   Summary

   The morning after Detective Bobby Bronson pulled Dr. Hannibal Lecter and himself off a cliff to their deaths, the FBI team follows the blood trail left by Dolarhyde's murderers, only to find Hannibal's unconscious and severely injured body. Now captured and imprisoned once more as the Atlantic washed Bobby's life away from Hannibal's, the former psychiatrist is asked to help the special FBI consultant, Professor Will Graham, to identify a new serial killer who has been imitating with disturbing accuracy, various tableaus of the Chesapeake Ripper.
