    “Were-tiger,” Akutagawa says. Wheezes, really.

    “Are you dying,” Atsushi says, and his voice sounds flat to his own ears, incredulous and confused.

    “No,” Akutagawa replies. As if to punctuate his statement he takes a step over the threshold, tries to close the door behind himself, and winds up on the floor, instead. After a second, Akutagawa reprises his previous statement: “Shut up.”

     

    Several weeks after their first strange, Dazai-engineered warehouse encounter, Atsushi and Akutagawa attempt to navigate a world of new kinks. By themselves.
