Deja vu,
it was a sense that arisu was vaguely familiar with. You couldn't go by in life with out hearing about it once. Like others he'd felt it many times through out his life, while playing video games, dinners with his family, or when talking to karube and chota.
It had never felt it this strong though.

"Are you sure we've never met before...?"
As he stared into her strangely familiar eyes arisu couldn't help but fear a strong sense of deja vu.
"What?"
"Are.... You hitting on me?"
Usagi has never felt this way before a strange sort of feeling deep inside her chest and mind it felt as excruciatingly painful as it did empty, not physical pain just pain.
Usually usagi would have felt more creeped out on the thought of some random man hitting on her in the middle of the hospital right out of a deadly situation, but for some reason nothing about him screamed creep, if anything she felt oddly safe around him.
"No, I'm -"
He felt light headed, sick
"Usagi?.. " he whispered , softly as if spoken any louder they would dissapear

Her head started to spin
"How- i-.... Arisu?" She spoke softly, almost softer than her own parting words.

His feet move first, hers not not far behind but much slower do to her crutches, his arms squeeze around her in lightning speed. She yelps at the pressure to her bad arm but can't, almost won't complain.
Because right now she doesn't need anything else but him.
They are both hyperventilating at this point in pain, agony, joy, fear, love and all other heart wrenching emotions.
The people around them all looking at them with confusion but at this very moment nothing in the world could pull them apart from one another
"Shhh it's okay, it's okay we're out now it's over we're safe." He says after forcing himself to slow his breathing. He doesn't know who he's trying to convince more usagi or himself, but he finds that he doesn't care since at least it's working.
"It can't be can it?" She shakily whispers
"After- after all of that- after all we've been though. That's it? It's just... Over?"
"I- I... Don't know" he wants to say so much more but he doesn't know how much more he can before he breaks down again.
"I don't know what's going to happen I don't even know if anything we went through was real"
"What do you mean? It had to have been real look at our injurys they are the exact same as the ones in borderland?!" She quickly extends her wrist out towards him in a desperate attempt to get him to make more sense.
"I know it's just, think about it how could any of that have been real? Of what I've heard from my brother apparently all of our hearts stopped for about a minute-"
"A minute! A minute!? " she sobs
"Arisu we were there for months! We watched people, our friends, die there"
He flinched
"I know, I know can we, can we please just not think about this right now, not after everything"
"Yeah, yeah your right I just, just want to be here... with you again"
....
"Hey..... even if non of it was real, even if everything we went through was all a trick of our minds, the one thing I do know was real, was us."
"Was you, usagi"

"I have lost everything usagi"
he didn't want to be sentimental right now, hell he just didn't want to be fucking sad anymore but he knew he had to get these words our before he lost her again.
"But I can't lose you,
Fuck anything but you."
"Me as well arisu I want you. I want all of you. Your mind, your soul, your body, your flaws and all."
"And youre right I don't care- I don't care anymore about those stupid games right now all I care about is being able to laugh with you again, to be able to tell you good morning every day"
"And going rock climbing" he smirked
"Definitely rock climbing"
she couldn't help but laugh even in these uncertain circumstances she knew no matter what she would do it all over again if it meant arisu would be by her side.

"I understand if you need to get back to you brother and father arisu." She whispered, she never wanted to let him go again but she knew he had a family to go back to.
"Usagi..." He gently grabbed her face
"For now and forever, there is only you."

"If- uh that's okay with you"
arisu suddenly felt very nervous and awkward his confidence instantly dissapearing who knew what a near death experience could do to you.
"Arisu, for me there is only you"
"You will never go a day without being on my mind, I am to wrapped up with you."
His blushing face was only getting worse by the second
"Stop you're going to make me cry all over again and I can already feel how puffy my eyes are"
"Haha if it makes you feel any better I love your eyes, they were the first thing I noticed about you, they were how I knew how much of a kind soul you were"
"Usagiii stop youre killing me now let's save the sweet talk for later"
"Ok, ok, just... Promise to stay with me"
"For now and forever, for better and for worse"
From this moment on they knew, above anything else they would always have the other to rely on, and would be devoted to the other till their final moments.
