Excellent author. Looks like plenty of angst, with the opening quote from Song of Solomon.

A substantial study post fal tor pan. Some very good ideas, e.g., how the Vulcan retraining couldn’t bring back all of Spock. Very dramatic, sometimes melodramatic.

Spock regains his memories after the fal-tor-pan with some help from Kirk. He realizes that it's his human side that helps him restrain a Vulcan's strong emotions, as he and Kirk bond again, in an echo of the ceremony that joined them the first time.
