[Podfic] "I don't want this body to hurt anyone" (GLaDOS version)

Summary:

Having been injected with nanites, Harold calls John for a last good-bye.

Notes:

I don't typically podfic my own work; I figure a podfic is typically a gift to the original author, and I don't want to get in the way of people who might be interested in transforming my writing into other forms. Plus, making a podfic just takes forever, and it isn't easy, even for a short piece.

But my nephew was interested in helping me record something, so I picked out a piece that I thought he could do reasonably well, and here's what we came up with. I should note that he hasn't the patience for several practice rounds and endless retakes, so there's a number of little flubs here and there, but it's not like podfics have to be perfect. I edited it the best I could; hope it's enjoyable!

We toyed around with a couple possibilities of how to spoof this podfic, and ultimately came up with GLaDOS from Portal.

I have recorded some attempts at a more normal version, for those who were disappointed to see it was only a spoof. But podfics take time, so I don't know when I'll get to putting that all together, and given past performance it's unlikely to be soon. Lemme know if you'd like to see it sooner! (I don't get much feedback for my podfics, compared to my fics.)
