"Maria, do you know where kyo is? I can't find him..."
Ren stops right outside of Maria's room peering in as he notices her having a tea party.
"Nope no idea...now that you mention it, he was supposed to join me for my tea party."
Ren leans on her doorframe as he puts his hand in his waist.
"Was he going anywhere today? Maybe with aster or scarle?"
Maria shakes her head.
"The last I heard from him is that he was going to rest for a while because his head was hurting a bit more than usual today."
"Oh okay, I'll go check if he's in his room then! Have fun maria"
Maria smiles as Ren walks to kyos room.
He knocks before entering.
"Hey kyo are you...in here?"
As he walks in he notices a bundle of clothes on the floor as well as a beaker on his desk.
Before he moves closer he starts to hear some rustling from the clothes and then blue hair...?
"OH MY GOD??? KYO???"
Ren runs to the bundle of clothes and sees a baby kyo under the pile of clothes.
"KYO WHY ARE YOU A BABY??? WHAT HAPPENED???"
"Ba."
"KYOOO!!!!!"
"Whats with all the ruckus? Did you find kyo?"
Maria peered in from the hallway and was shocked to see only ren in the room.
Ren turned around practically in tears holding a naked baby kyo.
"MARIA, HES A BABY, WHAT DO WE DO?????"
Maria's eyes widened as she dropped the stuffie she was holding.
"I-I DONT KNOW? UM FIRST OF ALL WRAP HIM IN A BLANKET OR SOMETHING BABIES GET COLD EASILY"
After wrapping up kyo in a blanket burrito style, Maria and ren pondered for a moment on what to do.
"Where's aster?" Maria finally spoke up.
"He said he was picking up some groceries with aia and scarle" ren spoke quietly
"Tell them to pick up a few extra stuff while they're there..."
Kyo babbled as the two adults stared at him in confusion and shock.
"Hey! We're home!! Also we brought the extra stuff! We have no idea why you wanted it but we have it!" Aster, Aia, and Scarle walked in holding a few bags.
"COME HERE QUICK!!! ITS AN EMERGENCY!!" Maria shouted from kyos room. The trio ran to where the sound was coming from and froze in their tracks as they saw a rolled up baby on kyos bed.
"YOU KIDNAPPED A BABY?!" Aster yelled.
"NO ASTER, THIS IS KYO!" Ren quietly yelled as to not startle the baby anymore
The three standing at the door moved closer to the bed and looked at the baby wrapped up in the blanket.
"Yep that's kyo." Aia said.
"But why is he like this? What did you do??" Aster asked looking at ren.
"Actually...this is my fault...."
The four of them turned to look at scarle as she held the beaker in her hand.
"Huh?" They all said even kyo babbled in sync coincidentally.
"Well... a few hours ago he asked me to make him a potion for headaches if it was possible since his head was hurting a bit more than usual and regular painkillers didn't help him much...so I made him something but I think it got confused with my class project...which happens to be physical age regression..."
"Okay so we know the cause so can you turn him back??" Aster asked.
"Actually I don't know how... we haven't covered it in class yet..."
"Okay...how long is it going to last..? Ren asked a little more concerned...
"2 weeks tops. Although he well end up aging up as will until he reaches a stopping point and turns back to normal. He should be at least 3 years old before he turns back to normal."
"Okay well we have baby stuff but we have to go and buy him clothes and things like that at least for now so he doesn't have to wear big clothes." Aia spoke up.
"So the question is, who's going to care for him? Like feed him and change him at least for now until he learns to use the bathroom or something."
"We all can help if he acts the same way regular kyo acts! I dont know much about humans but I'll try my best!"
After figuring out all the details, Aia and Scarle ran to the store again to pick up some baby clothes while Maria, Ren and Aster stayed back.
Just when they thought they had everything under control they start to hear the buildup of a cry.
Ren went to pick up kyo but kyo only began to cry harder.
"Uh! Uh! Guys what do I do?!"
Just as he began to panic he looked down and saw a wet stain on the blanket.
"We need to change his diaper! Quick! Aster go get the diapers and a pacifier as well or maybe a bottle? I don't know just get one of them!"
Aster just as panicked as the rest of them came back with 3 unopened packets up baby bottles, pacifiers, and baby diaper.
