Work Text:
It was a quiet day when the Newstand was flooded with the blurry images. The image was barely discernible at all. You could see a fuzzed out face, arms and legs in motion and the person was wearing a pair of track pants and a black t-shirt with a blood red bat dripping on it. The caption read, “Flash caught on camera.” ‘Attempts to catch the Flash on Camera have resulted in the blurred pictures above. While the world may never know their true identity, know that we are safe in their hands. We see here the Flash running to rescue a child from a burning building… The article continued for a while detailing the heroic actions of the Flash.
Wally i.e. the Flash was not expecting to be confronted with the newspaper before he finished his cup of coffee and first round of breakfast. So when a hand pointed to the blurry picture he could only blink in confusion as they started demanding answers as to why he changed the Flash uniform and didn’t he know bat symbols were only allowed on Gotham’s Heros.
“Okay, guys I’m not sure where you’re getting the idea that I changed the Flash uniform, it looks the same as it did last month. I certainly didn’t put a red bat on my uniform either, but don’t you think one city having a monopoly on all forms and styles of bat is a little ridiculous.” Wally countered.
“Oh please, that is clearly a Bat symbol on your chest, why would you be wearing a red bat symbol of all things.” Kon said.
“For real, shouldn’t it be a blue one anyways?” Tim asked.
The Titian’s nodded; Wally and Dick might think they were subtle but they really weren’t. If Tim caught one of them coming out of the other’s room half dressed in the early morning again he was going to start a petition for them to be forced to share a room. No one needed to see that many freckles doing the walk of shame halfway across the base.
Wally took another sip of his coffee and studied the picture again. He didn’t remember running around in a Red Bat T-shirt any time recently. He definitely didn’t own any shirts like that so where did the outfit come from? He guessed he could have just picked something up off the floor while he was in another room on base. He sometimes borrowed Rob’s clothes while he was out of laundry. He’d been cramming for finals for his college classes lately; he barely had time to eat or sleep, much less do any chores. Hell, he couldn’t even remember what he did yesterday, much less what he wore.
Dick wandered into the room in his Superman pajama pants and an old homemade Kid Flash T-shirt that barely fit anymore; he was not nearly as small as he’d been in middle school when they made it. Blinking his eyes he sleepily leaned his chin on Wally’s shoulder looking at the paper in his hands.
“What you got there?” he asked, nuzzling his best friend in a greeting.
Kori nudged Roy and titled her head at the pair. Donna just rolled her eyes at the normal display, how those two thought they were hiding their relationship when they did this all the time she would never know.
Wally held the paper up so that Dick could get a better look. Dick’s jaw tightened as he saw the headline “Flash’s Fearless Fire Rescue’ and then saw the picture of a man in a Red Hood shirt. Why was Wally wearing the RED HOOD’s emblem? If Wally ever wanted to wear another’s uniform it should be his.
“What in the world are you doing wearing the symbol for the Red Hood?” Dick asked.
“That’s the Red Hood’s symbol?” Gar pulled the paper closer to him to look at the picture again. “Isn’t he one of Gotham’s Villains?”
“Yes.” Tim answered, at the same time Dick replied. “No.”
“It’s complicated.” Dick corrected himself, not willing to get into the complexities of Gotham’s hero situation.
“But seriously, what are you doing wearing his symbol?” Dick asked again, poking Wally in the side.
“It’s complicated.” Wally replied, annoyed at his friend's weird behavior. Besides he couldn’t even remember what fire that was supposed to be from. He looked at his watch and started cursing mentally, even if he left right now and rushed at top speed he’d still be late for his first class.
“See you guys later, I got to go.”
Wally totally missed the dark look on Dick’s face as he rushed out of the room. The Team looked over at the young hero taking in the epic pout on the grown man's face.
“Someone is hella jealous,” Garth laughed at Dick.
“Shut up, fish face.” Dick glared back. “Everybody meet in the gym in 15 minutes we got training.”
