Work Text:

I have always observed

Ever since I was little

I trained excessively

An obedient girl

But today something happened

It is bothering me

Externally and internally

I wonder what could it be

It's about you

So I exasperatedly scoffed

It doesn't matter to me

But something's off

Against my own head

I followed my instincts

I look for you in the Combat's workshop

It's not what I predict

I call out your name

The moment I see your frame

It makes me uneasy

To see you like this

You looked at me

Your tears included

Surprised and bewildered

All things considered

"Are you okay?" is what I could only mutter

You looked like a fish

Trying to say words

Nothing comes out

Against my own head

I followed my instincts

I give you a hug

It illicits a gasp from you

You froze

But reciprocate the embrace

Slowly broke down crying

In my arms, you feel safe

I wonder if you've realized

That you have gotten stronger

You deserve better

My Tekno partner.

Notes:

I wrote this because I want Ali to feel that he's not alone. Not alone with this own thoughts. It's most self projection of how I want someone to guide me whenever i reached to the bottom of the ocean of my headspace.

It feels like all I want to do is escape from my lingering, clinging dark thoughts. Only to be tangled up and delving into a bottomless pit of self hatred. Lately, no matter how much fun I have experience, I want to be buried 6 feet under.
