since its unknown cause of activation and it's erratic behavior with it's summonings of distorting time, it seems clear that it's bringing objects from another period, be
it a silver coin or summoning portals to another world entirely, like a world full of stories, that's what they know this entity for. As for who made this giant, and unstable machinery of such,
remains to be a mystery and beyond. They knew they'll have a difficult time knowing who, unless they call in the people that used to do this job and that would be the former duremactive
members, Marikous and Jemaw, minus Mayhay. Who has since left, after the disbandment.
Solving in the continuous stream, of problems
After both were called in and when they arrived, they were filled in with brief information of what's going on and what to expect, Takula's always best fit for these kinds of explanations. "As we
all are aware, there's been a disruption to this lovely city and I'm sure you're aware of why, with the help of newspapers but if you don't know yet then I can fill in real quick." Takula asks one
last
time, before she gets to the real nitty gritty details of this mechanical goddess. The duo, Marikous and Jemaw, nod no. "Alright then, since we don't know how this giant, mechanical piece of
metal, will act up when it's being threaten and I'm sure it'll try to stop you two from deactivating it, or to some form of security, you two will have barriers to boot when that happens, unless it'
s
not like that, then I, myself and Quobi have requested our engineers to implement a fail safe, just incase it goes south than north" Takula then goes onto explain that they'll be using privately
funded ships, meant for space travel and the barriers are meant as a blockage against the thing's way of defensive. "Now, I'll be honest, I can't 100% guarantee your safety but please, handle this
situation carefully." Takula then reminds them of the importance of safety regulations, before guiding the two to a base where these spaceships stand. The spaceships in question almost look
out of place to the city's architectural theme, except the theme of the base and to which; Takula carries to explain that they'll use these spaceships that someone gave to her and use a special
weapon that comes out of the ship's front jaw. "These seems.. very advanced and more out of a science fiction novel, that you would've read once" Marikous comments on the peculiarity of the
spaceships, “Hrmmn, are you sure you didn't bring them out of a place that doesn't belong to anything but this base?" Jemaw catches on with Marikous' comment; Takula has barely any time
left to answer the questions before a voice interrupts them from the base's camera speaker, in the form of a location in the upper ceiling. "Apologizes for the interruption of Jemaw and
Marikous's comments and Takula's struggle to answer them" the voice continues "but we're running low on time and we appreciate if you two could pace up the preparations and destruction to
the annoyance of looming humanoid-like device, that manipulates the space and time continuum" it finishes to the vein of the duo being guided to individual spaceships by Takula herself and
and both being seated. She then gives the two a simple read-over of the layout with the ship and what each thing does, while walking back and forth in the same rhythm, afterwards, the duo
start the engines to the sound of the base's doors opening up. Then both zoom off and into the outside of space, to the dismay of meeting up with the device that's been causing the nonsense of
time manipulation and possible paradoxical contradictions. "Test, test, is this thing audible to the two of you?" Takula tests the universal faraway communications, to which Marikous replies
back with "Yes, we can perfectly hear you, Takula. Though albeit loud", with that sorted. They both start figuring out how to disarm or even destroy it, without alerting their presence in its
vicinity. Considering the engines of the spaceship weren’t silent to some extent and the crew have to put up with that fact, while doing it carefully.
The upper beyond of inner.
As the crew, with their ships sneaking in slowly and quietly. An unexpected disturbance, detected by Takula's quantum detection in her ship, causes her to alert everyone to fall back. As the
things settle down, and then, a ship shows up with a sparkle of faint green mist, just behind the floating and the unstable goddess of time, statue. Judging by appearance alone, it's identical to
the one Marikous and Jemaw are using but, something about it feels off, and unique to the one that both are using. A giant speaker then pops up from the bottom of the ship and squawks to
life "We're here to stop you, on the behalf of preventing a potential paradox collapse, due to this statue's unstable nature-" The speaking ship is quickly interrupted by Marikous speaking back
with the same inbuilt speak with asking a very important question "We get it with the unstable nature part, we've had quite a problem with it for few weeks and why are you here to stop us in
our tracks when we could easily stop it, this destructive, and rather a menace to our lives?", the speaker from the identical ship, which noted has a blue streak on the top and bottom part of the
spaceship, unlike the one Marikous and Jemaw are using, uses a less colorful combination. "Well, if we want to stop this 'menace' that you refer to as, you'd have to get past us, first." The
the blue streak ship's speaker is heard, while the speaker has a smug tone.