Maria tore open the packet of diapers and handed one to ren as ren was starting to unwrap the blanket.
"What the hell do I do with this?" Ren stared at the diaper in his hand when Maria quickly questioned him
"Have you never seen a diaper before??"
Ren looked down and shook his head.
Maria took back the diaper and tried to put it on kyo as his cries only grew louder.
"Wait don't human babies need powder or something? Uh.."
Growing frustrated with the cries aster finally pushed both of them aside and took off the messily put on diaper
"you!" He pointed to ren "go get me a white bottle from the bags that says baby powder! And you!" He pointed to Maria. "go make a baby bottle with the container that has the blue lid on top and says baby formula! Just follow the instructions!"
They ran out and aster grabbed the unopened packet of pacifiers and pulled out a red cat themed pacifier and stuck it in kyos mouth soothing him for the time it took him to change his diaper after ren came back with the powder.
"Wow aster you’re really good at that! How come you didn't do it first!" Aster now carrying kyo after refusing to go with Ren sighs.
"I don't like human babies, they're so troublesome and so noisy. I'd rather just hand people stuff than do it myself."
Kyo spits out his pacifier and starts to cry again. Maria walks into the room and hands aster the bottle. After putting some of the milk on the back of his hand he spoke.
"Its a little too hot right now, it will make his tummy upset if he drinks it like this. Give it a few seconds and I'll give it to him."
"If you hate kids so much how come you know alot about them?"
Aster starts to cradle kyo. "Well, you pick up a thing or two after being alive for so long!"
After kyos crying did not subside, aster took the pacifier kyo dropped in the floor and wiped it on his shirt a few times before popping it into kyos mouth again. Aster sat down on the bed and began rocking him.
"Shh kyo...you're troublesome even when you're a baby huh?" Aster giggled as ren sat down on the bed next to him.
"Look ren, this is what you do when human babies cry alright. Just rock them like this. Dunno why it works but it just does."
Ren nodded and focused intently as if he was going to be quizzed on it later.
Finally after a few minutes kyo settled down and aster took the opportunity to feed him the bottle.
"I wonder what's taking the girls so long." Just as he said that, there was a sound of the door opening, bags being set down and Footsteps approaching the room.
"We're back! And look at all the cute clothes we bought him!! As well as some bigger ones for when he grows up!"
Aster smiles and nods as he goes back to feeding kyo. The two move closer and smile
"Seems like you managed to do just fine! He looks like he's falling asleep!" Scarle whispered
"Trust me he was not like this earlier..." aster sighs as he recalls what happened moments before they came home.
"Ta-da!! Look what we got him" Aia pulls put a small baby cat onesie from behind her and aster gasped
"Thats probably the cutest thing I've ever seen!" Aster looks down at the baby in his arms and back up at the girls.
"Let's wait until he finishes his bottle or he might start crying again." They all nodded in agreement as kyo drifted off to sleep.
After putting the onesie on the sleeping kyo who miraculously did not wake up. Aster fell onto the bed next to kyo.
"Babies are tough and I haven't even done much. Anyways can one of you stay here with him? Make sure he doesn't roll of the bed or something?"
Aia and scarle looked at each eachother
"Actually... I have to finish my potion for class since I gave kyo the wrong one and aia has to help Maria with something..."
Sighing, aster looked at ren who was excited to answer. "I know you want to but you literally have no idea how to take care of children ren." Ren sulked and moved out of the way.
"I'll stay here for now but once he gets bigger I'm not dealing with any of this. I'll help you if it gets too troublesome but I won't be his primary caretaker."
They all nodded as they left the room to allow kyo to get some rest.
Looking at the baby, aster maneuvered himself so he would be at the edge of the bed and kyo towards the wall.
"You're always getting into trouble kyo and even though I'm always there with you aswell, you turning into a baby is just a little too much chaos don't you think?" Kyo mumbled a little in his sleep almost as if agreeing with aster and earning him a small chuckle from aster.
"This is gonna be a long two weeks..."

Aster feel asleep shortly after and when he woke up he saw a tiny kyo laying on his chest. He eventually fell back asleep after not wanting to wake the sleeping baby.
4 hours have passed and is awoken by cries. Getting up, aster makes a makeshift changing table on kyos desk and begins to change his diaper.