“There wasn’t any training today, was there?” Gar asked Donna innocently.
“Nope, but you guys had to go and piss off Nightwing,” Donna said.
“He is going to be awful and pissy for days now.” Tim whined.
About three hours later Garth really wished he hadn’t opened his big mouth. He lay on the ground where Nightwing had flipped him for the twentieth time. He could hardly breathe. Hopefully, he’d remember this next time he went to tease Dick and Wally about their relationship.
“Now that we are warmed up, who's ready for a spar?” Dick bounced on his toes a sadistic grin on his face as he looked at his teammates groaning in pain.
“Wait, that was the warm-up?” Garth panted as his muscles twitching in agony.
Wally was sitting in a café near campus, attempting to make sense of the mess in front of him. Papers were strewn across two tables; books were held open with pieces of fruit showing a startling diverse array of colors highlighted across the pages. Wally had two empty cups of coffee by his elbow, there was a pen behind his ear and he had a death grip on his temples staring wide eyed at the book in front of him.
“You look awful, kid.”
The sound of a chair scraped across the tile as a large man dropped into seat. Jason pushed a plate of pastries and a mocha over to the distressed man.
“I don’t get this, how is anyone supposed to understand Jane Eyre?” Wally complained.
“What is so hard to understand?” Jason asked, munching on his own scone.
“I can’t figure out what Bronte is talking about here.” Wally picked up one of the books and pointed out a highlighted passage to the Crime Lord no Vigilante no English Nerd.
“Passion vs reason, fire & ice, personal identity vs societal expectations; those are the clear themes running through the whole piece.” Jason explained.
“Look here,” he said, flipping a few pages to point to a different passage. “Bronte is clearly referring to the fridgity of the patriarchal Christian Victorian England….”
Wally bent close to share the book with the big man next to him, listening intently to try and understand his point, gently resting his hand on his broad back.
Dick felt awesome. After the brutal workout he put his teammates through he was buzzing with energy he needed to do something. A quick look at the clock showed him that Wally should be almost done with his classes by now, he should take his best friend out for dinner. With that in mind Dick took a hot shower changed into his sexy black jeans and the blue sweater that made his eyes pop. Yes, it was the same outfit that Donna told him would be great for a date night, so what if he wanted to look nice tonight? It was perfectly normal to want to dress your best when hanging out with your friends, right?
He grabbed his phone, wallet and a pair of sunglasses. He checked his tracker on his phone before he keyed in the city on the zeta tube. Now, to go find Wally for dinner.
Ten minutes later Dick was regretting this whole day, why did he even get out of bed this morning. He looked at his phone tracker again, then back into the café window. The view was the same. Wally was dating someone. He was dating a guy. A tall, dark, and handsome guy. You know the exact kind of guy that would be perfect if you didn’t go for the ginger freckled runner look.
Dick’s stomach curdled like he drank a gallon of milk on a hot summer’s day and then tried to run a marathon.
Wally was leaning forward, hand on the other man’s back, mouth open in a laugh, eyes sparkling with the gleam they only got when he was really happy about something. The other man leaned in and pressed against his friend, even wrapped an arm around him and tucked the man close to his side. The man rested his temple against Dick’s Wally.
Dick felt like he was going to be sick. He needed to get out of here, apparently, he wasn’t needed by his best friend tonight. Maybe his little brother would like some help blowing things up. Dick adjusted the setting on his phone pulling up Jason ‘for emergency use only’ tracker.
Oh.
That was why Flash was wearing Red Hood’s clothes.
His Little Wing was dating his best friend.
Oh.
He shouldn’t interrupt their date. Dick turned and walked away.
The fight was brutal, fists flew fast and hard hitting their target in all the right places. The man would be lucky if he wasn’t pissing blood for a week with how hard some of those blows landed on his back. Jason couldn’t stand by anymore, he waded into the fight fists and feet flying.
“That was painful to watch Goldie,” Red Hood bent over to help his older brother off the pavement.
