Summary
Wille frowns a little as Simon stands next to him, Vincent having left to sign them in.
“I thought you were gonna go home,” he says.
Then he smiles unhappily.
“It’s okay, really. You should go. You’re probably tired and cold and this is going to take a while.”
The waiting room is full and they will definitely be here for hours. When Simon was here for a broken arm when he was nine they had to wait for at least five hours despite them prioritising children and there seem to be even more people here today.
“I’ll stay,” he says
They have been rescued and they are both safe. Still, Simon can't bring himself to leave the hospital and decides to stay. And as the hours trail by they get to know eachother, learning sides of eachother they have never seen before.