After changing him, he makes his way to the living room to see Ren, Maria and Aia sitting on the couch watching TV or on their phones.
"Good afternoon! The cranky cat has awoken from his slumber."
He then presents kyo in his cat onesie with the hood on that makes it seem like he has cat ears.
"Wah! He's so cute! Lemme carry him!!" Ren yelled.
Walking over to Ren, Aster handed the small child over to the alien and adjusted him so he would be carrying the child correctly.
"Put your hand here- and support his back- there! Wah!! You look so cute I gotta take a pic!" Aster ran to his room to fetch his phone and came back to take the picture.
"Kyos gonna hate me but whatever!"
Sitting down on the floor, aster sprawled out and sighed heavily.
"He slept on top of my chest for almost the entire time he was asleep. I don't even know how he got up there... wait... CAN HE CRAWL???"
Aster looks up at ren who was holding kyo.
"I don't think he can?" Maria said.
"Yea...he's way too tiny to do that." Aia added
Aster motioned for Ren to hand over Kyo and placed kyo in front of him on the floor and scooted back.
"Come here kyo! Come to Aster!"
They all sat back and watched and finally...nothing.
"Hm maybe he just-"
Just as Aster was going to put some reasoning behind it kyo started to move forward reaching for a bright colored throw pillow that was discarded on the floor a while ago.
"Okay he was definitely not able to do that 4 hours ago, is he supposed to evolve this quick?"
Aster asked, wondering how this baby that was barely mobile 4 hours ago is now being able to crawl
"Well scarle did say he was going to grow up in the span of 14 days maybe this is just like a sudden burst and then it slows?" Ren said as he sat down on the floor next to Aster.
"Come here kyo! Come to ren-ren!"
Kyo stared at the two boys and eventually settled on crawling to Aster.
"I guess it is still kyo after all." Ren said with slight disappointment in his voice.
After a few minutes it all went to normal conversation but the topic went to baby kyo once more but even more interesting was-
"Who's going to take care of kyo when we have classes and stuff? Are we just going to trade him off like a football or something in between classes?" Aia spoke up.
They all turned to aster as he was the one most acquainted with kyo.
He stared at all of them until he got the memo
"Nuh-uh I am not going to take him with me to my classes! Not only would it be extremely troublesome-"

"Well kyo, first day of classes. Well not really but- well you probably don't get it. I only have you for about 2 hours then you go to Maria then Scarle then Aia."
Aster was talking to kyo as he entered the school with a stroller and a baby bag which scarle so kindly got for them
"Okay so bottle, diaper, wipes and powder, extra change of clothes, toys...uh what else...formula...pacifier...alright! All set Kyo! Be a good boy and behave for two hours okay!"

"Mr. Arcadia, could you please take your child out into the hall and calm him down."
"Of course, professor. Please excuse me."
Aster silently walked out of the classroom with the stroller and bag to try and calm down kyo who was in hysterics.
Picking up the small boy, he slowly began rocking him and walking around.
"Shh kyo...it's okay baby..." baby?
"Come on kitten, please quiet down..." kitten??
Wow, he’s sure taking the role of kyos caretaker now. Wasn't it just a few days ago where he mentioned he didn't want to do any of this?
After a few minutes of walking around, kyo wasn't having any of it. Aster, defeated, decided going home would be for the best. He might act up like this with the others and they might have more problems with them calming down kyo if he ends up having a crying fit.
He messaged in the group chat saying they would be going home and they all seemed okay with it. And with that they made their journey back home.
Once they arrived home Aster decided it would be good if he bathed kyo since it's been a few days since he last had a bath.
Turning on the water on the bath and throwing a few toys in, he grabbed the baby shampoo and mixed it in to make a few bubbles.
He went to go get kyo from the stroller and wiped away a few stray tears from his now puffy face. Aster chuckled a little at the sight.
Picking him up Aster made his way way to the bathroom and checked the water in the tub before putting kyo in.
Waiting for Kyo to get used to the water, Aster held him up and splashed some water onto him.
In a matter of seconds Kyo was having a blast. He played with the bubbles and splashed water everywhere that by the end of it Aster was drenched.
Wrapping Kyo in a towel and setting him on Asters bed he went to go get more diapers as well as a new onesie.