Dick looked up at the hand in front of him, he debated pushing him away for a moment but he reached up and grabbed it before he ruined Jason’s relationship with the whole family. His body protested the movement but he let Jason pull him to his feet.
“You okay, wing?” Hood asked.
Jason noticed the furled lines of pain pinching his face and the way that Dick couldn’t fully stand. What in the world had he gotten into? He’d been fine a few weeks ago when he last saw him. Weren’t the Titan’s supposed to be his backup, why were they letting him go out like this?
“Fine.” Dick mumbled.
He took a halting step away from Jason heading for his nearest safehouse. Jason officially began to worry. Dick was losing fights that he wouldn’t have lost even back in his scaly panties days, he didn’t try to hug Jason to (second) death. Not even a little hug. Something was massively wrong.
Jason let out a series of thrills and chirps, looking Dick straight in the eye. Dick groaned, and ran his hand over his face.
“I’m not possessed, or a shapeshifter, I'm just having a bad week Little Wing.” Dick noticed the hard look in Jason’s eyes and repeated the same thing in the bird-call-super-secret-bat-codeTM.
Jason nodded slowly, whatever was going on Nightwing needed a break. Jason slipped out his phone and shot off a text and grabbed Dick by the shoulders and pulled him into a rough hug then shot a grapple to the next rooftop. He would kidnap Dick and take care of him.
Dick was still pouting on the couch where Jason had bullied him after he shoved him into the shower when a familiar blur rushed into the room.
“Jason, why did I get a 911 from you to bring two boxes of Crocky Crunch, a gallon of Neapolitan and Dick’s favorite movies to this address?”
Dick closed his eyes in misery, he couldn’t watch this. This was worse than watching the two of them at the café.
“OhmyGodDickwhathappenedtoyou?” Wally blurted out dropping the groceries on the coffee table and blurring into Dick’s side.
Wally reached out wanting to touch but afraid to hurt his friend. Dick was in a pair of borrowed sweats covered in Alfred’s best bruise cream and leaning on a couple of ice packs over his kidneys. Dick just sat there with his eyes closed trying not to cry, unable to actually tell his friend what was wrong.
“I found him playing punching bag for a bunch of two-bit thugs Jerry the turkey could beat up. So far he’s passed the identity tests but something’s not right. I figured you would get further than I would with finding out what is wrong.”
Jason patted Wally on the shoulder and took the stuff he brought to the kitchen, giving the two a semblance of privacy. It was a studio apartment so there really wasn’t anywhere in the place Jason wouldn’t be able to hear their conversation.
Wally sat next to him on the old couch carefully pressing into Dick’s side and wrapping an arm around his best friend.
Dick broke.
His breath hitched in his chest, great big sobs tore out of him as he crumpled into Wally’s arms.
Jason looked up panicking at the kitchen island. He'd known that something was wrong but he’d never seen Dick react like this. Dick had always seemed so strong and untouchable, there was a reason that Jason’s favorite nickname for him was Goldie.
Wally pulled Dick tighter in his arms, grounding him as he ran his fingers through Dick’s dark curls humming tunelessly until the sobs slowed down. Wally pressed a kiss into his hair and brushed the tears off his face with his thumb.
“Feel better?” he asked.
Dick shook his head, there was nothing that was going to make this situation better. Nothing.
Jason brought Wally a cold wet washcloth and Wally gently washed the rest of the tears off Dick’s face. Wally pressed another kiss to Dick’s forehead before pulling back and looking him dead in the eye.
“We're going to watch Strictly Ballroom, eat you some cereal and then you're going to tell me what's bothering you.” Wally used his serious voice, the one that meant there was no getting out of this, no amount of pleading, or bargaining would change his mind.
Dick nodded there was nothing else he could do, it was inevitable that in a little over an hour he was going to lose his best friend and become persona no grata at his little brother's house. He snuggled close to Wally, he was going to be rejected soon enough, but he was going to take every last second he had and soak up the affection while it was still offered.
