Tsukasa wasn’t usually the type of person to ask for things, even in a relationship. Though, he was always ready to give, and give, and give. Sometimes, he would give until he had nothing left to give.
He was very generous but never asked for anything for himself. Nothing at all. It was something his girlfriends had noticed, they were always quite perceptive, especially when it came to him.
Despite his nature and personality, which portrayed him as the most selfless person, who would help anyone and everyone, sometimes he wanted to be selfish. He wanted to be able to take instead of giving. He wanted to take and take, he wanted to be loved, to be desired, to be showered in adoration.
Little did he know there were a few people who would already give him that, all without him having to ask. Emu, who would jump at the opportunity to spoil him. Nene, despite her brashness, loved Tsukasa just as much as the others. And Rui, who showed her love towards Tsukasa all the time, even though he had never outright expressed his want or need for it.
You know what they say, Christmas is the season of giving!
Tsukasa had made pretty decorations, baked cookies, and gotten into a Christmas-themed outfit, everything was perfect.
Except, that feeling of selfishness was still present in his gut. Why would it be there? He was fulfilled, he was giving his love to his girlfriends, wasn’t he? Wasn’t that enough? Seeing others happy made him happy as well. That was just a fact.
Perhaps it would be smart to ask for that same happiness for himself. Maybe that feeling of longing and wanting would disappear.
So he did.
He wasn’t confident whilst doing it, and stuttered more times than he could count, but the reaction he got from them was overwhelmingly positive. They had all been overjoyed at the prospect of spoiling him with their love and had agreed almost instantaneously. Because, as it turns out, they were all completely and utterly infatuated with the boy in question.
There wasn’t a massive difference in his life, but he had begun to notice some of the changes that had been made since he had asked his girlfriends to show their affection for him more physically.
For example, none of them hesitated anymore before hugging his waist from behind and smothering him with kisses, and he relished in the attention. He felt even more loved and cherished than he thought was possible.
It was even subtle things, like saying ‘I love you’ a little more, or focusing on him slightly more when they were all cuddling.
It’s safe to say that to Tsukasa, this holiday season was a lot more fulfilling now that he felt it was okay to take, and not have to give constantly.
And as for Emu, Rui and Nene? They just felt happy to give their adorable, cute, wonderful boyfriend the love that he needed and so desperately wanted.