Putting on the onesie, Aster had noticed that Kyo had sneezed a few times but ultimately brushed it off.
"Alright! It's about lunch time now so how about we get you a new bottle and maybe try some baby mush?"
Aster picked up kyo and set him on his hip as they walked to the kitchen to prepare some food and a bottle.
"Hmm..." Aster looked worried and stared at the jars in front of him with concern.
"Tell me kyo. What do you prefer, green beans and sweet potato or peach and mango?"
Kyo babbled and slammed his tiny hands on the table almost reaching for the peach and mango.
"Thats what I though too! Green beans are kinda yucky so I fully agree on the fruits! Plus it's kinda an ugly color..."
The microwaved beeped reminding Aster that the bottle was warmed up.
Grabbing the bottle and the jar of food as well as a tiny spoon they made their way to the living room.
Turning on some cartoons to keep kyo entertained while he fed him aster started checking his phone.

Aster: I'm taking kyo home. He's being fussy.

Ren-Ren: how's kyo? Did he calm down? Is he okay? Did you feed him?
Aster: I'm feeding him right now. Do you think he might eat that baby mush?
Aia: idk maybe, he did crawl yesterday.
Scarle: HE CRAWLED???? AND NOBODY TOLD ME????
Maririn: you were cooped up in your room making another potion so we didn't want to disturb you...

Scarle: oh by the way Aster, when we went back to the store we saw the cutest baby thing ever!!! So we bought it!! It's in a bag in kyos room!
Aster: oh? I'll go and see if I can find it!
Turning off his phone he saw that kyo had finished his bottle. burping him, Aster made his way to kyos room to try and find the thing Scarle was talking about. His eyes settles on a white plastic bag that seemed to have a box in it.
"Is this what she meant?"
He grabbed the bag and opened it to reveal a baby carrier. It almost looked like a backpack.
"So you place it on your chest or back and it leaves you hands free so you can do other stuff. BUT WHY WOULD SHE GIVE THIS TO ME???"
Aster looked at kyo who was looking back at him and smiled.
"Wanna give it a try?"
They didn't buy alot of things for babies. Mostly just necessities to get around so they didn't have anywhere to put kyo if they didn't want to carry him. So this carrier was really convenient...mostly for Aster as he was the one taking care of kyo.
Aster put on the carrier and adjusted so it would be able to fit kyo.
"This looks silly, doesn't it kyo?"
Kyo babbled and made grabby hands towards Aster until he finally picked him up and put him in the carrier.
Kyo looked up at him and aster chuckled
"You're lucky I'm even doing this!"
Aster ruffled his hair and noticed something.
"You're a little warm kyo. Let's get you out of here, maybe it's the body heat."
Their day continued and Aster finished his work at home with kyo in a barricade of pillows watching cartoons so he wouldnt fall forward without him watching.
"IM HOME!! WHERES KYO I FIGURED OUT HIS LANGUAGE" The door practically slams open when ren bursts into the living room.
"Nice of you to SHOW UP, IM BASICALLY A SINGLE MOTHER!"
Aster yelled playfully as Ren picked up kyo from his pillow fortress
"Ba ba da da ba"
Aster looked up at Ren
"What the hell are you doing?"
"I'm speaking his language, ba da da ba ga."
Aster looked up at ren in confusion.
"Da?"
"HA! SEE?!"
Asters jaw dropped as kyo responded to the meaningless babble.
"Where did you even learn this from??"
"From a book I saw at the library! Apparently this is good for them!"
"They have a parenting book in the library?" Aster asked confused
Ren nodded as he continued 'talking' to kyo
Ren and Kyo babbled happily with kyo coughing here and there. Maybe from using his voice so much.
A few hours had passed and everyone had arrived home. They had eaten dinner and Maria fed kyo his final bottle before bedtime.
Everyone seemed very amused at how kyo was a but more vocal now, spewing random syllables almost wanting to join in the conversation and everyone just agreed with him.
After setting up his bed, Aster put pillows around the edge of the bed to make sure kyo doesn't roll off as usual but in doing so he notices kyo acting a little strange.
His breathing is shallow.
Reaching for kyo he realizes that he's burning hot.
Scooping kyo in his arms he runs to his friends rooms and bangs on the doors until the eventually come out and see Aster running around.