Jason was freaking out, yeah he’d known something was up and figured that Wally could get to the bottom of this but he did not expect Dick to spiral so out of control. He’d seen Dick passionate about things, he'd seen him righteously furious and burning with cold anger, but he’d never seen the man breakdown into a complete freefall of emotions. Jason fell back on his earliest memories, be quiet, be still, and when safe clean up the mess. He was frozen at the counter watching helplessly as Wally calmed Dick.
When Dick could finally breathe again it felt like Jason himself was released from his own paralysis. He started getting things to make Dick feel better; he already had his comfort speedster, a wet washcloth to wash his face, place some extra blankets on the couch to bury him in softness, his favorite food was just waiting for him to be able to swallow. Jason had done everything he could to help. He waited for Wally’s signal then started the movie and brought Dick a huge bowl of cereal and sat next to him on the couch, so that Dick was bracketed by the two of them. He leaned on Dick acting like nothing was out of the ordinary, he was just willingly cuddling with Mr. Octopus-hugs for a whole movie. Mr. Octopus-hugs that wasn’t actually hugging him for once, it was more disturbing than Jason had ever imagined. Maybe he really didn’t want for Dick to leave him alone, it was far more painful than he ever thought it would be.
Wally had only seen Dick like this a few times. When Bruce kicked him out that first time, when Jay had died, right after the whole mess with Mirage. Whatever was upsetting Dick was big- massive. He only hoped that he would be enough to help. He tucked Dick in close to his side unwilling to let the other man drift away from him while he was hurting this badly. Wally ran his fingers through Dick’s hair soothing the nerves and fear that was building in his own mind as he tried to think of what had gone so wrong lately.
“I’m in love with a man.” Dicks voice said softly into Wally’s collarbone halfway through the movie.
“Okaaay.” That wasn’t anywhere close to what Wally had been expecting to hear. This isn’t even bad news so why was Dick acting like someone was dead.
“That’s a good thing right?” Jason asked.
“No.” Dick said flatly, staring at the bright colors on the screen instead of looking at either member of the happy couple.
“You know nobody is going to mind if your gay, or bi or whatever?” Wally asked.
“It’s not that- its…he already has a, a boyfriend and I never realized how much he meant to me until… until I saw him…” Dick rubbed a hand over his face. There was no way he could tell them he’d spied on them, they hadn’t chosen to tell him about their relationship so he didn’t want them to feel pressured.
“Oh, OH.” Wally squeaked, eyes wide.
Realization came to Wally as he remembered the incident last week when half the team walked into the gym and caught Roy with his tongue in Conner’s mouth, hands roaming over each other. Dick’s tendency for dating red-heads and the sudden tension running through Dick’s frame seemed to confirm his guess.
“Oh Dick, I’m so sorry.” Wally whispered into his friend's hair pulling him even tighter.
“Is… is there anything we can do to help?” Jason asked hesitantly. He hated seeing his brother a wreck like this.
“NO, no this is fine, it’s good that you two are dating. I’m sorry, I'll be fine, I promise. I just have to get used to the idea. God, I.. I shouldn't even be here taking up your date time with my stupid issues. I’m glad you two are so happy together I just …” Dick babbled until he was cut off by Wally pressing a finger to his lips.
“Dick, take a deep breath and hold it okay. Now breathe out.” Wally instructed. “Am I correct in understanding that you think me and Jason are dating?”
Dick nodded helplessly, tears brimming in his eyes.
“What the fuck Dick would you even begin to think that?” Jason exclaimed.
“Hey, I’d be a great boyfriend.” Wally protested, slightly offended by the intensity in Jason's words.
“Well, yeah you're pretty hot and I wouldn’t mind dating you but everyone knows Dick’s got first dibs on your pretty ass. He’s been freaking pining for you since I was in the scale panties, hell I thought you two had been dating for years already,” Jason agreed. Completely unaware that he just blew both of their minds with his little rant.
