Chapter Text
Sonic thr Hedgehog was racing through the streets of New York. He had a mission to complete and didn't have time for distractions, like this one. The speed at which Sonic was traveling was so fast that he could literally see his shadow as it raced across the ground behind him. This gave him the impression that something was following him, but he pushed the thought aside. There were too many other things on his mind at the moment.
First, there was the fact that Shadow had taken over control of Dr. Robotnik's robot army and was trying to invade the city. That had been bad enough, but now it seemed that the whole world was turning against him! Not only did he have to deal with Shadow, but he also had to worry about this new attack from Dr. Eggman. He would most likely be sending more robots after him soon. It wouldn't do any good to hide underground though. If he wanted to stay alive, he had to face the music sooner or later.
At last, the massive skyscraper came into view. Sonic let out a sigh of relief as he made it to the top floor and stopped. There was no one there to stop him, which was a good thing considering the fact that a few of his friends were still inside the building. He knew that they would be trying to stop Shadow from completing his mission, but he also knew that they needed him to take care of Dr. Robotnik first. He might not be able to help them if they were in trouble.
"I need to go home and watch anime, this is boring," Sonic whispered under his breath so that only he could hear it. Just as he was about to leave, a blast of energy shot out of an open window and slammed into his back. He let out a grunt of pain as it knocked him straight out of the building and sent him flying through the air. It reminded him of his favorite animal character Bakugo Katsuki. Then he hit the ground with a loud thud and rolled over onto his back.
The sound of an explosion reached his ears, and it was followed by a loud explosion that shook the entire city. The buildings shook and swayed like they were in an earthquake, and people ran from their homes with frightened looks on their faces. Sonic quickly got up and looked around for any sign of what had caused it, but there was nothing there but smoke and fire.
From the smoke emerged Dr. Robotnik's long distant cousin, Dr. Blue. He stood up from the rubble and looked around as if he were looking for something. Then he took a step forward and Sonic took off running again in the opposite direction. He didn't have time for this! He needed to watch anime!
A laser blast caught him in his side and sent him hurtling into another building. He bounced off of the side of it with a loud clang and fell to the ground at an angle, but only for a few seconds before he was up again, running as fast as he could through the flames.
"HAHA, SONIC! NOW YOULL NEVER WATCH ANIME!" Dr. Blue screamed out in triumph as Sonic ran across the burning rooftop without a care in the world. Dr. Blue continued, "Youll have to live without your friends! Attacking them was my only way to get you out of my hair!" Dr. Blue twirled his mustache, "And worst of all, no matter My Hero Academia, I'm wiping it from the face of the earth!"
A blast fired from Dr. Blue's laser cannon struck Sonic right in his chest and sent him flying through the air again. Sonic slammed into one of the buildings near him with a loud crash and slid down its side while sliding back up again before landing on his feet once more.
"No... don't do this!" Sonic cried, "that's my favorite anime!" He ran over to a window, ignoring Dr. Blue's calls as he jumped out of it and clung to it for dear life. As Sonic flew through the air once more, Dr. Blue cut off his view by pointing another laser cannon at him from afar and sending him crashing into another building.
"Don't make me turn you blue!" Dr. Blue hissed, raising his fist into the air. Sonic couldn't take anymore! He had to finish this before Shadow got himself killed! Sonic jumped off of the burning building once more and used his speed to jump onto another one while still in midair!
"I have to save Shadow... and anime once and for all!"
