Back to making podfics! Short ones, at least. There might be one or two more during this Gift Fic season.

Using a podfic as a gift is always a bit iffy, since some people (for various reasons) can't enjoy audio files. So I hope I haven't chosen poorly here, but this goes out to two recipients who liked the original fic:

talkingtothesky, I appreciate your comments on my fics, and our interactions on the Discord forum, so I definitely wanted to gift you something this year. Merry Christmas!

potc, your handle is recognizable to me, but I'm not sure if we've ever interacted; a quick search of my email doesn't show any comment notifications with your name, so maybe I've just read your comments on other fics a lot. Still, your comments on the original fic were particularly engaged, so I thought you'd enjoy this version as well.

(If either of you can't enjoy podfics, please let me know! It's just as important to have info on what not to give as what to give.)

Note: I debated about the relationship tag. The original fic is marked Harold Finch/John Reese, but even after going over the text dozens of times, I'm not picking up on anything beyond the deep friendship (bordering on codependence) presented as the surface reading of canon. Eventually, I decided that the tag that made the most sense for my podfic version would be a friendship tag, but it's certainly possible to read it as a slash relationship.