“Then why, why were you two on a date?” Dick asked in a small voice that didn’t really belong to one of the strongest people he knew.
“I’ve never been on a date with Jason, Rob.” Wally said.
“The café in central? You two were cuddling.”
“In the café ? You mean when I was helping Wally with his English Paper?” Jason said, confused.
“English Paper?”
“Yes, I was struggling with my paper for Eng 304 and he was helping me understand Bronte,” Wally shrugged, “but more importantly why were you spying on us in the café?”
“I wasn't. I was going to see if you wanted to get dinner with me, and followed you on my tracker. Then when I saw you cuddling with a guy, I tried to go chill with Jay and pulled his tracker up and realized you were cuddling Jay.”
“Wait, back up you have a tracker on me?” Wally asked.
“Ummm, yeah? This isn’t new. I have like four on you. I have for years,” Dick was confused. Surely Wally knew that is what his friendship bracelet was, and the Nightwing pin that Wally put on his bookbag. Okay, he probably didn’t know about the subdermal one that Dick put in one of the shots he had to get after that weird mission when they got separated on a random planet and then got the space flu.
“This is another one of those ‘you’re paranoid because Batman is your dad and normal people don’t do this’ things again isn’t it?” Dick sighed, running his fingers through his hair.
“Yeah, hate to tell you that isn't normal behavior.” Wally said.
“Uggh,” Dick groaned.
“Dick, next time just ask me, okay?” Wally said. “I don’t mind carrying a tracker if it will make you feel better but I’d like to know about it.”
“This, this right here is why everyone thinks you’ve been dating for years.” Jason said. “No one is that chill when they find out that they’ve been bugged for years even if it is by their best friend.”
Jason looked over at his friend. Roy was messing around with something mechanical, tongue sticking out the picture of complete focus.
“Are you even listening to me?” he asked.
“Yepp, you are all pissy cause somehow you got Wing and Wally together and now you're jealous.” Roy said.
Jason sighed, it figured that Roy wouldn’t understand. He barely understood it himself. Somehow, sitting there on his shitty couch with the two of them that night sparked a desire in him for something he’d had no idea that he’d even wanted. But the three of them watching dumb moives, talking about love and dating, the feeling of rightness while leaning into Dick of being with Wally that… that changed everything.
“I’m not jealous,” Jason had come to the tower to vent about his newly discovered problem, not to be made fun of.
Roy let out a disbelieving squawk. “Uumm, sorry my bad. My bullshit meter just went off.”
“I’m not jealous of them, I’m happy that Dick & Wally are finally together.” Jason said quietly. “I want to make Dick’s eye light up with excitement when he sees me, I want to taste Wally’s kisses, I want to be theirs. I just…I just want to be a part of it.”
“But Dick is your brother.” Roy said, arching an eyebrow at Jay.
“I know, that's why it doesn’t matter, I know that Dick would never go for me ‘cause you’re my little brother’ but that doesn’t mean I don't want it,” Jason scrubbed a hand over his face exhausted from the emotions. “That I don’t want them.”
“Jay, I can’t tell you what to do, but if it means so much to you maybe you should talk to them about it?” Roy said. “Okay, you may be right and Dick wouldn’t go for it or Wally wouldn’t want to share, but you don't know if you don't talk about it.”
“Oh I can see it now, ‘hey guys I know you just started dating, because my brother decided to go get himself beat to shit because he thought you were dating me but do you two want to date me?’ I’m sure that would go over great.” Jason sniped back at his best friend.
“Yeah, that might go badly, maybe, don’t refer to Dick as your brother in the same breath as asking him out until you figure out if he’s into you know incest or whatever.” Roy said as the most unhelpful wingman ever.
Wally threaded his and Dick’s fingers together as they were coming back from their date, their first date. Not like he and Dick hadn’t been physically affectionate for years but it had a whole new meaning now that they were boyfriends. The very thought made him a little giddy, like he was the heroine in one of those silly romance novels all aswoon for their man.
