"You're trapped," came a bright and lilting voice, presumably Kevin. That had been the last face Cecil saw before the darkness encompassed them.
The lights that had flickered out so quickly started to glow again.
"No," Cecil responded, wide mouth grinning to show his sharpened teeth and lolling tongue. "You are trapped in here with me."
The illumination grew with Cecil's smile, until it was revealed they were standing within the Desert Bluff's radio station, bedecked with balloons and crepe paper.
"Surprise." Cecil could feel the smile splitting his face, could hear the angel wings rustling behind them. "Happy Birthday."
