Work Text:
It was Christmastime in Faraway town. It was a beautiful winter day. Birds were off to warmer places, like Florida or Louisiana. Flowers were dead and punched into the ground from kids running and playing with no respect for the little things. On cold days like these, kids like Aubrey, Kel, Hero, Sunny, and Basil should have been playing outside.
“Aubrey, I think I have the best gift out of all of them for you.” A black-haired boy named Sunny walked alongside Aubrey, strolling through the snow-covered streets and trees completely covered in lights. Aubrey always found them to be pretty, but a waste.”
“Can you give me a hint?” Aubrey looked at Sunny with curiosity-filled eyes, waiting patiently for an answer.
“Ah, but that would ruin the surprise!”
“Ugh, fine.”

“So…open your eyes!” Sunny smiled at Aubrey, her hands over her closed eyes.
“Are you sure this isn’t going to, like, murder me?”
“Maybe, maybe not.”
“Well, that isn’t very reassuring.”
“It isn’t supposed to be, Aubrey. Just open the damn gift.”
Aubrey opened her eyes to a box almost as tall as her, and pretty skinny too.
“What the fuck is this?!”
“Just open it!”
Aubrey peeled the tape on the gift and opened it slowly to reveal Sans Undertale standing in the box.
“HOLY SHIT, IT’S SANS UNDERTALE!!” Aubrey shouted in excitement, prompting a laugh from the skeleton.
“Hey, kid! Sunny over here decided to give me to ya as a gift, so here I am!”
“Sans!! I had such a big fictional crush on you when I was a kid!!”
“Doesn’t everybody?”
“And maybe… Maybe I still do.”
Sans lifted himself out of the box with some magic, hugging Aubrey tightly. A camera went off in the background, no doubt Sunny taking some photos as blackmail.
Aubrey kissed Sans’s cheek softly, the skeleton exhibiting no signs of wanting her to stop.
Aubrey continued kissing Sans for who knows how long, all the while Sunny snapping pictures on Basil’s camera.
It truly was Aubrey’s favorite Christmas.