Dick pulled on Wally’s hand stopping him before they hit the common room pushing him to the wall intent on showering him in kisses. They both froze when they heard Jason say the fateful words…“I’m not jealous of them, I’m happy that Dick & Wally are finally together. I want to make Dick’s eye light up with excitement when he sees me, I want to taste Wally’s kisses, I want to be theirs. I just…I just want to be a part of it.”
Dick barely managed to contain his gasp. His mouth went dry and all thought flew straight out of his brain. ‘I want to be theirs,’ played on repeat in his mind so loud he almost missed the next part. “Dick would never go for me ‘cause you’re my little brother’ but that doesn’t mean I don't want it,” Jason’s voice quavered with the intensity of his emotions “That I don’t want them.”
All the blood rushed south in his body, Dick had never felt so turned on in his life, he was barely able to refrain from moaning Jason’s name. Dick closed his eyes and leaned forward settling his face in the crook of Wally’s neck, how in the world could he be this turned on by the very idea of his little brother wanting him, wanting to be theirs. He and Wally had just started dating and now Wally was going to think the worst of Dick and break up with him. He couldn’t help how quickly his body reacted to the thought.
Wally was not expecting to be hearing this conversation and he definitely was not expecting the kind of reactions that were being pulled from Dick because of said conversation. He could see the intense desire in Dick’s face before he tried to blank his expression and hid in Wally’s shoulder with a desperate moan.
When Wally felt how immediate Dick’s arousal was he knew that this was going to have to be something they talked about. The whimper and moan that Dick muffled on his neck when asked about dating the two of them was an interesting tell, but it was the bite on his shoulder as Roy said ‘figure out if he’s into you know incest’ that prompted Wally to tap into the speedforce and run them to Dick’s apartment instead of their rooms in the Tower.
“So, I think we should talk.” Wally said as he put Dick down on his couch.
“I'm sorry, I didn’t mean to.. I wouldn’t do anything Wally,” Dick started desperately.
Wally cut Dick off with a kiss.
“I’m not breaking up with you.” Wally reached over and took Dick’s face in his hands, forcing his boyfriend to look at him.
“I’m not upset with you at all, I really just want to talk about this, okay.” he gently rubbed the pads of his thumb across Dick’s cheek wiping away the tears that had fallen.
“So, I noticed a few interesting reactions; specifically to Jason belonging to us and the word incest.” Wally said.
“Oh, god you're really going to make me say this aren’t you?” Dick whined.
At Wally’s playful ‘Yep’ Dick groaned and fell back into the couch dramatically.
“Thanks, for meeting up with me again Jason.” Wally said as he unpacked his books at the café.
Jason nodded, pants getting a little tight at the sight of Wally in his tiny running shorts and shirt that pulled at his biceps. He was not here to ogle his brother's boyfriend.
“No problem, so what is this paper on?” Jason sat in the seat next to Wally.
“‘A Home at the End of the World’ by Michael Cunningham.” Wally said, placing his hand on Jason’s arm.
“Oh, interesting: love and acceptance and polygamoraus relationships amidst a huge overcurrent of judgment and hated.” Jason’s eyes lit up in excitement about his subject matter.
Wally leaned into Jason’s space absently mindlessly running his fingers over Jason’s arm.
It didn’t matter that Wally was leaning up against him like this; he was not going to objectify Dick’s boyfriend even if part of him did want to run his hand up Wally’s thigh to find out exactly where those scandalous little shorts stopped.
“So, you said this was about Polyamory?” Wally said in a low husky voice that sent a frisson of excitement straight to Jason’s groin.
Jason gulped, this was going to be harder than he thought. A lot harder than he thought. Jason tried to subtly adjust his jeans to hide his hum distraction and dove into the subject matter instead.
“Ughh,” Wally groaned into the couch cushions hours later. He’d come home from the study session, dropped his bookbag on the ground and flopped face first on the couch.