Maria walks out and sees Aster putting on his shoes in a frantic manner.
"Aster..? What's wrong..? It's so late.."
Aster practically in tears runs back to his room to get his phone.
"I-It's kyo... He's burning up! H-His breathing- He's not breathing right! Doctor- He needs a doctor!"
Upon hearing those words, they all put on their shoes and grabbed a blanket for kyo as it was chilly out and they didn't need him getting any sicker.
Running to the school nurse, she had told them he needed to go to a pediatrician and the directions to the closest one. She stabilized him for now but they needed to get there quickly as his condition was worsening.
Running to the nearest 24 hour pediatrician they took kyo in.
They all stood in the waiting room out of breath
"But why? He looked fine an hour ago?" Scarle asked trying to catch her breath
"Its my fault. I gave him a bath earlier today but- I must have- made the water too cold- or maybe- left him out too long..."
Aster collapsed on the floor from exhaustion and put his head in his hands as he began to weep.
"God. I'm such a bad friend...I'm so sorry kyo..."
Maria, Aia, Ren, and Scarle looked at eachother before they sat down on the floor with aster and hugged him.
"No you're not Aster. We are." Ren spoke up
"Yea. We shouldnt have left you with all the work. Taking care of babies is hard and you managed it all by yourself." Maria said, patting Asters head.
After a few minutes, Aster finally calmed down and the doctor came in.
"Good news, it was just a slight cold that was getting out of control. We prescribed him some antibiotics to reduce fever and pain. You may take him home in a few minutes after you fill out some paperwork!"
Aster sighed in relief and wiped the remaining tears from his eyes.
After a few minutes he hears the sound of crying becoming louder and finally a nurse carrying Kyo comes throught he door.
Kyo practically falling out of the nurses arms reaching for Aster.
Aster runs up and carries kyo starting to rock him as his own tears threaten to fall.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry that I couldn't help you sooner kyo... I'm sorry baby..."
he held kyo close as he began to quiet down
"So troublesome kyo..." he said with a smile
He feels a hand on his shoulder and Aster turns around to find Ren smiling.
"Let's go home."
The others looked at him smiling as well
"Yes, lets." Aster says through tears

"C'mon kyo... you have to take this or else your fever won't go down..." Aster said.
"No! Yucky!!" Kyo added.
Kyo had grown up in the days we was sick with the cold. Meaning that he was more stubborn. Which also meant-
"I want Wen-Wen!!" Aster sighs and calls for Ren
It also meant that kyo had new favorites.
"Whats up Aster?" Upon entering the kitchen he figures out what's going on.
Kyo hops down from the chair and makes his way to Ren who promptly picks him up.
"Are you refusing to take your medication Mr!"
Kyo burries his face in Rens chest.
"Ah-Ah gib yucky sywup!"
Ren carries kyo to the chair and sits him down.
"If you take your medicine like a good boy, I'll give you candy!"
Kyos face lights up and puts the spoon Aster was holding in his mouth. He swallowed the bitter cherry flavored liquid and scrunched up his face.
Aster handed him some water chuckling at the sight and kyo quickly drank it.
"Candy!" Kyo immediately said
Ren laughed and walked over to a cupboard to get a small chocolate and handed it to kyo
"F- Fa-...."
kyo struggled for a bit until he could finally say what he wanted to say.
"Fank you!" Thank you. Ren and Aster melted as kyo walked away happily with his reward.
It's been a little more than a week and kyo has been growing up steadily. They suspect that in these few days he will turn back to normal. And as they promised, they've been taking turns missing class to take care of Kyo to lessen the burden on Aster.
The day went on like normal but the real battle begins during bedtime.
Yells were heard around the dorm.
"No! I don' wanna!! I wanna play wiff mari!" Kyo shouts as Maria looks at Ren
"Kyo, remember what me and ah-ah said"
Ren sternly looked at Kyo and kyo began to tear up.
"I don' wanna!! I don' wanna!!"
Kyo throws himself on the floor and begins flailing his arms around.
Ren picks him up and nods to Maria who just waves at them.
Kyo continued to flail in Rens arms and shout at him. Ren sits him down on the bed and crouched down so they're at eye level.
"Kyo! We do not hit people! You're being a bad boy kyo!"
