"You want me to wear this?" Eren asked. "In public where everyone can see?"
Levi's face was as unreadable as ever when Eren turned to look at him for reassurance. There wasn't any reassurance to be found there.
"You're going to wear that," Levi said. "You don't like it?"
Eren turned back to the clothes — the dress — hanging on the door. It wasn't really that fancy. It was a black dress that would reach nearly to the floor on him. There was a slit on one side, but it only went to just above the knee. It was sleeveless with a fairly low-cut neckline, but nothing major. Levi was right, too. Eren had worn dresses before (mostly at Levi's request) but this was for a military gala. He'd never even been to one. Most regular scouts didn't get to go to things like that. Eren was only allowed to go at all because he was with Levi.
"I didn't say I didn't like it," Eren said.