“That bad huh?” Dick walked into the living room and perched on the edge of a cushion so that he could run his finger through his partner's red locks.
“Your brother is a perfect Gentleman,” Wally turned his head just enough that he was no longer talking into the cushions. “I pulled out all my tricks, gentle touches, skimpy shorts, long soulful glances, we talked about Polyamory for two hours and he barely twitched.”
“I’m not sure how he managed to go so long looking at you dressed like that without touching you. You look positively delicious in that outfit.” Dick let his hand trail from his boyfriend's hair and started trailing down his back.
“I guess that means I get to give it a try next?” Was the last thing Dick said before pulling off Wally’s shirt and leaning into suck on his neck. Wally was soon lost in the haze of pleasure that came from Dick’s mouth on him.
It was a week later that Dick got the chance to talk to Jason alone.
“JAY -son,” Dick singsonged at the man stitching him up.
“What Dickie?” Jason growled.
The only reason Jason answered was a long history of Dick pestering him while on ‘the good drugs.’
“Jason you're pretty.”
“Shut up dickhead.” Jason couldn’t repress the blush that dusted his cheeks. His freckles stood out when he blushed. Dick thought he should do that more often because he was so cute when flustered.
Dick stared intently at Jason watching his every move and twitch. He didn’t stop staring until the others rolled in from the latest fight.
“Welp, you have more babysitters now I guess I'll be going.” Jason said as he went to get up and leave.
No one expected Dick to tear up and start crying as Jason tried to move. He didn’t expect the fist clenching tightly into his jacket or the fervent murmurs of ‘Mine, no don’t leave me, your mine,’ whispered like a prayer into his ear.
Jason sighed and sat back down, letting his drugged up big brother cuddle him close and whisper words of love that cut like knives and stung like poison. If only they were true.
Maybe, it hadn’t been a good idea to talk about love and desire when half out of his mind on painkillers but Dick didn’t really want to wait any longer before asking Jason to be THEIRS.
There was a knock on the door, Wally headed over to open it. He’d never been so disappointed to see the pizza guy in his life. Food was great but that is not who he was hoping was at the door. He smiled and tipped the guy bringing the food in and putting the boxes on the kitchen Island.
He only jumped a little when he turned and saw Jason in his full Red Hood gear standing behind him.
“Holy Moses, get a freaking bell, all of you bats need a bell so I know where you guys are.”
“Dick said to come over, I thought you guys would be expecting me.” Jason shrugged carelessly.
“I don’t know why we even have a front door, it's not like any of you know how to use one anyways.” Wally continued his absentminded rant.
“Hey, Little Wing,” Dick came out of their room with just a pair of yoga pants on, his hair still damp from the shower, bare chest glistening with drops of water that caught Jason’s eye and made him want to lean forward and lick them.
Jason was suddenly glad he’d come in uniform so that they couldn't see the way his eyes followed the drops of water trailing down his chest to the waistband of the yoga pants. Dick caught him off guard when he leaned in for a hug, Jason twisted slightly so that Dick wouldn’t know how badly he was affecting him and melted into the hug.
“So, why did you ask me to come over Dick?” Jason asked, popping his helmet off, when he finally managed to wriggle out of the hug.
“How about we eat first,” Wally suggested, handing Jason a bottle of his favorite beer.
“What’s going on Dick, Wally you look like you're trying to wine and dine me? You have my favorite beer which I know you hate, Goldie, and pizza from my favorite place…” Jason trailed off when he saw the twitch on Wally’s face. Jason put down the beer and his hand twitched toward his guns.
“What is going on?” he asked again in a much darker growl.
“Well, we are trying to wine and dine you, Little Wing.” Dick said with a shrug a little unsure of how to proceed now that they were talking about it directly.
“Fuck off Goldie, did Roy put you up to this?”
Jason spun around and started back to the front door, Wally rushed in front of the door.
“Please, we just want to talk to you for a moment.” Wally held his arms out blocking the door. Jason looked at the other man and glowered.