Takula, visibly frustrated with this weird nuance, that she and the two others have to face while trying to disarm the statue. In spite of anger, she angles the wheel of the thing and tries to go
around the deemed annoying ship that frankly, has almost the same people too in it. But she halts in her attempted round about as the same ship blocks the way. "Not so fast there, you'd
seriously get potentially hurt there if you ever disturbed it" The blue streaks ship reminds. Meanwhile in Marikous and Jemaw's ship, they plan to try and distract the imposters. Marikous thinks
shooting at their ship would help buy them some time and figure on how to deal with it. They brought out a laser cannon by pressing a red button (note: there are about 10 buttons on the
cockpit of the ship), and shot a laser at the blue streaked ship, they knew the power of stealth, quietness and strength. Just as the laser approaches close to where Takula and the blue streaks
are arguing, Takula notices it before them and moves out of the hit-range. Causing it, with the sound of a sparky noise, to suffer minor damage to the ship and loss of one mechanical part that is
able to keep the ship flying accurately. Using this opportunity, the two then fly a little closer to the statue with ultra-quiet sound mode. They plan to try and damage it, this way it'd make no
more portals from any era that it grapples from the portals to, and no more complaints nor chaos with this thing. Before they plan on that, the statue slightly shakes, with a mild sound of rock
chipping and sounds of machinery emitting from possibly the inside of it. Oh no, was what echoed in both Jemaw's and Marikous' minds, before they activated the ship's shield, that would
protect them temporarily, while Takula takes the chance and shoots a beam at it with her ship, at the statue of the goddess - it takes considerable damage from the beam's blast, due to some of
the metal chipping from one part of it. To which and then, both Marikous along with Jemaw and Takula back off as its parts start to fall off, more and more of itself collapses on itself. Marikous
radios Takula "What's the next plan, if we're gonna deal with something of this magnitude? It looks hefty to contain something like that. Knowing from experience, really"
Takula radios back that she's got a quantum containment squad ready from just enough to leave earth's atmosphere. She analyzed the device, as she later discovered, whilst doing so. The thing
in question seems to be powered by a crystal, non-typical of this earth. "You sure got everything in your arsenal to begin with." Marikous replies, being pretty surprised about Takula's quick
planning. "Guess this is why the company even hired you in the first place, I'm pretty impressed. Though I suppose my prime time has passed its original path" And Takula's gesture to that is a
shrug, then goes on to command the squad, to contain it. Fast-forward all the cliche explosion of the time statue and containment of the remaining pieces by the containment squad, Marikous,
Jemaw and Takula fly back, excluding Takula, the duo are awarded with gratitude by saving the city once again, though past their prime and more so of veteran value. Takula was later on
promoted to executive to properly manage their organization, although she liked her old habits, she isn't regretful that former members of the duremactive group helped her ways to achieving
true success. After that, the duo return home from the intense mission and all the experiences that they've gotten from all this. Marikous questions him slightly about the package that He got it 3 years ago.
The confusion of similar identity, and navigation.
With the while of the similar folk to both that are lost in a mysterious and spacious green bridge of portals, sighed a response from Karious "Uegh, I have a feeling we're at this place, once again"
an alternate timeline version of Marikous where he led a different lifestyle and was proposed to be the original timeline to their whole story than with Marikous, Jemaw and Mayhay. "
Who the hell is that speaking?" Blay questions the voice, also an alternate version of Jemaw. Karious shrugs presence of the ominous voice, as he got up from the ground and points out
that they should focus on finding a way out to their respective timeline, but he reminds them that it won't be easy as this place is the infamous Umlita bridge. A darkness filled, green bridge,
that acts as a interdimensional path for all kind of worldsin form of planets and their timelines. Karious helps Blay up from the ground as they were now out of the ship that they were in,
be it unfortunate or not, they had to find their ways somehow. They started walking down the bridge, though the bridge itself is suspended with ropes that keep it up with solid success
and with even ground. "As far as I'm aware, that the Umlita bridge, loops itself atleast few times with each slightly varying placement of portals, it's all the same place but there some kind of
trickery
to it, I'm not exactly a professional at knowing it but I read a book about it once, I wonder how that was possible" Karious explained about the bridge's oddities, in case Blay might've forgotten
about its overall functionality. While they walked the looped bridge, around 4 times as they counted. Both of them then overheard a slim of echoing with someone talking in the distance
"Hmm, sounds like we're not by ourselves than we've normally thought" Karious says while having observed that kind of echoing, when they approach the source, they found someone that
they read about it before as a myth but not something in fiction of reality, Blay decides to hide behind him. The figure in question when looking at it more, looks like a female blue elf of strange clothing,
carrying a lamp of a genie in it with her saying "Hello stranger, are you or not aware of these distortions in space and time? Because it looks like it's an issue in my place and this genie here has told
me that-" Karious interrupts her briefly and then begins more so getting the note if it's her "It's a pleasure to see you two, Galilo and Omeloi. You may ask or be surprised, on how I know your
names. Personally, it's mainly because I've read and heard about you in my world." He explains "And this place that you're in now, is the Umlita bridge, a little glance into the outside perspective
of the many worlds that you can potentially explore, or not. All depends on you" Omeloi, that's the blue elf, with a thoroughly surprised but excited look on her face says that she's glad to meet
a once to be only a myth person, claimed by people in the city she lives, now turned out to be true. "Ah, I suppose fate meets all in one" He shrugs. He suggests to give this place a try to check out
the worlds that she might be versed or interested as much. Purple colored genie named Galilo seems a bit skeptical of Karious' looks but decides not to ruin Omeloi's hopes. "Well, I thank
you for guiding me in the right ways - see you, until then!" she springs up with a cheerful reply as she walks further to one of the portals in the mysterious placement in Umlita bridge. Karious
breathes in a fresh amount of air at a relaxed pace, as that was too close for his comfort and then carries on with Blay to find their ways out. With the ever going loops of the place, they
may as well be lost for who can know their fate.