Kyo stares at him in shock before crying even harder.
"I hate you Wen-Wen!!" Kyo ran out of the room in tears and went into Asters room. Upon hearing the cries get louder, Aster turns around and sees Kyo coming in.
"Oh my- Kyo... Whats wrong honey..?"
Aster picked up Kyo who was in hysterics.
"Shh.. calm down kitten...do you want to tell me what happened..?"
After a few seconds kyo managed to calm down and told aster about how ren was a 'meanie' and didn't let him play with Maria.
"Oh honey...you know it's bed time, why did you fight him?"
Kyo hiccuped. "Wen-wen said I was bad..." and began crying again.
Aster patted the back of his head and rocked him back and forth.
"Oh kyo.. you're not bad... I'm sure ren-ren didn't mean it."
Just then a knock was heard on the door.
"Hey..."
Aster smiled and motioned Ren to come in.
"Hey kyo..."
Ren reached to touch Kyos arm but kyo pulled it back as soon as he felt him touch it.
"I'm sorry Kyo, you’re not a bad boy...I should have let you finish your game with Maria..."
Kyo turned to look at Ren.
"I-im sowwy...I hit you... I'm s-sowwy w-wen-wen... I dont hate you..."
Kyo began sobbing as he reached for Rens arms. Ren picked him up and started patting his back.
"I'm sorry kyo... do you want to go finish the game with maria..?"
Kyo shook his head.
"Want mimi and your paci after we get ready for bed?"
Kyo nods and ren smiles as he wipes kyos face.
"Okay, let's go kitten. Do you wanna walk or want me to carry you?"
"Walk.."
Kyo hugs Ren before Ren set him down on the floor.
"Such a big boy! Wanna race to the bathroom?"
Kyo sniffles and nods
"Alright, ready? 3, 2, 1...go!"
Kyo runs out of the bedroom giggling. Ren turns to look at Aster but he waves him off as he continues his work.
"All tucked in? Got your paci and mi-mi? Alright then! Good night, little kitten." Ren said as he tucks kyo in besides him.
Kyo wakes up and sees ren sleeping beside him?? He opened his mouth to speak but the pacifier falls out.
"Bro what the hell are you doing in my bed and why did I have this in my mou-"
He looks down and sees he didn't have a shirt on.
Ren shuffles and eventually wakes up.
"You awake kitten- Woah kyo! You're back!!"
Kyos face turns into one of confusion
"What do you mean ’kitten’ and why am I- NAKED?????"
Kyo kicks Ren off the bed and runs to his room with a sheet wrapped around his waist.
Quickly getting dressed he makes his way to the living room to see Maria, Aster, Scarle and Aia eating breakfast.
"KYO YOURE BACK!!!" Aster said.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IM BACK?? AND WHY WAS I SLEEPING WITH REN???"
He takes a look at all the babyware on the counter tops.
"Whats with all the baby junk?? IS SCARLE PREGNANT?????"
Scarle spits out her cereal.
"WHY WOULD I BE PREGNANT, IT COULD BE AIA?????"
"AIAS PREGNANT???" Ren shouts as he enters the room.
"NO ONE IS PREGNANT!!" Aster shouts.
"Kyo... you turned into a baby." Aster says as he bites into his toast.
There was silence for a while until-
"I WHAT????"
"Yep look!" Maria takes out her phone and shows kyo the many selfies she took with him as a baby.
"You're joking."
"Nope, actually I took care of you in the beginning...changed your diapers and everything!" Aster snickered.
"How did this even happen?? I literally just took a nap?"
They all looked at scarle.
"Sorry kyo... I mixed up the potion I was doing for you with my class project..."
Kyo fell to his hands and knees. "My own sister...betrayed me...wait hold on, if you turned me into a baby why didn't you take care of me? Why Aster?"
"He knew the most and ironically hates babies the most" Scarle said.
Kyo looked at Aster who just shrugged
"Guess I felt like I had to take care of you since you're my friend and all."
"Ren also took care of you. It was as if Aster and Ren had a baby and that was you!" Maria said smiling.
"They even fell asleep together with you in the middle! It was so cute! Here's a pic!"
Maria swiped through her phone and showed kyo the picture.
Kyo turned to Ren and Aster and they just blushed and looked away.