“Wally, I don't want to hurt you so you need to move now.”
“Jason, please just hear us out. If you don't like what we have to offer we will all just pretend this conversation never happened, no harm, no foul.” Dick came around his other side blocking access to the windows.
Jason pinched his nose trying to push off the massive headache that these two were giving him.
“You’ve got ten minutes to make your case Goldie, after that I’m out of here.” Jason sighed.
“Okay, okay,” Dick stuttered over his words, suddenly nervous. He looked over at Wally for a little help.
“We heard you talking to Roy in the tower,” Wally blurted out, “about wanting to be a part of our relationship.”
“Little Wing, please be ours. We want you to be a part of this relationship, you want to be a part of our relationship, can you give us a chance.” Dick said, reaching his hand out to Jason. “Please.”
“Dick, Wally,” Jason glanced up at them with a helpless look on his face, “you better not be teasing me, I can’t handle it if this is just some joke to you. If this is just a game I need to know right now.”
“Jason, this isn’t a joke, we want to try and make this work with all of us.” Wally said.
He took a step closer, and put his hand on Jason’s shoulder. Jason looked over at Wally and bit his lip. Then, he leaned into Wally’s space and kissed the older man. Wally leaned into the kiss, gentle and firm, pulling a soft moan from Jason as he pressed against him.
Dick was completely entranced with the sight of his boyfriend and his brother kissing. Dick didn’t even notice that he was moaning until they stopped kissing and both looked over at him whimpering and making grabby hands.
“Is he always like that?” Jason asked Wally.
“Yeah, but I find it adorable.” Wally grinned back.
“Guys, quit making fun of me.” Dick whined.
“So, does this mean I get to kiss both of you?” Jason asked. “Or is this a Dick just wants to watch us make out kind of thing?”
“I want you too, Little Wing.” Dick moved in and put his hand on Jason’s cheek. “Can I please kiss you?”
At Jason’s nod Dick pulled Jason close and pressed a kiss on his lips. Dick surged forward at the first taste. Jason melted into the kiss.
Wally was late for class, again. He jumps out of bed, grabs the first clothes he gets his hands on and rushes off. He makes it class right as the bell is going off.
Who decided that six am classes should be a thing? They should be illegal. Especially because it was Intro to Criminal Psychology, a class that he could probably teach better than Dr. Myers at this point. Too bad he couldn’t use his experience as Kid Flash to opt out of the class, he’s probably talked to more criminals and supervillains than his professor. Why did this have to be a prereq that he had to have and it was only taught at six freaking am?
At least after class he had a nice long break and was going to be able to meet up with his boyfriends for breakfast. It had only been a few weeks that the three of them had been dating but he was still so excited to be able to call them both his boyfriend.
Jason and Dick were waiting outside his building when his class let out. The two of them were getting a lot of attention from the students milling about. Jason was smoking glowering at anybody that stared too long leaning against the wall in his dark leather jacket looking like the epitome of a modern romance novel bad boy. Dick looked like he’d just come from a modeling gig, tousled hair ruffled by the breeze, a come-hither look and pouty lips that just screamed come kiss me.
Wally almost tripped down the stairs when he saw them. He flickered in and out of the speedforce, unable to decide if he wanted to rush to their side or slow down to enjoy the view more. As a result he stuttered and tripped over himself like the disaster bi he was until he came to a stop in front of them.
“Hi.” he said softly, shy for some inexplicable reason. Like he hadn’t just gotten out of the bed the three of them shared less than two hours ago.
“Hi yourself,” Jason smirked, “I like the outfit there, babe.”
Wally looked down at his outfit and blushed; he'd literally thrown on the first thing that he touched. He was wearing a pair of jeans, probably Dick’s from the cut, one of Jason’s shirts and a Nightwing themed hoodie.
“You do look so hot right now; I really like the look of you in my colors.” Dick said, pulling Wally in for a kiss.
“Me too,” Jason said. “That Red Hood emblem looks really good on you.”
