   Summary

   Maybe Wilhelm was prejudiced from the start. What was certain was that he felt lost and riding high on anxiety wasn't exactly useful in his situation. He never wanted to end up in this place - Hillerska was his brother’s old school, never his. He belonged in Stockholm, to its gritty streets and drunken nights. What a good thing his mother gave him no saying; the Queen always had the last word. After a calamitous summer and accidents that had happened, her call was to send him away to a boarding school.
   Wilhelm couldn’t fit in. His brother’s friends weren’t his. Every step he took, they compared him to Erik. His roommate exasperated him and, most importantly, he hated the guts of the guy who lived next door.
